[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried quite a few stick vacs over the years, and honestly this one surprised me. The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush handled everyday messes really well — everything from dog hair and dust to random cereal spills and bigger debris in the kitchen. I didn’t feel like I had to keep going over the same spot multiple times like I do with some cordless vacuums.
The AutoAdapt feature was actually one of my favorite parts because you could hear and feel it kick into higher power when it hit thicker messes or rugs. It made cleaning feel easier without constantly changing settings myself.
I also loved the self-standing design way more than I expected. Being able to just stand it up quickly while moving things or picking something up was genuinely convenient and made cleaning less annoying overall.
For the price, I think it’s a really solid value compared to other stick vacs I’ve owned. It feels lightweight but still powerful, and it actually made quick daily cleaning less of a chore. Definitely one of the better cordless vacuums I’ve used recently.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush really impressed me with its dual brush design and powerful suction. It works especially well on rugs and carpet, easily picking up debris and pet hair without needing multiple passes. The AutoAdapt technology is also a really cool feature—it automatically kicks on when needed and has been genuinely helpful during everyday cleaning.
One of my favorite things about this vacuum is that it stands on its own. I’ve owned other cordless vacuums that constantly tip over, so this makes storage and quick cleanups so much easier. I also think it’s a great value considering the included attachments. The stair tool is especially useful for cleaning carpeted steps in handheld mode, and the crevice tool works great for tight spaces.
On hard floors, it performs well but not quite as strongly as it does on carpet. It picks up most messes, including smaller crumbs, but can struggle with larger pieces. My other small complaint is that the dust cup can be a bit tricky to reattach after emptying.
Overall, this is a powerful cordless vacuum that’s great for daily home upkeep, especially for homes with rugs, carpets, or pets.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum has great maneuverability, comes with lots of attachments and seems durable. The features I love the most are the super bright headlights and the ability for it to stand upright on its own - when charging and when I need to stop/start my cleaning. Other stick vacuums I've had would make you have to precariously lean the product up against something - inevitably falling.
The only wishes I have are better suction on the lower mode and longer battery time in the high mode. I also hate cleaning out vacuum dirt tanks - it's always messy and pet hair gets wrapped and tangled so I have to pull it out with my hand - yuck. Makes me avoid dumping out until it's way too full. Making the clean up job even worse.
It think I read something about having an auto sense feature, but I didn't really notice how it worked or if it was working.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We’re thrilled to hear you love the cleaning power and those bright headlights—they really do make a difference in spotting hidden debris. For the dirt cup, we recommend tapping it gently over a trash bin and using a soft brush or an old toothbrush to loosen any compacted debris, which can make the process easier and less messy. If you’d like more tips, our support team is always happy to help at bissell.com/support. Thanks again for making this BISSELL vacuum your daily go-to!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a lab/husky mix and an almost 2 year old son so I'm constantly running the vacuum, and I've become pretty selective.
I've used vacuums in the past with headlights and loved them, but I hadn't used an upholstery attachment with headlights and I'm obsessed! My brown dog matches my couch and having the lights to see what hair I'm missing makes vacuuming the couch much faster and more thorough! I appreciated that this vacuum was also self-standing since it made it easier to store.
Additionally, I was excited about the high clearance of this model, and I ended up loving it. It picks up my dog's kibbles and my son's snack mess whereas the other stick vacuums I've tried just push those messes around. I also ended up really liking the AutoAdapt technology. I had diatomaceous earth spill onto my baseboards and the auto sensing paired with the crevice tool was incredibly helpful at getting all the bits up. I didn't have to go through for a second pass or use a damp cloth on the baseboards afterwards! My one minor complaint was that the battery drained fairly quickly when tackling those more intense messes, but the effectiveness of the cleaning was worth the tradeoff to me.
I did have some issues with the dust sensor getting blocked, but that was covered in the troubleshooting guide and it was incredibly easy to resolve.
I would say this vacuum solidly makes it onto my short list of vacuums to recommend to fellow dog owners and moms.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 small kids, one who is crawling, and 2 of the hairiest animals on the planet. I vacuum 2-3 times a day and it’s never enough. This vacuum has actually made this much easier for me. It’s lightweight and maneuvers easily so I can hold the baby in one arm and quickly vacuum the house with the other. It does great at sucking up all of the pet hair and toddler crumbs, and gets bigger debris with no problem.
The AutoAdapt feature is great because it kicks in right as I start sucking up things that require more power. The self standing feature is nice because I can leave it in the corner of a room to have it easily handy for then next time I need it (a couple hours later, lol). It’s lightweight enough where my kids actually like to push it around and use it too so that’s been nice! And I’ve liked how easy it is to detach the stick part and use it as a handheld vacuum for under the couch, inside drawers, etc etc.
Overall I really like this and find it a much better value and better overall product compared to other stick vacs I’ve used. This one is a keeper!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 kids (6 is the oldest), 2 dogs (one of which is a golden retriever/great Pyrenees mix (aka the never-ending dog hair express), and a blue collar husband whose boots were apparently made for walkin’… straight through the dirt and into my house.
I already own a different Bissell stick vacuum that has been my die-hard favorite, so truthfully, I didn’t think anything could even compete with it. But this one? This one surprised me.
My first concern was how in the world 2 roller brushes were going to handle the mountains of dog hair around here. And not just little short hairs either. I’m talking long strands of fur longer than the hair I can grow on my own head (ok, that might be a slight bit exaggerated, but still, they are long).
Yeahhhh, this vacuum made me eat my own words real quick. This thing tackled MOUNTAINS of hair buildup and NOT ONE SINGLE TANGLE!! Seriously, look at the bottom of this thing after I sucked up that third dog I somehow accumulated (see attached pics). Oh, and then it handled the dirt and dust too. And I’m not talking about the obvious crumbs you can already see on the floor. I mean the nasty hidden stuff you only notice when you shine a flashlight across the hardwood from eye level. Which, another fun perk, this vacuum does it for you with its high beam headlights. Fair warning: don’t vacuum with company over unless you want to humble yourself.
The AutoAdapt feature definitely works like it’s supposed to. You can actually hear and feel it kick the power up when it detects more debris, which is pretty cool and probably helps battery life too. I think I’m just a little old school because I personally prefer controlling the power myself. That’s more of a “me problem” than a vacuum problem though lol.
One of the simple but appreciated things about Bissell stick vacuums in general is the self-standing feature, and I’m so glad this one has it too. Just makes storage so much easier.
Another unexpected favorite perk for me is how well this vacuum handles smaller area rugs! My other stick vacuum constantly triggers the safety shutoff because it senses the rug lifting too much from the suction — even when I’m practically doing gymnastics trying to hold the rug down with my feet while vacuuming.
But this one? Totally different story. The dual brush system does such a deep clean that it doesn’t have to rely on insanely aggressive suction power to get everything up. So instead of the vacuum constantly shutting itself off, it actually cleans the rug really well without trying to inhale the entire thing into another dimension.
Honestly, for anyone with smaller rugs or runners around the house, that alone was a total game changer for me.
Also almost forgot about the attachments! The furniture pet hair tool got a workout in my house and did amazing. Combined with the crevice tool, it was the ultimate duo for tackling my carpeted stairs and furniture.
The overall build quality feels really sturdy and well made too. Nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy. And the dust bin? Let’s just say I accidentally filled it waaaaay past the max line so that just proves how much hair and dirt this thing can handle before needing emptied. (Although I don’t recommend going past max.)
Listen, if you can’t tell, I genuinely LOVE this upgraded model. Like… REALLY love it. It officially earned the top spot over my previous favorite Bissell stick vacuum, which I honestly didn’t think was possible. So now I just keep one upstairs and one downstairs. Safe to say Bissell knows what they’re doing when it comes to stick vacuums.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really happy with the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush so far. It does a great job picking up both small crumbs and larger debris, and the suction feels strong and consistent. The AutoAdapt feature was honestly one of my favorite parts because it automatically adds extra power when needed, which made cleaning feel effortless. I also liked the self-standing design a lot more than I expected to. It stands up well on its own, so I never had to mess around trying to prop it up while cleaning. Overall, I think it’s a great value for the price compared to other stick vacuums I’ve used. My only complaints are that it can feel a little heavy after a while, and I really wish it came with an extra battery. Other than that, it’s been a solid vacuum and I’ve enjoyed using it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried several cordless vacuums, and the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is by far the best one I’ve owned. With three kids and a dog, this vacuum gets used multiple times a day and keeps up with all the messes without any issues.
One of my favorite features is how quiet it is. I can clean while the baby is asleep without worrying about waking them up. The self-standing design is also a huge plus since it doesn’t constantly tip over like other cordless vacuums I’ve used.
It has multiple suction settings that work great for everything from everyday crumbs to larger messes, and it’s super easy to empty. The included tools make cleaning furniture, corners, and different surfaces simple and convenient.
I truly cannot say enough good things about the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush. It has made daily cleaning so much easier for our household, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable cordless vacuum!
