Excellent Stick Vac for Homes with Rugs and Dogs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really happy overall with the performance of the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush. My home has hardwood floors throughout, but I also have several large area rugs in different materials, including jute and wool. This vacuum handled transitions between surfaces really well and the suction on rugs was especially strong!
One of my favorite features was the AutoAdapt technology. I have two dogs, so there’s always fur around the house, and it was genuinely satisfying to watch the vacuum automatically kick into higher power when it hit clumps of hair or larger debris. It felt responsive and effective without me having to manually adjust settings.
I also loved the headlights! They are unbelievably bright and made it so much easier to see dust and fur hiding along edges and under furniture. The vacuum lays very flat, which helped it reach far underneath my console tables and other low furniture without any trouble.
The design feels a little 90s , but honestly that didn’t bother me because the cleaning performance made up for it. I didn’t think it was quite as strong on hardwood floors, especially around corners and crevices where debris could sometimes get left behind. Even with that, I still found it to outperform several other stick vacs I’ve tried, particularly in homes with pets and mixed flooring.

Lights the way to dirt and pet hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush combats both pet hair, and toddler messes, with ease! As a busy mom of 2 boys, and a fur mom of a dog and a cat, I give this cordless vacuum four and a half stars! It comes with a mount that screws easily into the wall, allowing it to hang to charge. The mount also stores its attachments. This is great for keeping everything in one place. I am so impressed with the brightness of the headlights. The headlights really help to find all crumbs, pet hair, and dirt in their path. As someone who usually vacuums on only full power, I really enjoyed the AutoAdapt technology. The vacuum feels pretty powerful on its regular mode, but when it senses extra dirt, it is quick to kick it up a notch. This is great for battery life, as I can conserve the extra power for when I really need it. Speaking of battery life, I was able to vacuum my whole house without needing to recharge it, which is a huge plus. The self standing design is another added bonus. I can pause mid vacuum to tend to mom duties, and not worry about it falling over. I also really appreciate the quietness of this vacuum, a huge plus for nervous dogs like mine. For me, this vacuum is an excellent value. I found it much cheaper, and more powerful, than other brands that I have tried in the past. The only con for me was the weight of the vacuum. This vacuum felt heavier than other stick vacuums that I have tried. I did notice the added weight when pushing it for extended times, and while vacuuming over-head areas. Overall, I love this stick vacuum! For the price, this vacuum exceeds my expectations. It really delivers on all my needs in a cordless vacuum; powerful, adaptable suction; bright headlights; and ease of storage. An excellent addition to my busy household!

Great everyday vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great everyday vacuum. We have 3 kids and a dog and find ourselves vacuuming at least once per day. We’ve tried a few different stick vacuums over the years, and are very impressed with the features on this Bissell Powerclean.
First, it is lightweight and easy to maneuver. We are able to get around furniture, under ledges and around obstacles without issue. One of my favorite features is the built-in crevice tools on both the hand-vac and the extension wand. I am able to quickly detach the vacuum from the floor attachment and suction up small debris around table legs or in corners that are more difficult to reach without carrying around an additional attachment.
The AutoAdapt technology has been great. It kicks in whenever it encounters larger pieces of food or dirt and kicks off as soon as it detects that it’s been all suctioned up. I like that it automatically senses that the mess requires more suction and I don’t have to switch power levels or attachments to clean it up. We have a mix of flooring in our house, and have found it works well on tile, hardwood and carpeted areas. The upholstery attachment has been helpful on couches and stairs and it is easy to remove and clean the dirt tank and sensors between uses.
I love that this vacuum can stand on its own. I was wary, at first, that it might be too top heavy, but we’ve been able to leave it standing between cleaning sessions without an issue. We have the dock mounted in our laundry room, and the vacuum head clicks right into place. It is a little difficult to remove from the dock, but I like knowing that it is secure and won’t slip off and hit the floor. We’ve found that it charges quickly, and we’re able to sweep our house on a charge with some leftover.
It should also be mentioned that the box it comes in came with instructions to turn it into a toy for cats. There were perforated triangles that could be punched out for them to play in. I, personally, don’t own a cat, but I loved that this is a product for pet owners, and it offers something fun for the animals they care for as well.
Overall, I am very impressed by this vacuum. It’s easy to use, cleans big and small messes and I love the convenience of the AutoAdapt and built-in crevice tools. It is one of the best battery powered stick vacuums that I’ve used and I would recommend to parents of kids and pets.

Wow Impressed with this vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of a one year-old constantly snacking and spilling things all over my house, I have absolutely loved this vacuum! It handles everything from crumbs to bigger dirt messes after we come inside from playing so easily. The auto adapt technology was a really cool feature that I have not had before, it was very convenient how it kicked up the suction power when it sensed it needed too. The self standing design was awesome for when I needed to pause to go help my son with something. Overall this is one of the best stick vacuums I've ever tried and definitely seems like a great value.

Perfect family friendly vac

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really solid, family-friendly vacuum! My favorite feature by far is the integrated light feature! It illuminates crumbs and messes under counters making for easy pick-up. My current stick vacuum is far inferior-this one kicks in with extra power on rugs and carpet. Emptying the basket was also a breeze as well. Highly recommend this vacuum for families!

Absolutely obsessed with this thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My two previous stick vacuums simply could not keep up with the volume of hair that my lovely Blue Heeler sheds on a constant basis. I was all but ready to give up on having the ease of a cordless and lightweight vacuum, without sacrificing power or dealing with incessant clogs but instead, I was blown away (or vacuumed up, rather)! The headlights are incredibly revealing... I'm a bit ashamed to share my included pictures with this, because it shows the state of my floor after a few DAYS without vacuuming, but as long as you don't judge, you can look. The included dog hair was effortlessly removed with one swipe on the Auto-Adapt mode. The self-standing is also a lifesaver that I never knew I was missing with my previous two stick vacuums. The same goes for the charging wall mount- I previously had to remove the battery to charge it, which I didn't realize was such a pain until I no longer had to do that with this awesome vacuum. I could go on and on, but I think the fur-finder attachment is probably my favorite so far- i have used many MANY types of this tool to try to keep my couches clean and none of them have ever worked as well as this. 10/10.

Gold Star Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to receive my Bissell Power Clean Dual Brush from the stellar testing panel. Let me begin by stating I am every vacuums nightmare. I have 4 small kids, a dog, long hair, and I live in the desert; so basically there is hair, fine sand, and crumbs everywhere all the time. This has also made me a vacuum snob and I can be very critical but this vacuum has surpassed my expectations. The assembly was super smooth and easy, all the pieces fit nicely without any awkward maneuvering.
Aesthetically I love the color and the fact that it can stand on its own without having to lean on anything is a big bonus. Plus the fact that the stand can be mounted on the wall, with all the accessories being able to be stored, and allowing the vacuum to charge while being on it, is basically the equivalent of miracle for me. No more searching for the attachments or leaning the vacuum up against something or even worse trying to use it and its not charged.
As far as weight it is light and maneuverable, my 6 year old son used it easily and effectively. I was able to easily use it to vacuum my stairs, my couch, even my curtains. I used every attachment and it was dream come true, corners I have been trying to clean that had fine sand were easily and completely cleaned. My carpet has crumbs, human hair, and dog hair at any given time and this vacuum got hair out of the carpet that my previous vacuum missed even after just using it. I loved the AutoAdapt technology especially when my two year old dumped an entire bag of chips on the floor and this vacuum was able to clean it up (even the larger pieces) no problem. It switched from tight vacuuming for the fine small pieces to major power for the larger chips. I have never had a vacuum that worked that well. Also the fact that I was able to vacuum my downstairs, stairs, and upstairs using one charge was the chief's kiss. I will definitely be recommending this vacuum in the future.

The bright headlights are my favorite feature on this vacuum to combat my hectic household consisting of a toddler, baby, dog and cat. I especially loved how well it picked up all of the dog hair and crumbs from my family. The AutoAdapt technology allowed me to easily go between surfaces while adjusting the power for especially dirty areas (i.e. after my toddler eats her meals). The self-standing design allows for the vacuum to take up less floor space and is great when I need to quickly shift tasks. Having had other stick vacuums in the past, the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush can't be beat. This vacuum has truly made the everyday cleaning tasks easier and more fun to complete.
