[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 3 with dogs, I feel like there’s always something on the floor — crumbs, dirt, dog hair, you name it. The DualBrush has honestly been such a game changer because I don’t feel like I’m vacuuming the same area over and over anymore just to make sure everything’s picked up. It handles everything from larger crumbs and snack messes to fine dust and pet hair in just 1-2 passes, which makes everyday cleaning so much faster. I also love the light feature because you can actually see what’s on the floor and tell when an area is really clean, especially under furniture or in corners where dust and dog hair usually hide.
I also really love the AutoAdapt technology. Being able to move from dust to dog hair to bigger debris without constantly adjusting the suction is such a nice feature, especially in a busy house. It automatically kicks in extra power when needed, and I’ve definitely noticed it helps extend the battery life too. I’m able to clean a lot more on a single charge without having to stop and recharge midway through.
One thing I didn’t expect to love as much as I do is the self-standing design. With young kids, I’m constantly getting interrupted, so being able to just stand it upright while I go deal with something and come back to it later is actually super convenient.
Overall, the DualBrush and AutoAdapt features are what really make this vacuum stand out compared to other stick vacs I’ve tried. It makes vacuuming feel way less like a hassle because it’s efficient, powerful, and saves me time. Being able to get the job done on a single charge without having to repeatedly go over the same spots makes it completely worth it for our busy household.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very impressed with this stick vacuum. I've never owned a Bissell vacuum before and have only used another brands stick vacuum. After using this vacuum for a couple weeks, I'm completely sold! It works great on hardwood floors, tile, carpet, and area rugs. I love the feature it has for adapting to the power needed automatically. So if I'm on a hard surface & go straight over to a carpet, the vacuum automatically detects that it needs more suction and does it on its own. Love that. This vacuum is also great with pet hair! We have a pug and daily vacuuming is a must or it gets out of control with all the fur. Taking the vacuum apart and using the different attachments is easy too. I also like that this vacuum can stand upright on its own without needing to lean on something. My other stick vac was too heavy for this. Another thing I like is that it came with a wall mount that you can have connected to the charger so then its also an easy charging dock for the vacuum. All the attachments can be attached to the mount and aren't bulky. Everything can just be in one place. I'd say the run time on the battery is average compared with my old one. It will depend on the power mode you use a lot to determine battery life. Overall I'm very impressed with this vacuum and recommend for people to try who are in search for a stick vacuum.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is great! The Bissel PowerClean Dual Brush does a great job sweeping up sand, pet hair, and baby snacks. We have a 150lb dog and she sheds A LOT, and she brings in a lot of sand from our backyard. This vacuum is amazing! The lights on the front show you the dirt, even on light colored surfaces. We have a lot of dark tile in our home, so you can see the sand and hair, but the lights of this thing really show you how dirty your floor is (gross!). It also shows you how well the vacuum does at sucking up all the dirt and hair.
The AutoAdapt technology is great - it turns up the suction when you need it. The suction on this vacuum is great even on the lower settings for less dirt. We use this vacuum everyday - it’s reasonably quiet and doesn’t wake my baby up when she’s sleeping.
It is a little heavier than some other stick vacuums I’ve used and I wasn’t confident it would stand on its own but it does! It also came with a very handing charging station that you can mount to a wall and it keeps your attachments all in one place. The fur attachment is awesome for furniture! It really keeps my couch clean.
Also, the battery comes out of the vacuum so you can charge the battery anywhere if you don’t use the wall mount.
This vacuum has replaced our other stick vacuum - it doesn’t clog as easily, it has better suction, and it stands on its own. I think this is a fantastic value for the money. Highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a great vacuum for my house with a dog that sheds a ton plus a 4 year old.
We have a mix of hard wood floors, tile, carpet and rugs throughout the house, so being able to swap suction strength easily as I move between them all was big for me. It's a single button on the handle, which was really nice. This was the first vacuum I've owned with lights on it to help show what's on your floor, and it made me realize just how much mess I was missing cleaning before on my hardwoods especially. I actually liked vacuuming with the room lights off to help see everything from the vacuum lights alone.
We track in a lot of dry leaves and dirt, which it seemed to handle well on the highest suction setting. The vacuum has this AutoAdapt mode where it sucks harder if it senses you need it to, which worked well as I transitioned between different carpet types.
I really like that we can leave it free-standing when you click the handle fully upright since we don't have a dedicated closet to prop this in. The long battery life has also been helpful since we tend to vacuum the house all at once. That was an issue we had with our last vacuum, where the battery would give out early.
This has definitely been an upgrade in quality over our old stick vacuum, which has been really nice with a shedding dog and messy kid.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is an affordable, lightweight option that gets the job done. My favorite features are the lighted head and the self-standing design. Some background on me as a buyer: I have two kids, a long-haired, heavily shedding dog, and have a mix of hardwood, carpet, and area rugs. I own two other more expensive cordless stick vacuums, one corded vac, and two cordless wet/dry vacs.
Areas where it excels:
-The lighted head so I can see what I am cleaning
-The length and flat design of the head allow me to clean deep under furniture without moving it or laying on the ground
-The self-standing design! I love that when I stop to pick up a Lego or move some furniture, I don’t need to lay the vacuum on the ground or risk it falling when I prop it on the wall. It truly stands on its own
-Ease of use for attachments: I can use my foot to remove the power head and easily add the crevice tool
-Functional design for the charger and attachments. It comes with a wall mount for charging and storing attachments. 2 of my other vacuums have no solution for storage of attachments or only provide storage for some attachments. The Bissell is designed for what it comes with, making storage easy. I also love that the battery can be removed and charged separately so I don’t need to mount and display my vacuum on a prominent wall near a plug if I don’t want to.
Neutral:
-The AutoAdapt technology seems to only kick on when you are suctioned to a surface. For me, this primarily kicked on with the crevice tool. A forgettable feature for me
-Does well with small and large debris. Can pickup goldfish and Cheerios with ease; my other stick vacs require me to smash the items before they can pick up the larger debris. Cheez Its were too large for it though. While it can pickup the larger debris, too many large items in a row led to clogs. For example, cleaning up a large spill or vacuuming spilled snacks from my car caused clogs going into the dirt container
-Power feels comparable to other cordless stick vacs. They all fall short in power compared to my corded vac.
Area it falls short:
-Edges – the plastic around the head is thick so it does not do well getting up to the edge of a wall or furniture. You need to use the crevice tool around the entire perimeter for a proper cleaning
-Noise - small items can be excessively loud. I vacuumed up some beads and dry dog food. If the dirt container is relatively empty, those items spin in circles and loudly smash the edges continuously. The noise really bothered my kids and even bothered my ears, far more so than any of my other vacuums do. My daughter left the room crying and covering her ears.
Overall, I would recommend this vacuum as it exceeds performance of my other 2 cordless stick vacs when it comes to ease of use (easy charging, easy to remove head, self-standing!), the lighted head, and ability to pick up larger debris.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear the PowerClean DualBrush stands out for its lightweight design, bright headlights, and ability to handle larger debris. Your feedback on corner cleaning and power level labeling is very helpful—we’ll keep that in mind for future improvements. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For reference, I am a mom of 2 toddlers with a German Shepherd Lab mix with mostly hard floors. We live in the country and are a shoes on in the house home (gross I know), so we’re constantly tracking in debris.
Pros -Really good suction (200 watt) for a stick vacuum and the AutoAdapt works nicely. Picked up everything from fine dirt/sand to Cheerios, rice, and other large crumbs (my other stick vacuum cannot pick up Cheerios and large crumbs and is 150 watt). -Left vacuum lines on both my rug and couch (my rug is short, but does have a thick carpet pad) -The best upholstery tool - has a brush in it which makes it collect dog hair so much better than other upholstery tools and even has its own built in light -Stands on its own -Excellent light - really shows how gross your floors are -No hair stuck in the rollers (as seen in one of the attached pictures) -Autoadapt helps save battery and has similar battery life to every stick vacuum I've used
Cons -Doesn’t do edging well with the regular vacuum head on it -Less maneuverable - harder to get into corners and doesn’t fit under my couch with the regular vacuum head -Heavier than other stick vacuums I’ve used (1.3 lbs heavier than my current stick vacuum)
When I received the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush I hadn’t vacuumed for 2 days with my other stick vacuum, and it picked up significantly more hair, dirt, etc than my other vacuum. For some it may not be as much of a downfall, but the heaviness and lack of maneuverability are the biggest letdowns. I would almost call it more of a hybrid between an upright and stick vacuum for that reason. I find my other stick vacuum reaches into smaller places and does the edging better, but the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush does an overall better job and the upholstery tool is the best I’ve used. I now find myself grabbing Bissell PowerClean DualBrush a majority of the time and my other stick vacuum for quick messes and any wall/ceiling cleaning. Overall a great vacuum at a great price point.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stick vacuum cleaner works like a charm! The vacuum was easy to assemble out of the package and I was surprised to see how well it stands up on its own, making it convenient to pause cleaning to move items or to go in and out of spaces with ease (unlike other stick vacuums I’ve tried). I didn’t realize how much I would appreciate this feature!
The standard base for the vacuum is large and substantial, making it a bit heavy to maneuver over carpet and around corners but also giving me confidence that the vacuum is covering surfaces fully.
As for performance, it does a great job on carpet and hardwood surfaces with a lot of power built in. I found myself eager for the higher power setting to kick in on carpet but for lightweight crumb cleaning, it gets the job done on low power.
I noticed that the canister fills up pretty quickly and is on the small side. I have a lot of pet hair to vacuum regularly so that requires me to empty the canister a few times in a cleaning but the release and empty feature of the vacuum is easy and user friendly so I don’t mind. Lastly, one thing I didn’t expect based on other stick vacuums I’ve owned is that the extra tools are stored on the wall mount instead of in the vacuum itself. This isn’t a bad thing necessarily, just a consideration when deciding where to house and charge the vacuum when not in use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a pet owner of several pets and a busy mother of 5, I’m always looking for the next best gear to help keep my house clean. I have to say I am impressed at the quality of this vacuum. First, the parts of this stick vacuum are high quality. The brushes are heavy duty, they are meant to last and handle all the hairs. The suction is powerful enough to pick up all the pet hair, small, and large crumbs from floor, rugs, and upholstery. Battery lasts enough for me to vacuum my whole house (running on low mode). Vacuum runs smoothly over all the different surfaces. I was surprised I was able to vacuum my high pile rug. It did an excellent job vacuuming my medium pile carpet. I felt it brought my carpet back to life. I feel the attachments are actually useful and are high quality. I really appreciate the self standing feature. This feature is especially useful when you have to stop vacuuming to pick up something or move something off the floor. I also like the light which helps you see how dirty your floors are. I would give 5 stars, but I feel the head a bit too bulky which made it hard to go under some furniture. However, the suctioning, and the overall quality of the vacuum makes up for this small detail.
