[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have one cat and two dogs, so keeping up with pet hair is a daily challenge, and this vacuum has been excellent so far. It picks up fur, dust, crumbs, and dirt very easily on both tile and rugs. The suction feels strong, and I really like how the AutoAdapt feature adds extra power when moving onto carpeted areas.
The vacuum is lightweight, easy to carry around the house, and simple to maneuver under furniture and around corners. I also love the self-standing design because I can quickly pause cleaning without leaning it against a wall.
The included attachments are very useful, especially for furniture and pet hair on upholstery. The lights on the brush head are also a great feature because they make it much easier to see dust and hair hiding on the floor.
Setup was quick, the vacuum looks sleek and modern, and the dust bin is easy to empty. Overall, this has been a great addition to our home and works especially well for homes with pets.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed about the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush was that it stands up by itself. I LOVE that it doesn't require a docking station and that I can park it without precariously leaning it against something. I also appreciate that the sound of the suction/motor is a lower-pitched tone compared to other stick vacuums I've used. It is much more pleasant to the ear. The vacuum is easy to use and auto adapts across multiple surfaces and soiled floors. While I can manually change the settings, I appreciate that I can rapid clean and trust the vacuum to know how to do its job. I have used it on kid food crumbs on hardwood, kitty litter on tile, pet hair on every surface, yard debris tracked throughout carpets, rugs, furniture. The brush heads do a great job of exfoliating filth from higher piled surfaces. I only have two complaints. First, the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is heavier than my typical stick vacuum- specifically top heavier at the motor/handle. This would not prevent me from purchasing, but worth noting. My main complaint is that the brush head is too big (in height) to fit under the kick plate of my cabinets. This is quite annoying compared to my other stick vac that fits under no problem. Overall. the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is an excellent option- especially if you're cleaning up kid and pet messes on multiple surfaces!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is a very nice vacuum. As a mom to both a toddler and a long haired dog, my floors are in a constant state of dishevelment. I own both a stick vacuum and a robot vacuum which get regular use and I was pleasantly surprised that the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush was able to find something to vacuum up! The vacuum itself is very light and stands up nicely without tilting or toppling over. I particularly like the mounting unit which both enables charging but also storage of the additional heads that come supplied for deeper and specific cleaning. The battery life is great and it charges pretty quickly if you do run out of juice mid clean. I like that you can charge both in the vacuum and by taking the battery out for more space constrained charging.
The AutoAdapt was a nice feature of this vacuum as someone that doesn't want to fuss with settings and has both tile flooring and rugs in the same room. It is a little difficult to maneuver so I did find that I had to really work on my technique to avoid a struggle but once you get the hang of it it becomes almost second nature.
Lastly, though I don't have a cat I do love the idea of the box turning into a cat cubby and appreciate that sustainability was front of mind from the design team!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for my home office. Except my husband keeps stealing it to use elsewhere in the house!
I'll start with the more mediocre aspect. Our #1 complaint is that there is no battery-level indicator while using the vacuum. It would be so nice to be able to see an indication of how much battery is left while using it, rather than waiting for it to die.
The suction doesn't perform better than our other stick vacuum or our regular vacuum. However, there are a few features on this Bissel that immediately made it our go-to vacuum anyway. For starters, we really benefit from the lights. Being able to highlight the pet hair in its path helps us to see where we need to steer it. The lights are awesome. Second, we love that it stands up on its own. Now, when we pause or stop, we don't have to walk to the nearest wall and lean it so it won't fall over and scrape the wall. When we first opened it, we wondered if the base of the vacuum would stick out too far to hang this on a wall behind a door. Nope! The base/foot can hang totally vertical so the whole thing can hang on the wall behind the door, out of sight till we need it.
The first few times I used the vacuum, I didn't ever realize it had an auto-adapt feature, but my husband noticed it. We have three dogs, so it doesn't take long to fill the canister with pet hair. We have to empty it two or three times on the length of one battery charge. But we know the smaller canister is one of the low-profile aspects of a stick vac.
It's super useful that the base can be removed and swapped for the smaller attachments. This is why it's perfect for my home office...... I can do the floors, some shelves, window sills and other areas with very little effort on my part. Everything just clicks together so easily, and stores away just as nicely. It's got a low profile as well, so I can get all the way under some pieces of furniture to vacuum beneath without having to move them.
We did not really like the last Bissell we tried (and gave away), so I wasn't sure what to expect with this one. But the fact that both humans in our house prefer to use it over the other (even more powerful) vacuums says a lot about this one.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush cordless vacuum is incredibly easy to assemble and set up in your home or office. After unboxing, it only took a few minutes to snap all the pieces together, and I was ready to start cleaning.
As a household with a newborn, toddler, and cat, we make a pretty big mess every day, and this cordless vacuum was just what we needed to be able to do a quick clean when things got chaotic. This vacuum handled the everyday messes easily without needing to go over the same spot more than once. I was surprised at how well it picked up cat hair and debris from both tile and carpet. After using it for several weeks, I was impressed by how it could grab the daily messes as well as debris that had been stuck in the corners.
There are many features I really like about this vacuum, but my favorite was how quiet it was when in use. With a skittish cat and a toddler who is afraid of loud noises, it was a relief to discover that this one is quiet enough that I can run it while everyone is around without a fuss!
I also really appreciated the different attachments this vacuum provides, especially the Furfinder Upholstery Tool. With a cat who sheds often, it was so nice to be able to quickly attach this tool and clean off the couches, chairs, and benches in our home. I could instantly tell that these seating areas were cleaner and ready for guests.
The self-standing feature of this vacuum is really nice when I have to stop and tend to something else around the house. I could easily set it upright and out of the way without having to find a safe place to store it where it wouldn't get knocked over by the toddler.
Lastly, I was shocked when the AutoAdapt feature kicked in with extra power when the mess was a bit more stubborn. I loved that it could detect areas that needed more attention without me needing to go over the same spot several times.
My only complaint is that while the head of the vacuum can twist to get into smaller areas, I do feel like I have to manually adjust it to the spot I want it to be in sometimes because it doesn’t turn as smoothly as I’d like when trying to reach tight nooks and crannies.
Overall, this is a fantastic cordless vacuum that can handle a messy life and be used for many years! It is durable, powerful, and provides several cleaning options to get into spaces both large and small.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've recently been on a bit of a vacuum journey... what do I want ? What really works for my current needs ? This is ticking all the boxes for me...Lights, check ! DUAL BRUSH ?! Never seen that before, but with a dog and 3 girls worth of hair, check ! Cordless, with a mountable charging station, check !
We are a multi surface household… Hardwood LVP, and carpet all on our main level. This can be a nightmare with three kiddos and a large shedding dog! I can use this vacuum for all of the different textures without having to change any settings or do a thing. My kitchen tends to have a lot of fine crumbs and the occasional dog kibble and then I head straight to the wall to walk carpet which is typically dog hair and dirt material. I am impressed with how it handle all the types of debris. The AutoAdapt caught me by surprise when I first tried it but I think it's pretty cool it knows when I need it the most. I'll take all the support I can get! The suction power is GREAT… I am a sucker for some lines in my carpet and this vacuum provides those crisp lines that satisfy me.
Overall, I think this is such a great value… I really appreciate that there is a mountable charging station. It also stands up on its own which is helpful because I'm always pausing to multitask. We have a split level house so I can bring it all over on one charge and stand it up as needed. Emptying is a breeze and it has a good capacity, never had to empty it in the middle of a clean. I am loving this as my new every day vacuum!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is our new go-to family vacuum! With four kids, five animals, and any number of friends tracking in dirt, we have high standards; this vacuum exceeded all of them. It is lightweight enough that mom and kids reach for it first both for downstairs and to carry up to bedrooms. We love the self-standing design, especially compared to other stick vacuums we have used that are constantly falling over or having to be leaned in awkward places. It is powerful enough to tackle messes on hard floors and carpets, and the AutoAdapt technology adds a boost when needed which is great for tackling bigger jobs. I love the headlight on the front, as it shows dirt in places I’ve never noticed before (it was a little embarrassing at first!) so I can get the house even cleaner. The charging station took less than five minutes to mount on the wall, and now it is so easy to pop the vacuum into place and be confident it is charging. Overall, this vacuum exceeded all expectations. With the bright headlight and easy to use charging station, I imagine it will quickly phase out the other brands we previously favored and used to think were sufficient!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mom who is at home a lot. There are two kids and a dog in our house and I can't tell you how many times I need to pull out a vacuum for messes. This vacuum has been the perfect addition to our cleaning lineup. I am truly impressed with how much it does for being a handheld. I use this thing almost daily and it's been so great for cleaning up a quick mess like sand from shoes, but it can also handle us using it to clean the entire downstairs or upstairs. We have a mix of hardwood and carpet/rugs and the way it transitions from each type of flooring is super impressive. The suction on the rugs especially is so great - especially having a dog that drags in leaves and dirt and hair.
A couple other features I really love is that it stands on its own, if I need to stop and do something in the middle of cleaning. The lights on head makes it so easy to see where I still need to vacuum. It also has great flexibility, meaning that I can lean it down and it will slide under couches/chairs/etc. The battery life and power has been the best of any stick vacuum I have tried. Truly such a good value for all the features this thing has. It is a work horse and I reach for it so often. Highly recommend if you have a busy house like ours!
