[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used other comparable products and noticed trade offs between however I was pleasantly impressed with this vacuum. We have a broom and wide microfiber sweeper that constantly delays you. We have a toddler who loves throwing food on the floor and 2 pre teens. We also have 2 dogs who shed. These floors are impossible! Until now.
Upon inspection I look for consumables, belts, filters, batteries, etc. I noticed a direct drive motor not just for the floor attachment but also the upholstery attachment (yassss!). The comb on the brush to help with entanglement is another win. The battery has a port on the battery itself, on the vacuum handle AND on the wall hanger for easy charging. Battery replacement upon research won’t set back your wallet like a lot of other products.
The softer bristles on the rollers allowed the best pickup action on pet hair I’ve ever used. I’ve accidentally sucked up napkins and dryers sheets like nothing. That’s when I noticed the autoadapt technology. It kicked up and picked up the dryer sheet without delay.
For once I can hit the whole house and not feel the grit on our bare feet. Which leads to the floor light. I never had a light and that’s a game changer with pet hair. You see EVERYTHING. No missed spots.
This is by far my favorite vacuum with a draw back. It doesn’t like rugs, and I feel it’s too soft for carpet. This vacuum excels on hardwood and tile floors. Trying to vacuum with a baby just learning how to walk your constantly interrupted so the self standing is amazing. The hinge on the steering the floor head is a sports car, I can drift around the dinning room chairs like Tokyo Drift.
Overall it’s the best vacuum I’ve ever had and I can complete 2200 st ft home with one battery and in 15 minutes. This allows us to do the floors daily!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum handles everyday messes like an absolute champ whether it's crumbs on the kitchen counter or pieces of cereal or dog food on the floor. The AutoAdapt technology works really well and kicks in with extra suction on our thicker rugs and carpet. I also really like the built-in light which helps me see dust bunnies under furniture and things I've missed in the dimly-lit parts of our house. I also appreciate how the self-standing design enables me to park the vacuum while I move things out of the way or get distracted by my kids. As far as value goes, the Bissell outperforms the last stick vac we purchased while also being significantly cheaper. Strong recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush overall. I have pets and kids, so I use my vacuum constantly for everything from fur to crumbs and everyday messes, and it has handled most of it really well. The suction is strong, especially on pet hair, and I love the lights on the bottom because they help me spot dust and fur I normally would miss.
One of my favorite features is how easily it converts into a handheld vacuum. The crevice attachment works amazingly for corners, couches, cars, and tight spaces. I also really liked the Fur Finder attachment for picking up pet hair and fur from furniture and fabric surfaces. It worked best for fur specifically rather than larger debris, but it still made a noticeable difference.
The AutoAdapt technology was helpful because I could feel the vacuum increase power when needed, especially moving between different floor types. I also appreciated the self-standing design since it made quick cleanups much more convenient without needing to lean the vacuum against something.
Compared to other stick vacuums I’ve tried, this one feels really lightweight and very practical for everyday use. Overall, I think it is a amazing value, especially for pet owners or busy households!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a pet parent of 2 extremely hairy pets, my home is constantly covered in pet fur, dirt, and anything else that gets tracked throughout the house. After using the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush vacuum cleaner, it’s safe to say that I can say goodbye to the constant layer of chaos that had been living on top of my floors! I love the fact that this vacuum is not only cordless, but it has the ability to stand upright on its own! I have family members who have other brands of cordless vacuums, but none of them stand upright on their own! It’s so helpful to be able to step away for a moment to pick something up or attend to something else and know that the cleaner isn’t going to come crashing down. It also has the ability to lay completely flat, making those hard to reach areas under the couch or bed finally reachable! I also love the “headlight” feature, that truly does illuminate dirt and debris so that you don’t miss a single crumb! The AutoAdapt feature really helps you get a deep, all around clean that a “one size fits all” vacuum cleaner just doesn’t get. The boosted mode helped me get a deeper clean on high-traffic areas. I love that this product comes with the FurFinder tool as well. It made cleaning the never ending amount of pet hair off of my furniture a breeze! I am giving this cleaner 4 stars, however, because I wish that the base mode was a bit stronger suction. I have used the cleaner to vacuum my car, and unfortunately I had to utilize the boosted mode the entire time because the base mode just wasn’t able to maintain the suction needed. I was surprised, however, how long the battery lasts, even on boosted mode! I was able to deep clean my car entirely on one battery, with some even to spare! I think that the overall value of the Bissell PowerClean is excellent, and is nearly half the price of other similar vacuums that have less capabilities than the Bissell! I highly recommend the PowerClean to anyone looking for an easy, more affordable and reliable clean!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is a very versatile and capable stick-style vac. The self-standing feature is unique, and a nice space saving feature. The product comes with a wall-mount bracket for storage which we are unable to use as we don't have a location suitable. Thus, the self-standing aspect is nice because it can stand in a corner without taking up much room. I also like that the battery can be removed for re-charging; this allows us to store the vacuum in a location without an outlet readily accessible and charge the battery elsewhere.
The primary attachment for general floor cleaning (the “motorized foot”) does a good job of picking up dust and dirt on multiple surfaces. We have used it on wood floors as well as rugs/carpets. For free-standing small rugs the suction power can be quite strong, and 'grab' the rug, requiring one foot to hold the rug in place while vacuuming, even on the low setting. The motorized food also includes a light, which is a very handy feature to see dirt/dust on the floor. The foot is quite large/bulky, which makes it good for large open spaces, but can be a challenge to maneuver in/around tight spaces between furniture. The large size of the foot, combined with the extension wand and the sturdy-build of the main vac body results in a relatively heavy vacuum for this style of product.
The vacuum includes an auto-adapt feature for suction, which is nice for transitioning between multiple floor surface types (e.g. wood floor to rugs). The manual adjustment between modes is also easily done, allowing for more power when needed.
The fur finder tool was very effective at getting our cat's fur off the sofa where she typically sleeps. It was gentle on the fabric, but able to extract the fur well. The 2-in-1 dusting brush attachment worked well for getting in corners with the brush feature, however, the vac is relatively heavy even with just this small attachment. Not so heavy as to be un-usable, but not quite as handy as a small hand-vac for this type of application.
The dirt tank is easy to remove, however, the design can result in some dust/dirt getting on your hands when emptying due to the 2-piece design and the shaking required to get dust off/out.
Overall the vacuum is easy to use, and performs well for general cleaning applications. While it is a bit heavier than other stick vacs I’ve used, the added features provide some nice benefits the others didn’t have.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With 3 young kids and a cat I rely heavily on my vacuums and this one did not disappoint. It’s a great combo of a workhorse and stick vacuum. It’s not quite as easily maneuvered as other stick vacuums I’ve tried, but what it lacks in maneuverability it makes up for in power. The amount of fine dirt and dust it pulled out of a carpet I vacuumed every day with a much more expensive vacuum was both impressive and repulsive. The dual brushes and the headlight are game changers for my wood floors, there was way more cat hair than I could see and the headlight makes it easy to not miss a spot.
The AutoAdapt is really nice because quite frankly I don’t want to have to pick up bigger debris before I vacuum. Things that would normally cause a clog instead trigger a little boost to make sure everything gets into the canister. The self standing feature is probably not something I’ll use often, but it’s a nice bonus just in case.
Overall, it’s a really good vacuum. I have multiple vacuums to suit my needs, but if you just want one this is a great option. The battery lasts and it cleans really well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is great at cleaning both big and small messes, but it really shines on rugs, carpet and upholstery. The headlights on the front of both the vacuum and the pet hair remover really help you get ALL the hair up. On wood floors, where the floor meets the wall, there’s a small part of the floor that is missed by the vacuum - maybe because of the headlights? I have to approach walls with the side of the vacuum to really get into those tight edges, which is why I didn’t give this 5 stars. It’s very helpful that the vacuum stands up on its own, it makes for really easy storing. Everything is very intuitive, it’s easy to quickly change attachments and take the extension arm off or put it on. On upholstery (specifically couches and chairs) it really kicks into high gear when it senses hair and that’s where this product really shines. Overall I think it’s a great vacuum for the price point. Other high end vacuums I’ve owned don’t perform nearly as well on carpet, rugs, and upholstery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We’re glad to hear how well the BISSELL PowerClean® DualBrush machine performs on carpets, rugs, and upholstery. We’re sorry about the edge-cleaning experience on hard floors; angling the machine slightly or using the side of the brush roll, as you mentioned, can help reach those tight edges more effectively. Your feedback is valuable and helps us continue improving our machines. If you’d like additional tips or support, our team is always happy to help at support.bissell.com.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With two kids and a dog, messes are a part of everyday life! Between dog hair, food on the floor, and craft scraps falling on the floor daily, I always felt like I was on the floor picking something up. The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush does a great job of cleaning all the dog hair and crumbs that I had no idea were even there. Even the larger pieces that I could see were no match for the suction. The vacuum also did a great job of picking up small pieces of paper, cardboard, dirt and lint. It easily adapted to the different floor types in my house—from tile to rugs to my carpet. I didn’t have to change any settings or push extra buttons—even though they were there if I needed to. My favorite feature of the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is the self-standing design. Finally, a stick vacuum that I don’t have to mount! It is perfect to stash in my laundry room and pull out when I need for quick cleanup! I also love the lights on the front of the vacuum. They are some of the brightest I have seen on recent vacuums and really help target any messes. I was able to find dog hair I didn’t even know was there thanks to them! Overall, I really liked the features in the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush. I thought this was a great vacuum for my family and helped maintain the chaos cleanup after mealtimes!
