[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush vacuum is perfect for our two person plus a dog household. We have a mix of hardwood and carpet, the Bissell worked well on both surfaces to pick up everyday messes like mulch the dog tracked in. The attachment worked wonderfully to capture the dog hair on our couch and bedspread, too. On the carpet, the AutoAdapt function kicked in to give it a bit more power and make it easier to maneuver. On a single charge I can vacuum every room without compromising power. I also love the self standing feature so I can store it in the laundry room without having to mount it or lean it against something a fear it toppling over. I’ve tried other stick vacuums but the Bissell is going to be my new favorite for its cleaning power and ease of use. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this product to test and review.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your a mom, this vacuum is great. I have another stick vacuum and this keeps up just fine. The dustbin is even bigger.
The self standing feature sounds small, but its been HUGE for me. I can just stop wherever I am, leave it standing, go grab my baby, and come back right to it. Not having to find a wall to lean it on is a game changer.
It handles everyday messes really well and the light on one of the attachments helps you see dust you'd otherwise miss. Going from hardwood to my area rug was a little tricky sometimes, and I had to slightly lift the vacuum, but I've noticed that with every vacuum I've owned... so maybe its my area rug or just the nature of stick vacuums.
The price is totally fair. You're getting a lot of great features without paying a crazy premium. I let my infant play on the floor after only using this vacuum.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using a competitor's brand for about 10+ years and haven't had to replace it. Boy, were we missing out in the next generation of vacuum technology. We love our new Bissell. It's almost as if nothing was really getting picked out of the rugs previously, it is that noticeable of a difference. I can't give it 5 stars because I don't know if there's something else better out there, but it's working great for us. I love how it self stands.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is okay. It picks up dirt and debris.
However, battery life doesn't last too long. I was not able to complete my entire one floor without the battery dying out and needing a recharge.
Also, while I love the stand up feature, it is slightly top heavy. My toddlers have knocked it over twice in passing accidently.
Overall it is a good small, quick grab vacuum, but it can't be my every day heavy duty full clean vacuum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry the battery life and top‑heavy balance didn’t work well for your home, especially with little ones around. This machine is best suited for quick cleanups, and shorter run time can occur on higher power settings. If you’d like help checking battery performance or exploring other BISSELL options, our team is happy to help at support.bissell.com.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried several different stick vacs, from this brand and others, and this one has been one of the best. I love the AutoAdapt technology which kicks up the power when there’s more dirt to handle. It seems more powerful than others because it can get all the dirt out of the little crevasses in my entryway mat which always seems to resist the vacuum. I think it really does have almost the same suction power as a standard vac.
I enjoy the self standing design which helps immensely with finding storage places. The light is also super helpful for finding areas that need attention, even when it looks clean the light shows the truth.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already had the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder and loved it so I was excited to try this vacuum as well. It has all the same attachments as the FurFinder (including the FurFinder upholstery tool, which was a lifesaver for both my couches and car), but I prefer the motorized foot on this DualBrush. It has bright headlights that make it easy to see little dog hairs, and the dual brushes do a much better job at picking up bigger pieces of debris, like dog food, than other stick vacuums. Additionally, this vacuum works well on our thick carpets in the bedrooms. Battery life is long enough to vacuum a whole floor of the house, and the auto adapting suction gives you extra power when you need it while conserving battery life.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have two rambunctious children and three dogs, two of which blow their coats when the season changes. It’s that time of year and there is fur EVERYWHERE in the house. Our house has wood floors on the main level with rugs and it carpeted on the steps and in most rooms upstairs. All three dogs drop hair constantly but it is overwhelming in the spring each year. I have tried other vacuums that are great at getting the fur out of the carpet but they scratch my wood floors when used downstairs…that’s a no go. I have never had a vacuum either that has good enough suction but doesn’t stall out with our washable runners or any of our washable rugs either (which is all of them on the main floor). Every other vacuum has too much power and the bristles stop rolling, meaning I could never get them cleaned properly. So, I’ve been through a lot of vacuums! Let me just say that the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush solved all of these issues. It has a velour like material on the stick vacuum attachment that won’t scratch your floor but does get all the hair and crumbs left behind by children, pets, everyday living. It rolls over my washable runners and rugs and gets them clean too. The light on both the stick vacuum attachment and the hand vacuum attachment is bright, so much so that you will be embarrassed by all the dust and floating furballs your eyes didn’t see at first. Also, the auto adapt power is amazing..it bumps the suction up to a higher setting when it detects a larger concentration of mess-how cool is that?! The feeling of satisfaction I get when cleaning the hard to see messes gives me a real sense that everything is actually…clean. I am able to get under couches and large furniture pieces, on top of upholstered items, the carpeted steps and with the crevice tool-all the tight corners and hard to get spaces. I have used this vacuum multiple times a day over the last two weeks to try and keep up with the great shed and it has handled the challenge like champ. My favorite features include the self-standing design, the bright lights, auto adapt power, and the removable battery for easy charging (SO GOOD!!!). I don’t have space on my main floor to drill in the included charging docking station but that self standing design is perfect for storing in my front closet and I remove the battery and charge it in the kitchen when it needs it. This vacuum is adaptable if you are short on space to store it. There are a few things I noticed over the last couple of weeks that are important to point out too. Because I am using it a lot with high concentration of fur, the auto adapt power was kicking in a lot. This did reduce my battery charge quite a bit- but the mess got picked up efficiently. The holding tank is also a bit on the small side and I had to empty it a bit more than other vacuums I have owned. However, emptying it and maintaining it is very easy-so not a big deal for me, but worthy of a mention. Overall, this vacuum is everything I needed to tackle the job of maintaining clean surfaces amidst the combined force of a few kids and a small pack of dogs. I have been through so many different vacuums and I can finally say that this one does it all and does it well. If you struggle with pet hair, hardwood floors getting scratched or washable rugs not getting cleaned right…do yourself a favor and take a good look at this Bissell. It is definitely worth it and comes in at a good value for all that it offers. I highly recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: 1. This vacuum performed well over both hard floors as well as carpet. This vacuum even transitioned well from rug to carpet without any issues. 2. This vacuum sucked up larger items like food crumbs without issue. The rollers do not have hard bristles, so this vacuum sucked up small sand particles much better than my other stick vacuum. It also has great lights on the main vacuum and the upholstery attachment. 3. The vacuum has an AutoAdapt technology that increases the power to the vacuum when it senses the need for it. This came in handy, with kids and pets there is always plenty of dirt to clean up. It is also nice if you accidently run over an entry rug as it will reduce the power or shut off so that it doesn't get tangled. 4. This stick vacuum has an incredibly sturdy self-standing design, much better than my other stick vacuum. My other stick vacuum falls over so I need to lean it against the wall for support. This vacuum easily supports itself upright. 5. This vacuum comes with great attachments. I really like that the wand and dust brush are one piece for ease of use and storage. I also liked the upholstery which is actually great for stairs! 6. The dirt container is adequate size and is easy to empty. 7. Overall, this stick vacuum is a much nicer vacuum than the other brand I own.
Cons: 1. The battery does not last very long, especially when running it on a higher setting. I wish this stick vacuum could come with an additional battery for bigger vacuuming jobs.
