[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] "10 out of 10, no notes", as the kids say. I could not love this vacuum more. It easily picks up tiny crumbs and larger debris (that other vacuums have missed), but I especially love the light feature on the bottom of the vacuum so I can see *exactly* how filthy my floors are, and ensure I do a great clean. I also love the self standing feature so when I go to empty the container of the dirt (super simple and quick to do), I dont have to rest it against a wall and risk it falling down. This newer model also has a *great* battery life, so I'm able to vacuum all of my downstairs without it running out of charge. Highly recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are so happy with this vacuum! We are a house of 4 pets and 2 young toddlers - to say we have daily messes is an understatement. The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush vacuum though is able to keep up and then some! We used this vacuum for everyday messes after meals, crafts, and generic animal fur as well as larger unexpected messes. We were pleasantly surprised when the vacuum had zero trouble picking up full cereal pieces and other bits of food off the floor.
Some features that set this vacuum apart from other vacuums we have previously owned includes the AutoAdapt feature, the ability to transition without problem across different floor surfaces, and the self-standing feature. The AutoAdapt feature always kicked in when I needed it most (such as deep, larger messes). It also was able to sense when I transitioned from floor textures (hardwood floors to carpet to rugs). Previous vacuums had scratched our hardwood floors but the Bissell vacuum had zero problems on our floors! Lastly, the self standing feature is a life saver. No more loud crashes from your vacuum falling over. It may seem like a small feature but the ability to set your vacuum anywhere is a relief - especially with young kids who are sensitive to loud bangs.
Overall, this vacuum is worth investing in. For houses with pets and/or children - I would say this beats out any other vacuum we have tried. I am incredibly happy with everything it provides and would own another Bissell in the future!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this vacuum to clean both a truck covered in dirt and dog hair and a home housing 3 hairy dogs and 4 children who love snacks. This vacuum is way better quality than a previous stick vacuum I've tried. The plastic feels sturdier and the main tube feels like metal instead of plastic. The vacuum can stand up on it's own which is awesome if you have to pause in the middle of cleaning, but if you bump into it with much force, it will fall. I'm grateful that it came with a wall mount. It looks pretty easy to install as long as you mount it on a stud or use the anchors. The wall mount allows you to plug the charger cable into itself and the wall so you can charge the vacuum while stored - I think it's a super helpful feature, especially for a busy mom like me. You can also remove the rechargeable battery pack for charging if needed. It is bigger than previous battery packs I've used, but definitely an acceptable size since the extra battery power it provides makes it a better vacuum. The roller head has two rollers, a brush roll and a carpet roll. It also has a light on the front of the roller head that is helpful in lower light and if you are vacuuming underneath something. I don't think you can turn it off, but that might be a nice feature to have. The roller head is pretty flat and smooth so it can fit under most couches - it also has great maneuverability for turning smoothly. For the handheld option, you can choose between two different tools, an upholstery cleaner or an angled crevice tool that has a sliding brush attached. The brush part stays in the correct spots as intended, but it is pretty small so it'll take quite a bit of elbow grease for big, hairy messes. The length of the handheld with the attachment seems a little long to me for small, narrow spaces. For harder to reach spots, you can attach the main vacuum tube. I preferred the crevice tool to the brush as the suction was better when using it. Cleaning the car went well, but there were still some places I couldn't reach, which is understandable and reasonable. The upholstery tool was great! I've never had one before, but it worked really well at getting the pet hair off the furniture between having a brush part and a rubber part on the roller. The adaptable suction was an interesting feature and took a little bit to get used to. I think that's it's a cool idea and hopefully I can get a better feel of how well it works as time goes on. The suction power on normal mode was fine, it sucked up quite a lot of hair, which was the goal, but I did have to go over the carpet two or three times. It's not a miracle worker since I'm sure there is still dog hair embedded into the carpet that will never make it's way out, but I might feel confident enough to try sitting on the floor in black pants. Turbo power mode was pretty effective but also definitely wore down the battery quickly, so I couldn't use it for a whole house clean. It isn't too heavy, but it may be hard for kids to hold and maneuver for very long. The debris tank was the easiest I've ever had to dump and it never got clogged. Putting it back into the vacuum was a little odd as I had to push harder than I thought to click it in, but it's easy to do after a few times. It's pretty quiet for a vacuum, which is a nice extra feature. So far, I love this vacuum and can see myself using it every day.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My most favorite part is the removable battery! I've had other stick vacuums and they always inevitable die when the battery goes out, and it's too complicated to replace the battery and so you have to replace the whole vacuum. I think this is going to solve for that!
The motorized floor head is bigger than some of the other brands competitors, but that's actually why it performs so well on carpet. It really digs in and picks things up. and of course it does great on hard floors. The other attachments work great as well.
It swivels well and gets around furniture without a fight. it is a bit heavier than others so I don't reach for it to use all the time for quick counter clean up, I find myself using it all the time for quick floor pickups and to get bigger messes off the dinner table.
Overall I'm really happy with it. The performance is there, and the battery situation seems promising!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush cordless vacuum for about a week now, and so far I’m really impressed with it. My favorite feature? The fact that it stands on its own instead of needing to lean against something… why is this not standard across the market!? Seems like such a small thing, but it has truly been a GAME CHANGER! The dual brush system works well at picking up without constantly needing multiple passes and the suction seems stronger compared to other cordless vacs I’ve used in the past. For more high traffic areas, the auto-adapt technology is a great feature. It can sense bigger messes and you can feel the extra power kick in without having to toggle back and forth between low/high power settings, which I love. It works great on both hardwood and carpeted areas and picks up particles as small as dust as well as larger crumbs and debris. One negative, though, is that the dust bin fills up rather quickly, especially if you have pets, so I am having to empty after almost every use. The battery life even while using the highest power settings has really impressed me. I have a mid sized 2-story home with both carpeted and hardwood surfaces and I have been able to vacuum every room in the house on one charge! It is a tad bulky, but given the aerodynamics and its ability to stand on its own, I’d take that over it being a tad heavier any day. I also like the charging and storage features. I am able to store it out of sight but still charge with ease! Overall, I give it five stars because the actual cleaning performance is excellent for the price. It feels sturdy and could not be easier to use. It’s been a really solid vacuum and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a cordless option.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush for a couple of weeks now and I can’t be happier with this stick vacuum. I have 2 cats that shed a lot and are constantly tracking kitty litter around the house , plus a messy toddler and an even messier infant and this vacuum has been a massive help keeping the mess under control. First off it is a very clean, sleek looking design, not super bulky, but feels heavy duty enough to last for years. It does stand upright on its own, but I chose to use the wall mount and have it mounted in my utility area. It is a little tricky to get on the base like this, but I recommend mounting it lower on the wall than I did and that may help. With 2 kids and 2 cats in the house I use this vacuum on a daily basis, between cat hair, litter, crumbs and snacks spilled on the floor the Bissell picks everything up with ease. The ingenious design of the headlights light up even the smallest grains, and shows cat hair and dust that i never even imagined was there!! Living on a gravel road the dust on my floors is a constant battle, but the DualBrush technology picks up the biggest to the smallest piece of dirt. This vacuum has an AutoAdapt technology that kicks up the power of the suction when a large area of mess and dirt is detected, this technology makes it easy to pick up everything. The battery life on a full charge is not the greatest, I tend to run it at the higher speed since I have wood floors and it lasts maybe 20-25 minutes, if you have a smaller house you could probably vacuum the whole house, I however have to recharge it in order to clean every room. This vacuum comes with upholstery attachments too that click into place on the wall charger so that everything looks neat and tidy. This part of this vacuum is also a game changer! With kids and pets it easily cleans crumbs and pet hair from the couch leaving it fuzz and mess free. I’ve had stick vacuums in the past, including another Bissell stick vacuum and this one is definitely the best so far. It is less expensive than other brands, that I have found to be less superior, so if you are looking for an affordable option that has just as good if not better job performance then the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is the way to go….affordability meets superior job performance all in one package.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely loving this vacuum in my chaotic house of three boys! It stands perfectly by itself and lives in the corner of our dining room for easy access for the constant clean-up that is needed. It comes with a nice looking wall hook that will charge it too, but I haven't found a good spot to hang it yet so we just remove the battery to charge it when needed. I do love the design of the removable battery though, because it makes this possible vs having to plug in the whole vacuum.
I haven't found anything so far that it can't handle, whether small or big, and it works just as well on both my carpet and hard floors. It has an AutoAdapt feature that helps automatically give more suction when needed, which seems to work well overall while vacuuming the various textured floors in our house. I also like the fact that I can manually change the power if needed for tougher messes. The battery life is okay. It works well for what I use it for, but I don't think it would last long enough to fully vacuum my whole house in one go. I like still having my normal heavy duty, corded vacuum for that, but I also love having this cordless lightweight vacuum that I can easily grab at a moments notice for everyday messes.
It comes with a few attachments that have been extremely helpful, like a crevice tool and mini brush roller for furniture and such. I've used both the mini roller and the regular vacuum roller on my stairs and both seemed to do a great job. It's even easier to use because I could take out the long middle piece of the handle and just connect the top vacuum part to either of the roller parts to make it more manageable on the stairs. My two year old also loves to use the vacuum that way and it's the perfect size for him to help around the house with!
I use this vacuum way more than I thought I might. I think the DualBrush feature is very helpful, especially on carpet, and this vacuum definitely has more suction and pickup power than a different model stick vacuum I own that only has the single brush roller. Overall I am in love with the power and ease of use of this vacuum and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've really been enjoying using this vacuum! As someone who has to vacuum daily (dog hair), this vacuum has been great on my hardwood and carpet. The auto adapt suction is so so handy because with my old stick vacuum you have to manually change the setting each time I rolled over a carpet. More often than not, I would just leave it on the high setting and wouldn't be able to vacuum the entirety of my home without it dying half way through. With the auto adapt the battery life last the entire house and there's no fumbling with a button. There are two reasons I took off a star. The first is that the height of the vacuum head is too tall to go under shelving or furniture. So you have to change attachments to get those hard to reach areas that collect the most dirt. However I prefer using the vacuum head because the nozzle head doesn't collect the dust that's spread all across the floor under furniture and only really sucks up clumped up fur. The second reason I took off a star is because the self standing is annoying if you decide to hang the vacuum on the wall. In order for it to be flush to the wall you have to manually flip the head down every time you hanging it up. Personally, one of the main reasons someone would get a stick vacuum is to save space and hang it on a wall. So the self standing is just unnecessary and actually a negative. Overall, I do really like it and it will be replacing my way too expensive stick vacuum. Hopefully it lasts for many years.
