[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush vacuum handles both large and small messes, alike. For context, I am a part-time SAHM, late 30's, one child and one dog. My house is all hardwood and we have many rugs. It has been a challenge to get dirt/sticks/food/etc out of our more textured rugs.. until I started using this vacuum. The Bissell PowerClean has AutoAdapt tech where it can sense bigger messes and kicks into a more powerful mode. No idea how it does this, but 100 percent can attest that it does because the power light changes colors and your hear the vacuum going into turbo gear.
My favorite feature are the bright LED lights that illuminate debris that I would have otherwise missed. Perfect for pet hair and kitchen crumbs.
Other stick vacuums I have purchased kind of wobble when left standing and usually end up crashing to the ground, this vacuum has a nice wide paddle and I've yet to find it tipped over, even when my 2 1/2 year old is around.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is seriously impressive. The best cordless one I’ve owned so far (I’ve owned another cordless Bissell model and two other well known brands). I have a toddler, a golden retriever and a very hairy husband and we have to vacuum constantly. Here’s my honest rundown: The suction is honestly exceptional for a cordless vacuum. Pretty sure I suctioned up enough dog hair to recreate a second dog. The battery lasts cleaning all of our rooms at normal power (3 small bedrooms, kitchen and living room). It worked great on our carpet, hardwood, rugs, couches, etc. The swivel foot maneuvers so smoothly on our hardwood and carpet. Also, It’s not too loud so I’m able to vacuum while my toddler naps. If I had to nitpick: The canister is small and can fill up fast. Not a problem if you’re mostly doing 1-2 rooms at a time. The self standing feature makes up for this slight inconvenience. The AutoAdapt power level is nice for our hardwood floors. I like it, but I could probably live without it. In my humble opinion, I love it and I would pick this one again over any other cordless vacuum on the market right now. I even convinced my mother-in-law to get it. P.S. The dirt tank is super easy to put back in. Just line it up, hold the button, and it should click right into place.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is incredible. I truly am so impressed with how it compares to other, pricier brands. The light is amazing, it helps so much to spot dirt and debris. I have two dogs and three toddlers, so I KNOW mess. I battle hair and crumbs on a daily basis and let me tell you, the suction and cleaning power is truly top-notch. The battery lasts a great amount of time, I could vacuum my whole downstairs thoroughly, which I haven’t been able to do with other vacuums. It easily transitions from wood to carpet and is great on both. I also really love the stand upright feature, it’s very convenient when needing to pause cleaning to pick up something. All around great vacuum, I have been a Bissell fan for years but would definitely recommend this one to anyone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my old stick vacuum, but after trying the Bissel PowerClean Dual Brush I’ll never choose a different stick vacuum.
The suction is solid; I am really impressed with the technology that allows it to auto adjust power based on how soiled the surface is.
I also really appreciate how bright the light is! It revealed my golden retriever’s stray hairs and dish far better than any vacuum I’ve owned before and made vacuuming even more satisfying. See photos for unlit floor, vacuum light on, and after one pass.
That it stands on its own is a huge plus! No more leaning against something and hoping it doesn’t crash if I need to attend to my kids mid-vacuuming.
I love that the battery detaches for charging instead of having to lug the entire top portion of the vacuum to the outlet.
Another detail I love is the brush that slides up, giving two attachments in just one piece.
It’s easy to operate, easy to charge, easy to empty, and does a really good job in my home with two kids, a long haired dog, and varying surfaces (laminate flooring, carpet, and rugs).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a current Bissell PowerClean owner, and several other Bissell products, I can attest that this PowerClean DualBrush lives up to everything that Bissell is known for and more! The standard brush roll on this device is much bigger than our other PowerClean vacuum, as you can see in the pics, and the headlights are amazing! Another pro is the FurFinder upholstery tool brush roll! This attachment literally sucked up the hair from our couch, including mine and my daughter’s, which at times is worse than pet hair! That tool even has headlights too, which was so helpful for our dark fabric couch! The crevice tool is also wonderful! I have always been frustrated with the 2-in-1 crevice tools because it would scrape up our floors when in brush mode but this one fully covers so no scratches!! The headlights are amazing! It is relatively lightweight, too! My only con and the reason for 4 stars is the suction! Granted we’ve had a dog and 2 girls in our household so our floors are almost always dirty but I did have to take a few passes before it picked up everything. In transparency, that was on the lowest suction but still. Overall, I would recommend this vacuum for any pet owners or even any mom of girls!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for the great review, Heidi! We’re so glad you’re loving the accessories—especially the FurFinder™ tool and headlights—and that they’re making pet and family cleanup easier. We appreciate your feedback on suction at the lowest setting and recommend using a higher mode for heavier messes. If you ever need tips or support, our team is happy to help at support.bissell.com.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum comes with 3 different vacuum head options/extensions for different surfaces - one for floors, one that would get smaller or hard to reach surfaces, and one that you could use to clean cracks like inside of a car. The main floor vacuum head has two layers to catch things, and large surface area.
It takes about 3 hours to fully charge the vacuum, and run time depends what mode/ intensity you use. It comes with a wall mount, but you can charge with our without the wall mount, either plugging in the wall mount as a charging station or plugging the vacuum directly into an outlet.
I like that you don't have to hold down button to operate, as this makes it much easier on thumb than other stick vacuums where you have to hold down the button the entire time you're vacuuming. There are 3 modes of intensity, and the vacuum automatically switches between these modes depending on detected level of dirt, but you can also manually change it. The low mode, eco mode, is very quiet, but does not seem as effective as the 2 higher modes. It has automatic running lights that help to see dirt and turn on/off depending on the lighting of the room and area.
Another perk compared to other stick vacuums is that it can stand up on it's own when not in use.
It seems to work slightly better on hard surfaces than it does on carpet, but I have 2 shedding dogs and a toddler and it was able to pick up quite a bit. I spend most of my cleaning time on the highest intensity which drains the battery quickly.
There's a nice filter in the collection bin. The parts are easy to take apart and put back together, just one click. The bin is also easy to empty.
Overall a high quality product that cleans well - the only thing that leaves a bit to be desired is the battery life.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have two kids under 6, a 70lb dog, and two cats, so I’m always looking for things to make keeping our floors cleaner. The two things that I immediately noticed about this vacuum were how quick it was to put together (under 30 seconds) and the fact that it stands up by itself rather than needing to awkwardly lean it up against the wall if I have to pick something up or move a rug.
The two brushes really do make a difference. I noticed a significant amount more fur picked up than with my older stick vacuum, and the lights worked well to highlight spots I’d missed on the bare floor. The adaptive feature is nice, particularly when switching from hardwood to area rugs and back.
The other piece I found myself using a lot is the upholstery attachment- I’ve vacuumed the couch maybe more in the last couple weeks than in the last couple months because of how easy it is to attach on. Only thing I’ve found finicky is getting the charging plug in and out, but I haven’t installed the included wall mount, which I imagine would make it easier.
Overall, definitely happy with this as something I can easily stick in the corner of any room to grab when I need it and keep things tidy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 4 young kids and a short hair dog, messes are bound to happen and I don’t have a ton of time to keep up on them. This vacuum definitely helps me keep on top of the crumbs and pet hair. My favorite aspect is the light. It shows every piece of fur, diet, sand, and food crumbs on a hard surface floor. The suction does a great job of cleaning it all up. It also works well on carpet, I’m embarrassed to admit how much it picked up the first time I used it. The auto adapt helps change the suction depending on what is needed and saves the battery.
I enjoy the power button instead of having to keep my finger on a switch the entire time. I also appreciate that it will stand on its own and I don’t have to lean it in a corner or against something.
There are multiple attachements serving different purposes. Easy for furniture or stairs too!
I would buy this one again and think it’s comparable or even better than other stick vacuums I have used. The light, auto adapt, and ease of use make it an easy buy! Also love the box recycling for a cat home!
I would recommend this to a friend!
