[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holy pet hair Batman. I have an Australian Shepard and it’s coat blowing season which is the best time of year. NOT. The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush was compact, self standing and powerful. Like when you look at it you don’t think powerful. But sucker packs a punch. Pun intended. The auto adapt technology worked no matter what surface I had it on. Hardwoods, laminate or rug I was golden. I really liked the self standing design so if I needed to pause vacuuming to pick up something I didn’t have to lay it down then stand back up and all that. It was a back saver. The weight of the vacuum was super comfortable and ergonomic.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome vacuum. It tackled all my messes from large debris, fine dust and pet hair. The double roller fuction works so well at getting all the dust and dander from my vinyl flooring. The rollers also did a great job at not getting hair wrapped around them. I was nervous at first, the one roller has a soft velvet feel to it and I thought for sure it would get gross with dirt and hair. After using it for some time it still looks new! The AutoAdapt is an especially great fuction. I seamlessly went from vinyl to rugs to carpet with no issues at all and as soon as there was a "bigger" mess it would sense it and automatically add more suction as needed. The self standing fuction is great for when you may need to stop to move or pick up something or just walk away for a moment. Not having to worry about it falling over or placing it somewhere is so nice. I only have two small complaints. The first being that when using the vacuum on carpet it seemed to get pretty loud. The second being compared to other stick vacuums I have used, it seems to maybe have a slight suction error when butting up to hard surfaces. Such as in the kitchen crumbs always seem to find their way right against the baseboards. With other stick vacuums I have no problem getting right in there to get them head on. But with this one it seems to have a harder time creating the right amount of suction to get the crumbs right up against the baseboard. I did find however it did a pretty decent job of getting all the crumbs if I could use the side of brush head, but in some areas it's just not possible to do that. Overall with all the attachments and this is a comparable stick vacuum to others. Giving it a slight edge up with its double rollers and AutoAdapt technology. Would definitely recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush vacuum has so many great features that I love, but it also has some quirks that keep me from reaching for this vacuum as much as I'd like.
The Good:
The self standing feature is excellent and very convenient when you need to stop vacuuming for a few seconds to move items out of the way.
The headlights do, indeed, illuminate more dirt, debris, dust, and hair than I've seen from any other vacuum.
For a vacuum that does not have a dedicated edge cleaning system, it does and impressive job of cleaning along baseboards and cabinets.
Self-cleaning brush roll really does stay clean. DualBrush Technology is nice as it makes it simple to go from hard surface to carpets without the need to make any manual adjustments.
The 'Meh':
AutoAdapt Technology is a great feature and it does work well. The problem I have with it is tjat the sensors need to be cleaned often in order for it to work properly and effectively. On more than one instance I've had to clean the sensors towards the end of a vacuum session because the indicator light kept blinking red.
It would be nice if the wall dock acted as a charger, so that the unit starts charging immediately when it's docked. I do like having to manually plug and unplug the charger form the unit. The self standing feature makes this less annoying, but I still there should be the option to plug the charging cord into the dock, thereby making the dock itself the charger.
The dual brushes do pick up dirt, dust, fur, and debris quite well, but not as well as marketed. I often times have to run a piece of kibble or cereal over a couple of times before it will get sucked up. Not all the time, but enough times to stand out to me.
This one may be a bit nit-picky, but I feel like the power button and the suction button should be flip-flopped. I find myself changing the suction level when I think I'm turning the unit off and I turn the unit off when I'm trying to change the suction levels. This may just be a 'me issue', but I feel like the power button is typically the top button.
The Bad:
This vacuum is marketed for pet hair ... lots of pet hair. If you're vacuuming up lots of pet hair, the AutoAdapt Technology is going to kick in a lot, reducing the already poor 50 minute battery life. I'm lucky if I get 30 mins out of a full battery ... and then it takes 3 HOURS to charge. 3 hours for 30 mins ... ugh!
Last, but certainly not least. In fact, it's a deal breaker for me. This vacuum is marketed for lots of pet hair, but I've found it's not that great with pet hair. If I'm cleaning up after dogs that have been in a room for a little while and have left some hair behind, it works flawlessly. However, if cleaning up after dogs that have been in a house all day, you'll be going in circles endlessly trying to clean up all the hair. The headlights will illuminate all of the pet hair gloriously. You'll move the vacuum forward over said pet hair and then back again. You'll marvel at how it's all been sucked up ... but then if you move the vacuum forward a little bit, turn it around, you'll notice a bunch of hair you thought was sucked up was actually "spit" out the back and on to the carpet. I'll include pictures to show this. Here is what I THINK is happening. The vacuum head has microfiber like strips along each side of the rollers and a long one behind the rollers (think thin lint brush like strips). I think a lot of hair gets caught in the long strip behind the roller and builds up so much until it falls off onto the floor. You vacuum up the fur bomb that was left behind only to turn the vacuum around to find another fur bomb being illuminated. You vacuum that one up and then there's another ... it's like an endless cycle until 30 minutes is up and the battery dies and then you grab your full size vacuum to finish the job. I find myself hesitant to reach for the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush for this reason. I don't want to be chasing fur bombs, I want to clean up hair quickly and efficiently.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Bruce, thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear the pet hair pickup, battery life, and AutoAdapt performance made cleaning more frustrating than expected, especially in a busy home with pets. Regularly cleaning the sensors, brush area, and rear lint strips can sometimes help improve performance, but our support team would be happy to look into this further with you. Please reach out to us at support.bissell.com so we can help.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush for almost two weeks and it has quickly become my go-to vacuum for everyday cleaning. It handles both small crumbs and larger messes really well, making it perfect for quick cleanups around the house. I also love the design. It stands up on its own, which is super convenient, but it also comes with a wall-mounted rack so you can store it securely without worrying about it getting knocked over. I keep mine in the hallway closet, and it’s so easy to grab whenever there’s a mess. The built-in lights are another great feature, making it incredibly easy to spot hard-to-see hairs and dust hidden on hardwood floors. Another feature I really appreciate is how easily it cleans furniture using the upholstery cleaner attachment. It picks up dust, hair, and debris from couches and chairs effortlessly, which makes a big difference in keeping everything looking fresh. The long handle is great as well to reach those cobwebs way up on the ceiling. Overall, this vacuum is incredibly convenient, easy to use, and does a great job for everyday cleaning. It’s a great value and fits perfectly into a busy household.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I opened my new Bissell I was immediately appreciative of the thoughtful packaging. There was minimal plastic, just for the extra accessories and the box can be turned into a cat cubby which could be cool if I had a cat. Assembly out of the box was a breeze, and I literally gasped when I realized this vacuum stands on its own. A stick vacuum dream! I am not currently using the included wall attachment to store the vacuum so the fact that it stands on its own in my storage closet is a huge bonus. Sure, I wouldn’t leave it unattended around my curious toddler since it is a bit top heavy, but otherwise, chef’s kiss for this feature. It is fairly lightweight and rolls like buttery velvet on my hard floors. It’s easy for my toddler and my bigger kid to maneuver when they help out. I also fell in love with the headlights on the floor attachment. I didn’t know I needed that feature but it highlighted all the little dust bunnies that I might have missed otherwise. There really aren’t too many cons about this Bissell. It’s not as powerful as another popular brand I own, but it is a quieter vacuum on both hard and carpeted surfaces. My biggest beef is with the canister. It definitely requires two hands to remove the canister and open it over the trash. That alone isn’t a huge deal, but it’s also a bit tricky to reattach and doesn’t click in place easily. My first try I didn’t have everything lined up perfectly and the canister fell right off and popped open. I have yet to use the other attachments, although truthfully I don’t usually reach for them on any vacuum I’ve owned as I prefer a smaller machine for things like upholstery and I’m not in a stage of life where I’m deep cleaning underneath my furniture right now. Overall I’m impressed with the features of this vacuum and I definitely use it regularly for pet hair and the daily crumbs my kids leave behind. It’s a win for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Bissel PowerClean DualBrush for a couple of weeks. I have owned two other stick vacuums in the past from different manufacturers. The Bissel immediately stood out as a powerful device, handling both carpets and floors with surprising efficiency. I was shocked how much debris was in the canister after just the first few passes. I the head with rotating brushes seemed to grab most everyday crumbs as well as larger debris with ease, without the need for multiple passes. The lights on the front of the head made it easy to see dirt and even highlighted spots that I had previously not seen as dirty! The battery life has seemed solid - lasting days without charging with light to moderate use. When not in use, the self standing design was appreciated. The vacuum easily balances on its own and transitioning back to use is a simple click.
I am giving this vacuum 4 stars only due to the perceived weight when using it with one hand. After a short time of use, I felt a good deal of fatigue in my hand and wrist. Due to its weight you need to exert a good deal of force to maneuver turns single-handedly. I found myself switching hands often! It wasn’t a major issue overall and I’m happy to continue using the vacuum despite this weight! It will be one of my go-to vacs moving forwards!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a high shed golden retriever and a 15 month old son. Needless to say, the floors need daily cleaning however, I don’t want to fuss with a full size vacuum every day and often try to stretch it out a few days but then the hair and dirt just gets so bad. This is the perfect in between so I can maintain the floors better between the deeper clean days so it doesn’t get so bad in between. First of all even though this thing is small, it has some great perks of the full size model and the best being it is incredible with dog hair. It’s super lightweight and easy to maneuver, and you don’t have to worry about cords. I love that this thing stands up on its own, but does come with a wall fixture kit. Probably one of the best things is how easy it is to use and figure out. I never look at directions Becuase if I can’t figure it out naturally I don’t like the product. It was so easy to figure out, use, and put together. I like my products to be intuitive and this one is. In fact, it’s so intuitive to use. It actually knows when to kick into higher power when you’re using, and will turn back to regular when it’s not needed , almost like a smart machine.I love that it comes with a led light so you can really see what you’re picking up and even on the upholstery attachment which really helps see hair and dirt that blends in. The hand held option is so easy to use and the attachments are great for use on cracks or I even used to clean my window blinds. It has regular and turbo mode and really does pick up everything I encountered. Honestly this thing is perfect for exactly what it was made to do: use for every clean ups hassle free to make everyday just a little easier but don’t be fooled, just because it’s lightweight, more portable, and not full size doesn’t mean it’s not strong and powerful you don’t have to expect less from it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bissell stick vacuum is my new favorite. The colors are aesthetically pleasing, and the battery was long lasting compared to the other stick vacuums we own! The self standing design held up well with repeated use, and I like you can charge it without having to remove the battery. This makes it the first vacuum I grab because it stays charged easier!
This vacuum handled everyday messes well, both the little crumbs and bigger pieces thanks to the two rollers. We even had a flour spill and cleaned up after giving haircuts to our boys, and the vacuum picked up everything with ease. The light bar helps you see those little crumb pieces easier too! I will say a small drawback is there is space between the front roller and the bumper, so I had to turn the vacuum to the side to get any crumbs up against the counter.
I felt the AutoAdapt feature kick in when I was getting crumbs off the couch with the upholstery attachment, it really did give a power boost to that job right when I needed it! One other interesting feature to this vacuum is the way the canister is removed. Our other stick vacuum has a seal that has worn down over time because of how you dump the canister. This Bissell canister is thoughtfully designed to pull from the top of the crumb basket, and will last far longer with great suction because of that feature!
I do not know if I would pay extra for the Auto Adapt feature, but it was definitely a cool boost to an already great machine. Given the battery life, easy storage with self standing design, attachments, light bar, and overall design, this vacuum definitely holds great value for price in the stick vacuum market. I like it more than our others because of these features. It is the perfect addition to our pantry for after meal times and quick clean ups.
