Bissell Dual Brush
on May 14, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had this new battery powered stick vacuum for a week and have put it through the paces. We are a household of 5, 3 of which have long hair, coupled with our 2 pets, a German shorthair dog (massive amount of short hair) and a cat both going through their spring shedding season. The amount of hair needing to be cleaned up from the hardwood floors, rugs and carpet gets to be quite excessive. This vacuum has done a wonderful job handling the hair and daily messes with three elementary aged children.
I am very impressed with the suction power, headlights and dual brush design. Beginning with the vacuum power, it does a wonderful job of picking up hair and debris from all floor surfaces with the auto adapt feature assisting in seamless transitions from one surface to the next. The one downside to the powerful suction of this vacuum is that the battery life seems to have less staying power/run time than anticipated. We typically charge it after every use and will easily complete a full household clean, yet will often run out of power if trying to go multiple days and cleanups without a charge.
Another great feature are the headlights on this vacuum, they are extremely bright and are wonderful for hardwood floors. This vacuum makes me want to clean more often because it illuminates the hair and dander on hardwood surfaces, letting you know when an area needs to be cleaned. I never realized how truly dirty our floors were until we got this Bissell. One wishlist item would be a slightly larger canister for debris as we can fill it up quite quickly.
My favorite design element of this vacuum is by far the dual brush design. I’ve never had a vacuum that is designed in such a way as to not collect any long hairs in either roller brush. The first head is a soft material, almost like a paint brush roller but with extremely short/fine material. The second roller design is shaped like an arrow and does a great job of not wrapping hair around the roller. We frequently had to remove the roller from our last stick vacuum and cut away the built up hair for it to spin freely again. I have not had to even consider it with this Bisell Dual Brush design.
The only reason I didn’t rate this cordless stick vacuum a 5 star are the few drawbacks mentioned above such as battery run time and the wishlist item regarding a larger canister size, however these are fairly minor not impacting overall rating. The one design flaw I’d point out is without the extended wand, the handle is a bit stubby and hard to clean for close up situations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happily surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum thoroughly surprised me. It was very simple to put together and came with enough charge to test it right away, which is fun! I will list my pros and cons of this vacuum.
Pros:
-Very simple to operate
- has the auto function or you can select a higher powered mode.
-Self standing design is amazing and I loved that more than I thought I would.
-The head swivels nicely
-It does well with larger or smaller debris. I like if something was so big it shuts off then seems to spit it back out.
- it does well with thin rugs or small rugs. Seems to get them clean but the bigger head doesn't suck it up as bad as other brands.
- the light in front is very bright and helpful
- great great bang for your buck
- seems to do well with hair!
Cons:
- it is a little heavier and my arm does get a little tired.
- Emptying the chamber is a little more involved than some other brands. But still simple enough.
Overall I was super impressed with this vacuum. My favorite things were the ability for it to handle all my hard floors and all my different rugs without sucking them up. Second was the self standing design. For the money this is a very good choice and I would recommend it for sure!

Best of both worlds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this vacuum cleaner! I am a fan of vacuum cleaning in general. I get great satisfaction seeing things get swept up into the canister - feels like an accomplishment. What I love about this vacuum is that it has the lights at the bottom so I can really see what it’s getting swept up in the vacuum cleaner, especially the dust. Now that I have the light feature, I am never going back. I can’t imagine how much I’ve missed before without the light feature.
This vacuum is a bit heavier, though than your standard stick vacuum. I would say this is a good hybrid between an upright vacuum that is fully sized at a stick vacuum so it’s a good balance. It also is powerful and good battery retention so overall very pleased.

My favorite Bissell product so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for an upright, cordless vacuum when I got a chance to try this out.
I own an average sized home that has a mix of hardwood floors and carpeted areas. I typically use a corded canister vacuum for hardwood, an upright vacuum for carpeted areas, and a cordless wet/dry mop for spills and when I want to add a bit more extra cleaning. I’m crazy about keeping my floors clean! The thing is, I was missing a cordless one for a quick sweep in the mornings to collect fallen hairs and dusts that seems to be ever present between my kids and our family dog.
This vacuum perfectly fits my need!
It’s cordless. I haven’t had to charge it once during cleaning. It’s got great suction, it’s pretty quiet, the vacuum lights up so you can spot all the dirt and dust more clearly. The BEST feature is that it transitions from hard to carpeted areas without any manual switches! I love this vacuum.

Good vacuum for single person

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is a good option for small household messes. It was able to remove light dirt and debris with ease, easy to maneuver, lightweight and quiet. For larger and heavier debris, it had more trouble and I had to go over surfaces multiple times to get everything up. It also seemed to kick dirt out the back instead of suck it up when going over dirtier areas. The AutoAdapt technology was intriguing to me as well but in practice, I didn’t feel like it reacted at an appropriate speed. It would hit large dirt then a few seconds later, when I already moved on to another spot, it would ramp up. I ended up vacuuming on the high setting (not AutoAdapt) for most of the product testing. I do however like that it is compact and self-standing. It stores easily in our laundry room and is easy to access or pause and leave upright momentarily. Compared to other stick vacuums, it didn’t have enough power or suction to keep up with our home’s level of dirt and debris. Therefore, I would not recommend this vacuum for families with kids or pets (we have 2 kids under 5 yrs and 2 pets). This vacuum’s value and use would be maximized for a single person or couple (no kids or pets). Because it does to fine for small messes and is light and maneuverable, I will likely be passing it on to my elderly grandma and think it will be a great option for her!

Hi Anna, thank you for sharing your honest experience with the PowerClean® DualBrush. We’re sorry it didn’t provide the power needed for a busy home, and we appreciate your feedback on AutoAdapt and debris pickup. We’re glad you found it lightweight, compact, and easy to store, and we agree it can be a great fit for lighter messes. Duel brush with a light Say no more
on May 13, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the PowerClean DualBrush, I have kids and a dog in the house so cleaning up throughout the day is a must. I thought it was nice that it self stands that was helpful if having to stop and come back to it momentarily. I thought it had good power and with the duel brushes picked up a lot even my dogs fine short hairs. I liked the auto adapt when changing to carpets. Most of all I loved the light on the vacuum head, that was a game changer in knowing and seeing what you’re getting to be sure you don’t miss anything. Some things I could be nit-picky about is when on uneven areas (half rug half hard floors) it doesn’t have super strong suction on the base level to pick up, also when getting close to door jams it doesn’t have that strong power to suck sand that’s not directly under. Also if you run it on the high level it’s run time is a tad short for my house size. Over all for the value it’s a nice vacuum and would definitely recommend!

Overly impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whoa!!! Game changing vacuum! After the first day of vacuuming with my new Bissell my house feels so much cleaner, which completely surprised me since I had already vacuumed with my trusty high powered plug in the previous day. The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush picked up dirt and debris I didn’t even know was hiding in my rugs and hardwood floors! I was shocked to see what my old vacuum left behind, everything large and small was sucked right up with my new Bissell. It automatically turned on high powered suction for super messy areas and had no issues transitioning between floor types (and my house has an over abundance of various rug piles and flooring). To top off my overly excited vacuuming run, which only ended once the battery ran out (about 45-55 min), I was thrilled to discover that it stood unsupported without wobbling! Every household should have this vacuum, it’s so easy to maneuver, easy to empty, has impressive power to grab dust and debris of all sizes, and it’s easy to clean (the brushes simply pop out with a push of a well placed button). I’m so happy.

Game changer of a vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just started using this vacuum last week, and it is amazing at keeping up with my 3 kids, our yellow lab and a whole first floor of hard floors rugs and wall to wall carpeting. There’s a light on the front of the vacuum that shows hair and tiny debris you otherwise can not see without it. Its light, cordless features combined with the new AutoAdapt technology allows me to zip around the entire first floor without unplugging or slowing down. It’s excellent for quick daily use. I can even zip up the stairs with it, since there’s no cord and it’s so light weight. The vacuum works well on the wall to wall carpet, too- it switches automatically, so there is no need to push a button.
I also wanted to note the angle at which the head of the vacuum can rotate around reaches all corners of the floor so effortlessly.
Additionally, this vacuum has a self- standing design, so I could conveniently pause vacuuming as needed. I liked that feature more than I thought I would.
My husband likes using it, too. With kids, shedding pets, and a house with a variety of flooring, i am so glad to have this stick vacuum ready in a tiny nook in my home.
I would recommend this to a friend!
