I like the suction power of this Bissell stick vac; however, the vacuum is very heavy and I think it might actually have put a few dents in luxury vinyl plank flooring.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re glad to hear you’re happy with the suction, but we understand your concerns about weight and floor markings. For hard floors, try using a lower power setting and ensure the brush roll and wheels are clean and free of debris to help minimize pressure and scuffing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush Cordless Stick Vacuum and was blown away by the results! I have had three stick vacuums in the past, and none of them have compared to this one! With three shedding cats, one being a large Maine Coon. As well as a dog. This vacuum has gone above my expectations, removing the hair from my floors and furniture. I had a friend ask me what I had done differently in my cleaning routine recently, telling me she wouldn't even have known I had pets in my home. It removes up to 95% of pet hair, which is easily noticed with the headlights on the vacuum. Not only does it have close to a full hour of run time before it needs to be charged, which is amazing, but it also has something even better to mention, in my opinion. It comes with a HEPA filter that seals dust and allergens while collecting 99.97% of them in the process! There is a built-in 'Auto Detect' feature that automatically senses how big or small a mess is and can boost the power if needed to clean efficiently. Other stick vacuums that I have owned claim to be self-standing but tend to fall over, which in turn cracks or has even damaged my vacuum, which was very disappointing, but this one truly is self-standing and is very sturdy! I can wholeheartedly say that the overall value of the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush Stick Vacuum is AMAZING! I love that it has different attachments that can be used on different areas of my home, such as furniture and curtains as well as my stairs, all while being a lightweight vacuum but having the power of an industrial vacuum! You will not be disappointed if you ever decide to make the decision to own one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this vacuum! I just recently moved from an apartment in a city to a house in the country and the amount of dirt, debris, and dander that gets in the house is enough to drive me crazy. We have two cats and two dogs, and I can honestly say this vacuum is exceeding my expectations in keeping this country house clean. The auto adapting feature is also very handy, going from carpet and hardwood from small pieces of dirt to bigger kitchen messes, and I feel like I do not have to constantly keep going over it. I have had many stick vacs before, and I love tat this is self standing. It actually stands well, too. I have had some that when they stand on carpet (usually in a closet) they fall, and this one does well at standing up (despite how clumsy I am). I have donated one of my old vacuums and pitched another now that I have this one and I would recommend if you have a house that constantly needs some cleaning to try this!
I love this cordless vacuum for many reasons: the stand alone feature (not having to prop it up against something), the headlights on it, I also have the PowerClean Swivel Rewind Pet vacuum with the retractable cord, I also wish this one had the headlights on it. The cordless is easy to use, the battery lasts long enough for me to do all the hardwood floors in the house, it's light weight. I highly recommend this.
This vacuum truly exceeds my expectations. It is incredibly powerful, adapts perfectly to different surfaces and the battery life was outstanding! The headlights are a game changer which enabled me to see dirt & fur much easier! I can highly recommend this model!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned a number of different vacuums and stick vacuums over the years, and this is absolutely one of my all time favorite stick vacs I've ever tried. My home is a busy one, we have 8 people (6 of who are kids ages 2-14) , 2 dogs that love to shed (Australian shepherd/border collie mixes), and 2 cats. Oh, and a hamster—my 8 year old would give me a hard time if I forgot to mention him. Either way, our house is one that needs to be cleaned constantly. We vacuum multiple times a day, and I don't see that changing any time soon. While this vacuum doesn't decrease our need to vacuum, it does cut down on the time it takes to vacuum each time. The way the vacuum ramps up the power whenever it goes over dirt/debris is amazing. It helps me know when I need to go over an area again, but it also does a fantastic job of getting the debris up pretty quickly.
I also am not sure what sort of magic they used in this thing, but I haven't had to fight with the brush roll while trying to pull out tied up hair at all. The hair just comes right off, it doesn't get tangled or knotted. It's so easy to clean out from the brush rolls at the bottom, to emptying the canister.
I also appreciated that it stands on it's own. It lets me just easily set it to the side while I'm moving all my kiddos stuff off the floor for the area I need to clean. It permanently lives in my kitchen, and it stands there too.
This is going to sound weird (hello being in your 30s) but this vacuum also looks so nice. The deep blue is a really pleasant color and overall the vacuum just looks modern and nice in my space.
I cannot think of a single thing I'd change about this vacuum. The headlights, AutoAdapt (power ramp up), brush rolls, and versatility are exactly everything I needed.
