A worthy purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stick vacuum did everything you would expect. The light is great to show you what is being picked up. It is easy to switch between tools and offers good suction. I love that it stands up on its own and comes with a wall mount for optional storage solutions.
The vacuum does seem a bit on the heavy side, but is still easily managed. It also doesn’t do the best job on mixed flooring. Our stairs have carpet toppers. It vacuumed the carpet great, but did not pick up dirt and dog hair off the hardwood below. I had to switch tools to get that area cleaned. It wasn’t a big deal since switching tools is so easy though and is a much better option than lugging a huge corded vacuum up and down.
My only other complaint is the power button and setting button are right next to each other on the handle. The setting button is on top and the power button is below. I naturally hit the top button to turn the vacuum off which is the wrong button. I assume with more use I would get use to where they are located, but it does feel backwards to me. Again not a big issue.

Great Vacuum at Reasonable Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This vacuum has quickly become my favorite out of the many vacuums in my home.
I have three kids who love playing with kinetic sand, a cat that sheds and kicks litter everywhere, and a dog that tracks dirt in from the backyard. On top of that, I like my home to feel clean. We have hardwood floors, and one of my biggest pet peeves is walking barefoot and feeling crumbs under my feet. I vacuum daily, and this vacuum has really helped us keep up with the constant mess. I was able to easily mount the charging station in my closet, so it stays out of sight while still being convenient and accessible.
The initial setup and operation are simple and straightforward. With the push of a button, the vacuum powers on automatically. It also features AutoAdapt technology, which gives it an extra boost of power when needed. I’ve found that it transitions seamlessly from hardwood floors to rugs and carpets and handles both very well. One feature I especially love is the built-in lights. They make it so much easier to spot debris on the floor, especially clumps of pet fur that would otherwise blend into the carpet.
I also appreciate how easily it stands and balances while I move it around, and the cordless design is a huge plus. I can move from room to room without worrying about cords or constantly unplugging and repositioning the vacuum. It’s especially great for stairs since there’s no cord to manage. The vacuum charges quickly and lasts a little over 20 minutes on a charge.
Overall, I’m extremely happy and impressed with its power and performance, especially for a battery operated vacuum.

Heavy when vacuuming but good suction
on May 14, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off let me just say first impression it looked like your typical stick vacuum but it’s much more than that. It comes with all sorts of attachments from upholstery to a crevice tool and cleaning out the trash was so easy. I have another stick vacuum which is great but the suction on this particular one is a lot better. Just seeing how even after vacuuming with my old vacuum and then passing this one over and it still collecting pet hair and dirt is so impressive. With positives there are negatives, which would be the battery life doesn’t last too long, especially since I’m one who likes to go from carpet to floor and the vacuum is a little on the heavier side because of the big battery. After a while I do get tired because of how heavy it is but again the excitement of how much dirt and dog hair it picks up just makes me keep going.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Diana—glad to hear you’re seeing such strong pickup! Because this machine has a larger battery for added power, it can feel a bit heavier, and battery life may vary depending on the power mode and surface type. Using standard mode on hard floors can help extend runtime. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out at support.bissell.com and we’ll be happy to help!

Perfect for Small Messes
on May 14, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is a nice stick vacuum system; it’s not as loud as some stick vacuums and I appreciate the multiple, interlocking attachments.
I have a full house of active children and pets, so I need something that can keep up with the rigor of dirty feetsies and paws. It’s a great stick vacuum for those instant messes that can get out of hand real fast if not addressed right away. But for larger areas, the canister just isn’t it. The suction is decent, but it sputters on my thick pile rugs.
The AutoAdapt technology failed on the rugs, to be honest. It was slow to adapt from one floor type to the other, often resulting in multiple passes before it detected the change. For the carpeted areas and the hard wood floor it worked well, adjusting for the debris after a pass or two. It really could not keep up on the rugs, and I found myself going over it with the upright vacuum.
It’s easy to use and relatively intuitive, it holds upright on its own (not that I would rely on that with how feral my household is). I do struggle removing the vacuum from the dock every now and then, it feels like it catches on something internal to the dock whilst I’m lifting straight up. I do appreciate the nesting-like quality of the attachments; I don’t feel like I’m trying to find some place to store all the additional attachments: they all simply fit right on the dock.
Compared to other stick vacuums, the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is mid-tier. It gets small messes fixed right up and can help with smaller areas. But with a 2,800ft2 home, it misses the mark. It’s a great vacuum for my children to utilize in their bedrooms, but for the main house I find it lacking. I’ve used other stick vacuums that have a larger canister and have better suction. This isn’t exactly a large household friendly stick vacuum, and it will be primarily used by my children and smaller messes while the more potent vacuum is utilized for the remainder of the house, much to the furballs’ chagrin.

Thanks for sharing such detailed feedback—we’re glad it’s been helpful for quick cleanups around your home! On thicker rugs, using a higher power setting can help improve pickup, as AutoAdapt may take a pass or two to adjust. For the docking issue, make sure the machine is aligned straight when lifting to avoid catching. If you continue to have trouble, please reach out at support.bissell.com and we’ll be happy to help!

Toddler Mom and Dog Owner Approved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush for free to try and honestly… I’m obsessed. At first I wasn’t sure why everyone cared so much about the light feature until I used it on my hardwood floors and HOLY MOLY. Apparently my house is just layers of invisible dog hair.
It handles everyday messes really well on my hardwoods, carpet, and stairs, and I love how lightweight and tall it is compared to other stick vacs I’ve had. It’s way easier to maneuver without feeling like I’m wrestling the vacuum or throwing out my back.
Also LOVE that it stands on its own. My toddler “helper” can walk by and touch it without the whole thing immediately crashing to the floor on top of him, which honestly feels revolutionary.
The AutoAdapt feature is super nice too.. you can actually feel it kick in when you need extra power.
Only downside for me is it doesn’t seem to grab quite as much on my low-pile runners/rugs as my regular vacuum. But overall? Total game changer for daily cleaning.

Everything I have wanted in a stick vacuum
on May 14, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is the best stick vacuum I’ve used. With 2 young kids, 2 cats, and being an outdoorsy family, crumbs, cat hair, and sand are unavoidable. This vacuum effortlessly picks up everything life throws on the floor and transitions smoothly from hard floors to rugs. I love how it senses larger messes and kicks in extra power and how the dual brushes maintain contact with the floor even when laying flat, to easily vacuum under couches without moving them. The attachments work great for hard to reach spots and getting cat hair out of upholstery. The headlight is bright, it self stands, the canister is easy to empty, and the maneuverability is effortless. Every functionality I’ve always wanted in a stick vacuum is packed into this one. Overall, it is a great value for its power, ease of use, and ability to clean all daily messes, including those under furniture.

Impressed From the First Use
on May 14, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We primarily used this vacuum while cleaning out a relative's house, and it honestly did a great job! There was an unbelievable amount of dust, dirt, and debris, and this vacuum handled it all phenomenally. It picked up everything without missing a beat. The AutoAdapt technology came in really handy, and it quickly became one of my favorite features because it automatically increased power/strength when needed, so I didn't have to constantly switch settings manually. That made cleaning easier and faster, especially moving between rooms with different flooring. The self-standing design was very convenient, I didn't have to find somewhere to lean it when having to pause. The dust bin did need to be emptied pretty frequently, but I honestly think that was more based on the dustiness of the house rather than the vacuum itself.
Overall, I think this vacuum is a really good value compared to other stick vacuums I've used. It's powerful, convenient, user friendly, and handled a major cleaning job better than I expected!

Bissell PowerClean DualBrush

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was surprisingly good. It kicked in higher power when I would move to a surface that had more debris to really help me clean the area. Compared to other stick vacuums I've used, this one acted like a corded vacuum thoroughly cleaning areas that my other stick vac wouldn't and you notice it instantly!
The last part on this is the battery life. My experience with other stick vacs is that the battery will last for maybe 20 minutes of continuous running and if you have it on the high power mode you're maybe getting 1/3 of that 20 minutes before the batter is drained. This battery goes on forever! You can actually slow down and vacuum the rug that your dog lays on and give it the time it truly deserves!
I can't say enough about this vacuum. I'm truly impressed.
