Solid everyday vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush handles daily messes really well for us. Love how it picks everything up in one pass without feeling like you have to go over the same spot repeatedly.
The AutoAdap feature is a standout. You can actually feel it kick in when it hits heavier dirt or debris, giving that extra boost of suction right when you need it without draining the battery the whole time.
I also really like the self-standing design — it sounds small, but it makes quick pauses and multitasking way easier instead of leaning it against a wall or laying it down.
Overall the vac feels more powerful and a better clean than a lot of other stick vacs in this range, especially for homes with pets or kids. It’s not overly complicated, just reliable and efficient for everyday use.

Good Not Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’d like to start off by saying this product does exactly what it’s advertised to do: strong suction, dual speed, and AutoAdapt. I had no issue vacuuming and picking up debris, both small and large. The AutoAdapt functionality was a cool feature, especially when switching from hardwood/tile to carpet. It was nice not having to press another button. The self stand function was also a nice touch, which makes for easy storage, along with the large canister giving a little extra room between emptying. The extra attachments are also a much welcomed addition, along with the ability to remove the battery to charge separately.
All that being said, I did have a few things I wasn’t a fan of. The first being the weight of the vacuum. Because of the stronger motor and larger canister, I think it comes in slightly heavier than the average stick vacuum. This became evident to me about halfway through my vacuuming session when I started to feel a little soreness in my shoulder, something I have never experienced before with a quick vacuuming session, so take from that what you will.
The second issue I had was with the pull out metal bar for emptying the canister. There’s just no easy way to do this. The first time I attempted to empty the canister, I pulled the bar with some force, as much as needed, and dust and debris flew out and got all over the place, forcing me to vacuum again and change clothes.
The final issue was battery life. I tested it on all settings: AutoAdapt, low suction, and high suction. On AutoAdapt and low suction, I was able to easily clean the kitchen, living room, and one bedroom. On high suction, I was only able to complete the kitchen and living room, roughly 25 minutes, which seems pretty in line with traditional stick vacuums, but when factoring in the size and weight of the provided battery, I would’ve hoped for a little more.

Great all arounder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My initial impression upon opening the box was that this vacuum is solidly built! Much sturdier and not toy-like compared to other stick vacuums I have used. Also worth mentioning, as this vacuum is targeting itself as a vacuum for pet owners, the box doubled as a "Cat Cubby" - the box has cutouts to transform into a space that cat(s) could bundle themselves in. In my case, my 7 and 9 year olds made it a play arena for their dolls/toys. It was a nice surprise.
I've had the vacuum for a couple weeks now and it really has surpassed my expectations. It does a wonderful job of removing pet hair out of the carpet and rugs, as well as the couch - especially when using the dedicated upholstery attachment called the "Furfinder", which it does do! Swapping attachments is quick and easy. There is also a crevice attachment which has a brush that you can slide forward or back, depending on if you want to use the brush or not. It's clever and reduces the total number of attachments. I also very much appreciate how flat this vacuum lays, making it easy to fit under furniture where hair and dust bunnies typically love to gather.
We already owned a rather expensive canister vacuum, a wandering robot vacuum, a handheld vacuum, and we've gone through a couple different stick vacuums that didn't impress. The performance from this Bissell makes me think we might be able to get rid of the canister and/or handheld vacuums. Regarding the handheld, you can remove the long tube attachment and this Bissell becomes very compact. Not as compact as our handheld, but it's something to think about. The ability to remove the long tube attachment makes it much less awkward to use the crevice tool in certain situations, and less awkward to vacuum upholstery when using the Furfinder attachment.
There are a few different power modes to vacuum with, which is appreciated. There is a low, high, and auto setting. The auto setting is what I use most, it is truly a "set it and forget it" mode that adds power when detecting more dirt/hair, and conserves power when detecting less dirt/hair. This is the best combo of battery life and suction power. Battery life is great, lasting just shy of an hour before needing to charge again.
The fact that it stands up by itself is a great design that is so useful. And I've found that if I just place the vacuum in any room of the house, someone will end up vacuuming that room because it's there, it's easy, no cords to limit your movement.
I've already recommended this vacuum to others. The value is amazing and it's quickly become my go-to vacuum for everyday needs in my household.

Our Favorite Vacuum
on May 14, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought I would be arguing with my wife on who gets to use the new vacuum!
By far, the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is our favorite vacuum, and here is why:
Our home has a healthy mix of both carpet and wood floors, and two toddlers, and two cats and we find ourselves vacuuming several times a week. Our messes consist of snacks and food from the kids, playground rocks and sand, plenty of cat hair, and the dirt of everyday life. The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush tackles it all with ease. Two performance aspects stand out. First it doesn’t push dirt around. I don’t have to lift the vacuum over snacks to get picked up, or transition the vacuum to a stick to pick up dirt. Second and most impressively, it picks up the sand and cat hair better than any other vacuum we’ve ever used. The magic of the second roller amazed us when we realized how much hair our other vacuum had been missing.
It’s also easy to use. Not only does it transition from wood floors to carpet without missing a beat, but the connectors are intuitive and facilitate quick transitions between being used as a floor vac, an upholstery vac, or as a stick vac to capture those pesky cobwebs along the ceiling. The freestanding design also saves space; we don’t have a lot of storage space in our house, so the freestanding design makes storage a second thought without having it leaning against the wall.
Our favorite feature though, is actually how easy it is to empty and clean. The canister can be removed with one hand, and the vortex collects dirt in such a way that you can just dump it into the trash without having to scrape out dirt or have dust go everywhere. In seconds, you are back to cleaning. Combined with a batter large enough to clean our entire house (3 bedroom, 2 bath) at least twice before we need to charge it, and it’s a winner.
Long story short, if you are looking for a vacuum, look no further. This is the vacuum that does it all and stands head and shoulders above the competition.

Great on Sofas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was great with small crumbs and some paper scraps left behind by my kids, and dust bunnies. I love the light built it as it really helped so see everything I was trying to clean and if I missed anything. The AutoAdapt feature mostly worked and made it easier to clean rugs as it wasn’t over suctioning and made transition between hardwood and rugs easy. Though there were also few times I prefer to manually adjust as I needed more suction. I loved that it could self stand. As a mom of young kids I tend to need to stop mid activity to help a kid. So being able to quickly leave vacuum standing and it not falling over or scratching a wall by leaning on it was amazing. Compared to other stick vacs I own this one was on the heavier side. But I also loved the upholstery brush. It did wonders on my sofa to pick up pet fur with ease. This is a great vacuum and comes with extra attachments and has nice features.

This vacuum is everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Powerclean Dualbrush exceeded my expectations! It’s the best cordless vacuum I’ve ever owned.
It’s lightweight and super easy to maneuver and obviously designed with ease of use front and center. Every part clicks apart smoothly with minimal hand strength needed. The dust bin is also incredibly easy to empty and clean.
I have a large house with tile and carpet. The vacuum instantly recognized when I switched surfaces and increased suction automatically on the carpet. The battery easily lasted through a whole-house cleaning, and I was surprised how quiet it is when running.
Switching attachments is seamless. A light press of your foot releases the main attachment and then you can swap to the upholstery/stair tool or the crevice attachment and keep cleaning without interruption. The dual brushes also detach with click of a button and can be ran under water to clean and snap right back in.
This vacuum is great for any age, but especially for seniors or anyone with limited hand strength. It’s a powerhouse in a good looking package and extremely user friendly.

Perfect everyday vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love, love, love this vacuum! I have two little kids and EIGHT pets, so I vacuum a lot. This is perfect for everyday messes - I use it for crumbs, pet hair, cat little, on both hardwood and carpet, and it works well everywhere. It boosts power itself for heavier messes, is easy to store and use, and works much more effectively than my other stick vacuums (and I have tried many). Highly recommend!
