great cordless vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean DualBrush is a highly effective rechargeable cordless stick vacuum. I appreciate how lightweight and easy to manoeuvre it is. I used the Bissell PowerClean successfully on file, hardwood, low pile rugs, and high pile carpet. I also used the upholstery attachment to remove dog hair from my couch cushions. It performs well on all surfaces. I was impressed by how much dog hair it pulled out of carpet and upholstery! It’s east to dump out the dustbin when it gets full and start collecting again. I appreciate that this vacuum does not require bag replacements.
The battery life is good - I can get about 40 minutes of run time on the standard power setting, which is enough time to clean about half of what I need. I let it charge and then finish the other half. I did notice that the AutoAdapt feature kicks in when a little extra power is required, for exceptionally dirty surfaces or high pile carpet. Of course when it runs on higher power, the battery drains more quickly. However, this is a great feature to have on a cordless unit.
Another feature I find very helpful are the lights to illuminate the surface being cleaned. It really helped me to identify which spots needed extra passes (usually spots with lots of pet hair).
The vacuum’s self standing design as well as docking station is very convenient and I would consider these to be stand-out features. The docking station in particular makes charging a breeze and storage is very convenient and compact. I also don’t have to worry about losing any of the attachments because there is a place for everything!
Overall, I consider the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush a great value for the money and a wise investment for pet owners who want a convenient, powerful, compact cordless vacuum that effectively cleans on a wide variety of surfaces.

Hard working stick vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m writing this review about the Bissell PowerClean Dual Brush Stick Vacuum, and I want to start by saying I was truly surprised by how much power this stick vacuum has. Most stick vacuums just don’t have the suction power I need. I have four dogs, one cat, and I also rehabilitate different types of wildlife, so a good vacuum gets a lot of use in my home.
This vacuum came with several useful accessories, including the extension wand, motorized foot, FurFinder tool, 2-in-1 dusting brush, and a wall mount. All of the accessories are very easy to connect and disconnect.
The motorized foot glides over the floor effortlessly, and the FurFinder tool is simply amazing. I have rugs in front of my entry doors that are extremely difficult to get hair and dirt out of, but this attachment worked incredibly well. It actually suctions tightly to the rug while pulling up dirt and pet hair. It cleaned those rugs with such ease that I was honestly shocked. Nothing I’ve used before has worked that well. Normally, I have to take the rugs outside and shake and beat the dirt out of them. My husband was even surprised when I showed him because those rugs have always been difficult to clean. Not anymore!
I also really like the AutoAdapt technology. It senses the type of cleaning you’re doing and automatically adjusts the motor to the appropriate power level, so you always have the suction you need for different types of messes.
The wall mount is easy to install and keeps the vacuum and accessories organized together in one place for quick and easy access. Another feature I love is that the extension wand has a built-in crevice tool. I’ve never seen that on another vacuum before, and it makes cleaning quick messes so convenient.
The battery fully charges in about three hours and provides plenty of runtime to clean around the house.
One more really cool thing I want to mention is the packaging box itself. The box can actually be turned into a cat cubby, which is such a creative idea to help reduce waste. My granddaughter was so excited to punch out the preformed pieces and put it together for our cat. Instructions were included as well. It’s thoughtful little ideas like this that really make a company stand out and make me want to continue purchasing their products.

A No Frills Power House

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is wonderful! It's versatile, powerful, and frankly attractive. The satin metallic finish looks wonderful. It is solidly constructed but not overly heavy.
This vacuum comes with all of the attachments that you need to clean from top to bottom and upholstery and no niche ones that just sit somewhere and never get used. The battery life is more than adequate for me to vacuum my entire downstairs on the highest setting. I was skeptical about the dual head system but it actually works amazingly. I can clean my hardwood floors and rugs without having to change brush heads and it does a great job at both. The lights on the dual brush head are super bright and do a great job.
My favorite thing about this vacuum is that it can stand up in its own! You can stop to pick something up while vacuuming WITHOUT having to lean the vacuum up against something. I know that sounds silly but it really comes in handy. You do probably lose some maneuverability but I was able to get under all of my furniture with no real issue.
Overall I'm very happy with this vacuum and it has replaced my other upright vacuum for pretty much every scenario. I highly recommend it!

Picks up everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush for almost 2 weeks in my large home with hardwood floors, rugs, and carpet, and I’m very impressed with it. I have a toddler and a 98 lb golden retriever, so this vacuum gets tested daily with crumbs and dog hair everywhere.
It does a great job picking up both small debris and larger messes on every surface I’ve used it on. The FurFinder upholstery attachment was especially impressive on my sectional couch. It pulled up so much dog hair!
The AutoAdapt technology felt pretty subtle to me, but the vacuum consistently picked everything up well, so it clearly works. The self-standing design is also a great feature because I don’t have to lean it against a wall and worry about it falling over. I also love that the battery is removable so I can charge it separately on the counter instead of storing the whole vacuum near an outlet.
A couple cons: it is heavier than I expected, and the battery life isn’t super long. That said, I’ve had similar battery life experiences with most cordless stick vacuums, so that wasn’t a dealbreaker for me.
Overall, I think this vacuum is an amazing value for the price and performs better than other much more expensive stick vacuums I’ve tried.

It stands on its own

First of all, it does the non-negotiables very well. We’ve got 2 kids and 2 big dogs, and a mix of hardwood, area rugs and carpeting so we’re always battling messes (our pups love to sneak in mulch and our kids love to spill beads everywhere), dirt, and fur on a variety of surfaces. The vacuum handles it all with ease. Given I’m switching surfaces constantly, the fact it adjusts the power level automatically is extremely helpful. It instantly kicks up on thick carpets, and then eases off when back on hardwood. The light works very well to illuminate dark areas. I actually often turn off the lights when I’m vacuuming because it helps highlight dirt and hair especially well. The attachments are all solid, and the wall mount holds them nicely when not in use. Battery life is great. I can easily cover a few thousand square feet on one charge.
But the most amazing part of the vacuum is that it stands up on its own. I spent a lifetime propping up and trying to balance stick vacuums when taking a break from cleaning. The Bissell just stands up.
My only complaint is that the DualBrush floor attachment is a bit large which can make it a bit tough to get into some tighter spots. It’s a minor tradeoff though and just a function of having the double brushes.
Bottom line: It cleans as well or better than any other stick vacuum I’ve owned, and the convenience of it standing up makes it my favorite. The fact that it doesn’t break the bank is just icing on the cake.

Deserves a Standing Ovation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had NO idea how much of an impact being able to free stand and having a BRIGHT light would make! I’ve had this vac for as well as another, very popular high end brand stick vac, and didn’t overthink it; just noticed which I reached for more….and it was the Bissell!! I LOVE the on/off button rather than holding a trigger. I can’t explain how, but the suction is great, without being sooo much that it’s a full workout to vacuum my carpet. I would not have reached for it, if it was a multiple pass to pick up crumbs situation; it wasn’t! It automatically increased power quickly when needed, but was quiet and effective otherwise. I have a 4yo & 18mo, so it got TESTED! It was quiet enough I could vacuum during nap time! Not the case with my other vacuum. My favorite feature is honestly the light though. I didn’t realize how much I was missing without it. It sounds crazy, but trust me. I am very pleasantly surprised how much I love this vacuum, given the affordable price!

Bissell Cordless vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time I pulled it out and used it I was a little unsure of it , but when i vacuum my living room rug which I thought was clean and looked at what it had actually picked it I was very impressed. I also have dark wood floors and I sweep and mop all the time, I went ahead and started vacuuming my floors and when the lights on the front hit the ground I could actually see things that I have missed and couldn’t see. I love that it will stay in place standing . I love how it has different speeds.

Great cordless vacuum

My days are wall to wall but keeping the floors free of crumbs and pet hair helps me stay sane. My priorities in a vacuum are that it’s cordless for ease of use and lightweight for daily vacuuming in high traffic areas. This vacuum taught me my new favorite feature— the headlight to see hidden debris. I love being able to see crumbs I otherwise would have missed. This vacuum works well on both hardwood and carpets which is new to me, I used to have to get out my heavy corded vacuum to really get rugs clean.
