[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a double coat dog, a cat, and two young boys constantly snacking, my floors are a never-ending disaster! I tried the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush, and its double brush rolls are amazing—they easily suck up chunky crumbs and fine pet hair in one pass without plowing stuff forward. The super bright light made me realize how dirty my floors truly are (I cannot unsee this unfortunately!). I love the AutoAdapt technology because it automatically kicks into overdrive when I hit a heavy pile of pet dander, saving me from constantly messing with settings - it's a one time set and forget (good for mom brain!). I also really appreciate the self-standing design; I can just park it upright mid-clean when a kid screams or I have to pick up random socks without it crashing to the floor. It is an amazing mid-range value compared to my old Dyson cordless, which was lighter but definitely didn't have the same suction power and width of the cleaning brushes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do you have a house of chaos full of children and pets? Do they constantly come in and out of doors tracking dirt and sand? And leave trails of fur, crafts, and food? If so then you know how vital a good vacuum can be. This little stand up cordless bissell packs a powerful punch and has some great features for a busy parent. The suction even grabs those small toys that they really don’t need anyway. No clogs so far! The lights make sure to illuminate all of the fur and sand so you don’t miss any spots. Battery life is surprisingly good (average of every other day for us) and you can toggle through power levels depending on your type of flooring and dirt level. The very best, almost hidden, feature though is the little lever you can step on to quickly detach the upper wand from the bottom. Makes its seamless to grab crumbs in corners or clean door tracks. Genius! My one issue is that the two rollers are sometimes so powerful on carpet that the vacuum thinks it is clogged and stops. And if you have smaller area rugs you need to hold on tight to an edge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Bissell PowerClean DualBrush vacuum for the past couple of weeks as my primary vacuum and I have been really happy with the product! Before, I was using a popular competitor and I think this one gives it a run for its money! There are so many different convenient features on the Bissell that my other cordless stick vacuum does not have, leading me to prefer this to my existing vacuums. I have two dogs and a young toddler at home, so a vacuum that handles all of our everyday messes is a must.
Some pros: -The lights on the attachments are wonderful! I have such a hard time navigating hard to reach places and missing large areas of debris on our wood floors otherwise. The light is featured on both the main brush attachment and the upholstery attachment (which I use for our stairs). This makes finding all of your dirty spots easy!
-The vacuum noise operates on a low level. I find the operation of it to be less noisy that other similar makes/models.
-The filter cartridge was easy to remove and did not leave dirt/debris remnants scattered upon removal.
-The vacuum transitions from our hardwoods to our carpeted areas rather seamlessly and overall glides smooth.
-The vacuum can stand on its own in an upright position without a holder! This is great when I have to take a break and pick things up off the ground. My other competitor does not do this and you have to lay it down horizontally, which I find annoying and a tripping hazard. With a little one running around, having an upright vacuum that doesn’t create a hazard is a plus!
-Bissell clearly cares for pets and the packaging the vacuum arrived in speaks to this. The box came with instructions to make a “Cat Cubby,” which I found to be adorable for cat owners!
Some cons: -The vacuum is very top-heavy at the battery, which makes it a bit awkward to handle, but is likely essential for its ability to maintain an upright position without a holder.
-I wish the battery lasted a little longer. Even on the eco mode, I could basically vacuum my home just once, which doesn’t leave a lot of room for touch-ups without charging again.
-For the life of me I could not figure out how the AutoAdapt technology worked. The lights and suction level never changed. My house may just not have significant patches of debris to activate the setting? Instead, I manually changed the suction levels as needed. Not a dealbreaker, but it left me scratching my head for why the levels wouldn’t adapt on their own.
Overall, for the value and features this vacuum has, I am very pleased with the vacuum and highly recommend this product for households with pets and kids!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an eight-year-old kid and a very sheddy, fluffy dog, so part of each day is devoted to cleaning up messes, and it’s a hassle to take out a huge vacuum every time.
This small, light, self-standing (yay, no tipping/leaning necessary) vacuum was a dream! Easy to handle, and surprisingly powerful for its size and weight. It’s got a sensor that basically recognizes when it needs to rev up, and kicks in with an extra boost when necessary — kind of feels like a little robot cleaning buddy, in the best way.
I’ve generally been a handheld vac for daily messes person (which means a ton of leaning down to reach the floor) and big, heavy plug-in for full-house cleaning, and I’m thrilled to say that this is the best of both worlds — light and easy to maneuver as a handheld, while powerful & lasting as a larger one, and no back pain afterward. Stick vac for life!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This self‑standing stick vacuum has been a great addition to my home. It’s powerful, easy to use, and I’d absolutely purchase it again. The suction is strong, and the automatic adjustment between carpet and hardwood works seamlessly. It is lightweight and fairly quiet when in use. Even my 10 year old is able to move it easily. I also appreciate the front light — it makes cleaning under furniture much easier. I do wish it could flatten a bit more to reach fully under the couch. The roller brush is very powerful, but be mindful that it can wrap string and stop the bar from spinning. Overall great product that efficiently cleans up the dust and pet fur from my floors! Bissell is a great brand. The box even turns into a great toy for cats!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is awesome! I have pets and 3 kids and am always on the hunt for a vacuum that can actually keep up with our everyday messes, well this is it. This vacuum sucks up tiny crumbs and bigger debris, like Goldfish, Cheerios, etc. It also has an auto sensor so when more power is needed, the AutoAdapt technology kicks on automatically. I’ve never seen another vacuum with this feature and I absolutely love it.
The battery life is good, even with the highest power setting, and the vacuum stands on its own which makes it easy to take breaks if the kids need something while I’m cleaning. I also love that the vacuum lights the front path so you can clearly see what’s being picked up or where you still need to clean.
I can honestly say this is one of the best stick vacuums I’ve ever used. I will be recommending this to everyone I know!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned multiple cordless vacuums, and this one is by far my favorite. Right out of the box, the design is beautiful, sleek, simple, and sophisticated. The lights on this vacuum are just amazing! I have never seen lights this bright on a vacuum. It's wonderful for helping me to see things clearly, so that I can get a good thorough clean. I can see every speck of dust, dirt and cat hair and believe me, there's plenty of cat hair to be found when you own 5 cats. Even the upholstery attachment has these amazing lights. This vacuum has shown me dirt in places that I thought were clean and more dirt than I have every noticed with others. This has really good strong suction that has no trouble sucking up not only small light dirt but also heavier items like cat food on the first go round. It maneuvers and glides effortlessly across my hardwood floors, my carpet, my rugs and all of my flooring. The attachments are so helpful, especially the pet hair attachment. Because, like I said, I have 5 cats so if I don't clean my upholstery at least once a week, I am overrun with pet hair. It is super quick and simple to empty. The tool storage wall amount is another really great feature. I am so bad at losing parts, and now this helps me keep them all right there and organized and I just love it. I can't not mention how neat it is that the box turned into a toy for my cats. I mean, I have never seen something like that. That is such a sweet little bonus. I mean, there is nothing that I do not love about this vacuum. I only wish that I had gotten it sooner.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bissell always delivers high quality, and this vacuum is no different. This vacuum comes with a wall mount you can install, but I haven’t done that yet since I don’t know where I’d want this hanging out permanently. It is very easy, however, to remove the battery and plug just the battery into the charger in any outlet. Speaking of battery: I was actually very surprised at how long the battery lasted. On my first try, I was able to do my entire downstairs (living room, kitchen, dining room, play room, bathroom, laundry room) as well as the futon in the playroom, and the hardwood steps going upstairs. Quite a lot of space it covered! I have a heavy shedding dog, a cat, and a 3.5 yr old toddler so the floor is dirty 24/7. This vacuum did a great job with the fur on the floor, and the FurFinder light made me absolutely embarrassed to see just how much fur there was! We do have a large area rug in the living room that fur loves to hang out on, and that proved no issue at all for this vacuum. It sucked up the fur, sucked up the food crumbs from my toddler - it did it all. The absolute winner on this thing, in my opinion, is the FurFinder Upholstery Tool. Our dog is allowed on all furniture, but he spends most of his time on the futon in the playroom monitoring the front windows. It’s a velvet material, so it’s typically completely covered in his hair. This attachment was INCREDIBLE at getting the hair off. It is like a mini floor vacuum, just for couches. I love it! The vacuum also has Auto Adapt technology where it kicks into a higher suction gear if it detects a bigger mess. This is a nice feature as it does the guess work for you while conserving battery life. You can also manually change the suction level if needed. Something that stood out to me immediately was how smooth and quiet the floor head is at rolling across the floor. Obviously the vacuum makes noise: it’s a vacuum. But comparing to other vacuums’ wheel noises: this is superior. Extremely smooth and quiet. The collection cup is very easy to remove and dump out. I think at first glance it looks like a small collection cup, but for the amount that will likely be collected during the time you vacuum before the next charge, it’s sufficient. So you empty it every time and you’re good to go. Accessories: the accessories that come with this are great to be included. The vacuum itself also comes apart at 2 different spots for handheld usage. You can disconnect closer to the handle for a shorter hand held vac or disconnect lower toward the floor head for a longer hand held. Each of these have a built in crevice tool, which is nice to not have to attach another tool if you just need the crevice brush. Overall, this is a high-quality, fantastic stick vac to get any (dry) job done! I have previously used another brand, and I think they’re both pretty equal to each other. I would say the benefits lean more toward the Bissell with the attachments, the smooth and quiet roll, and the headlights. These features put this stick vac ahead of any other I’ve used, and I think it costs less, too! Great value! You will not regret this purchase.
