I bought it a month ago and that is not enough time to see how it is over the long haul. I Needed to have a blender that would pulverize the seeds in hot sauce. The old one we had would not do it. The food processor would not do it. But the Ninja did. And did a lot of hot sauce. I know that the vent on the back and the fan to keep it cool helps. Love the glasses to make smoothies with. Works great. So far a great blender.
Owned blender for 6 years then motor burning smell when used extractor blade and cup. Problem: the extractor blade bearing had worn out and was not spinning freely. Replaced blade and no more burning smell.
I have a VitaMix at my house. It is my 2nd one and I have had one for over 30 years. I wanted to buy something for my cabin but I didn't want to buy another VitaMix because they are very expensive. I bought the Ninja Professional Plus Blender DUO with Auto-iQ. I thought I would compare the two
I will tell you right off the bat that the VitaMix is much better in blending. The Ninja does not pulverize small seeds. I make a smoothie every morning that has nuts and seeds (plus fruits with seeds) and the Ninja does not make it perfectly smooth like my VitaMix does. The end product is quite grainy. After the smoothie cycle I run it on high for a bit but it doesn't seem to help.
Having said that, there are some things that I really like about the Ninja. It has a locking lid (my Vitamix does not). The container locks into the base (my Vitamix does not). The smoothie cycle is nifty because it automatically starts and stops which keeps it from locking up when there is a lot of ice (my Vitamix does not). It has a pour spout so that you don’t have to take the entire lid off to pour (the Vitamix does not). You can remove the blade (You can’t with VitaMix).
Although it isn't as good as my VitaMix for making a completely smooth smoothie I am still happy with my purchase. It seems to be sturdy and well-made and it has some nice features that my VitaMix does not. It will be just fine for the cabin. I would buy again.
très cher pour ce qu c'est, parce que cela arrive avec des rayures et des traces, et sur d'autres sites il était moins cher je me sens un peu roulé mais il fait bien le travail au niveau moothxie bientôt on va tester les compotes et les soupes
We had to replace our old Ninja. After researching I chose this model. It has all the features I wanted including a smoothie setting. Dishwasher safe too!
Recently bought this to replace a Nutribullet. We primarily use the blender for smoothies/shakes, but sometimes also for cooking (like spice mixes and thick stews), which the Nutribullet was not great for. I was between the Ninja and Vitamix, and chose the Ninja because I have owned other Ninja products that I was very happy with, and of course for the comparitive affordability. I'm really glad I did, so far. I've had it only a few weeks and used it only a handful of times so can't speak to longevity, but it does what it says it will, comes with the right accessories, and is easy to use. Thus far, I would recommend it.
As someone who spends an awful lot of time in the kitchen I am always looking for gadget or kitchen tools that will not only make my time in the kitchen easier but also items that will enhance my cooking and experimentation. Whether you are making smoothies, shakes, dips, salsas or bowls this is a great blender. In the past I have ow Ed blenders that were hard to open, maneuver or would shake. The ninja blender not only is an automatic timer but it also has a top which securely clicks in and a suction grip on the bottom which will keep it in safely.
