I bought this a month ago but I have been using a similar Ninja blender previously And I like the brand because it doesn’t leave any chunks it blends up frozen fruit well. I like the auto iq that stops when it’s all blended. I also love that it’s short enough to fit under my counter...The previous blender was too tall

This is the second Nina blender I’ve owned. The first one was amazing and jus wore out after years of daily use. Then I ordered the new one to replace my old one and the smoothie cups don’t stay locked. It constantly becomes disengaged and turns off. I can’t use it. Will be contacting Nina for a refund. Extremely dissatisfied.

I don't write many reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. I bought the original Ninja blender about 15 years ago. I don't usually "upgrade" while my original product is still working. But I bought this unit primarily because the full blender did not fit underneath my cabinet and the smoothie cup does (I primarily use the blender for smoothies). I like that the same motor can be used for both. So, I can keep the full pitcher inside my cabinet and the smoothie cup on the counter for easy access. I brought the older (still working) blender up to my seasonal cottage. Due to covid, I had not been there in 2 years. I went up this year and used the old blender while there. I could not believe the difference in ease of use and performance between that old one and this model. I used to think that was the best blender out there. There is no comparison - the blending features and power on this one really put the old model to shame. Great innovations, Ninja!

A good and bad blender

This blender does a great job making smoothies. However, after using it for several months the connector from the lid to the motor has loosened and the lid must be held down for it to run - a major inconvenience. Another flaw is in the design of the container:
It has no drain so dishwasher detergent collects in the base well and deposits in all the crevices of the motor base once it dries.

I was blown away from the moment I first opened the box. I threw some ice in it to see how well it blended and was blown away! The ice was so finely chopped it was like snow. Even using the cups with drinks and ice on the smoothie setting it makes professional grade Frappuccinos. I could not be happier with this blender.
