These are the best open ear buds for running! The sound is amazing. I love that I can be aware of what is going on around me. They are so light weight. I have conch piercings and these ear buds do not bother my earrings at all. 10/10 recommendation!!!

I started using the Bose Open Sport earbuds upon arrival. The sound on the earbuds is the same amazing quality you would expect from Bose products. I was a little concerned about attaching the earbuds to my ear. I was afraid they would be heavy and hurt my ear. I was presently surprised the earbuds were comfortable and easy to wear whether sitting, working around the house, or walking outside. I found the buttons for answering calls, changing volume, and other shortcuts very easy to use. These earbuds are great to use while listening to both audiobooks, podcasts, or music.

These headphones are a must for anyone looking for great sound, all day comfort, and the ability to hear your surroundings while still enjoying music, audiobooks and podcasts. They are very comfortable. The battery life blew me away with how long it lasted.

Why I Still Choose The Ultra Open Earbuds!

I’m in love with the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds 2, they’re even better than the first ones. I can make calls effortlessly now, making calls before could be a bit of problem hearing people clearly. They definitely fixed that issue! The battery lasts a lot longer, I hadn’t charged them over a week and I was still able to use them at work. Overall, the Ultra Open Earbuds are still my favorite out of every other earbuds I’ve tried, for sound quality, for how they feel on my ears, the connectivity etc.

Great Earbud Set with a Couple of Flaws

I have thoroughly enjoyed using the Bose Open Earbuds two. In my use, I generally use them for my walks with my dogs and doing work here at home. When I am in a quiet space, the sound is as immersive as can be for Open Earbuds. I have struggled for years with proper fitting earbuds, to the point of pain, so the design of the open earbuds, sitting just outside of my ear canal was a welcome, hurt-free surprise. Very, very comfortable. Two downfalls that lower my rating are phone calls and sound in noisy areas. It is hard to hear the person I am speaking with when making a call, and the person receiving my calls report it being very difficult to hear me. Seems a lot of the ambient sounds go through during calls. Additionally, while I know this is an open ear concept, there were times when I would “lose” the sound because of a noisy environment. While I don’t expect noise canceling features on this set, I wish there was a “loud” setting for the music to pump a little higher. Other than that, have been very pleased with the set and encourage anyone on the fence to give them a go. Another solid addition to the Bose lineup.

Great Innovating Earbuds...Not perfect though

My general rating is a solid 4-4.5. I was not really expecting the experience I had, specifically after been using my regular runningh earbuds for 2-3 years.
But need to say that it exceeded my expectation.
Pros: Price is in range of ther premium brand. Quality is great. Sound is good. Connectivity and response is excellent. For my surprise is extremely comfortable and it hold the grip withoiut bothering your ear (that was a big surprise).
Cons: Only three thing that are not deal breakers but could be better. First is lacking that Bose havy base punch. The volume up and down feature it's confusing and needs time for the user to adjust. Finally The case is great but the semi transparent lid looks "strange".
Definitley would recommend this product and would buy it again...

Not bad, not amazing

This is the first time I’ve used a sport version of the open earbud. I have the regular ones and they are outstanding. I’ve used the first generation for at least a year probably longer and it’s super for running long distances, especially in areas where you need to be able to hear the cars around you or keep an open eye for people who might be around if you’re running by yourself. The problem I have with the sport version is that well I’m sure they’re designed for the maximum weight lightness. They have us feel of being a little cheaper material the plastic that’s used feels a little flier and just doesn’t have the same level of comfort as the regular version. So I would be inclined to use the regular version as opposed to the sports version even though I understand what the intent was. It just didn’t come off as polished as some of the other products I’ve used for outdoor running.

Lightweight workout earbuds

I was provided the Sport Open Earbuds to review. All opinions are my own.
I usually always have one earbud in my ear at all times. I used these earbuds for my day to day as well as for my exercises. Overall, I think that are a great earbud. Very comfortable and lightweight, which is perfect for working out.
The earbuds are shaped like a ball rather than the flat surface like the open ultra earbuds. This to me created better sound overall. Calls came through perfectly and listening to audiobooks were very clear. The downside for my ears to this shape was that the back part would slide down and cause the inner ear to slip out. I will say this only really happened after I had been wearing for a long time. With workouts, it only happened once when I was doing an exercise on my back. They did make my ears ache after wearing for a long time but that's the case with most earbuds as I fear I have an odd ear shape. The Bose open earbuds are the only brand that actually stay in my ears without popping out.
They are of course very easy to connect to the Bose app so you can adjust sound quality. I admit, I don't use that feature much because I am content with the default settings. The app also lets you know the battery percentage as these do not announce it when you put them in your ears. The earbuds connected easily to my phone and tv and had really good range without losing sound quality.
They are lightweight and comfortable which is perfect for the workout aspect. I do a combination of weights and HIIT and only had them pop out once, as I said earlier. They connected to all my fitness apps and played my music apps at the same time. I used to use the ultras for my workouts and they would start to crackle as I sweat. I haven't had a single workout that these earbuds have crackled during.
Overall, I will continue to use these for my workouts. I think Bose makes quality products and these are no exception. I accidentally dropped the case on hardwood and it didn't break or change the quality of the earbuds.
