this is a really good and affordable mouse. I liked it because it had a left-handed option and is compatible with Logi Bolt keyboards, so I can share the single dongle between both devices.

I found the M650 to be decidedly cheap in material & assembly, remarkably lower quality than implied by the product picture. I will continue to use may Apple magic mouse as my daily mouse, assigning the M650 to my spares basket.
Decided to pass on a Logitech keyboard based on the M650.

So nice, I bought it twice!

This is the second M650 I've bought because I loved the first one so much. The buttons are practically silent and it fits my small hands nicely. My hand doesn't ever cramp up! After using the first one for my work computer for a while, I decided I needed a second one for my personal computer. I haven't had any issues at all and I expect it to last for years.

Ergonomics are great. My previous mouse was a Kensington Mouse-in-a-Box. This mouse has a similar form. Sensor seems very accurate, or good enough for my use (desktop publishing, including Photoshop work). Scrolling is nice. Clicking is very quiet.

I am right handed, but

I am right handed, but I mouse with my left hand to avoid any potential repetitive stress injuries. The M650 fits my hand and I like the thumb buttons. The only down side is for years with my previous Logitech mouse, I used the front thumb button for copy and the other button for paste. The M650 driver requires the buttons the other way around. It is taking this old dog some time to learn this new trick.

Large is not large

For a mouse that sold as “large” this is significantly smaller than the large Microsoft mouse I had used for the previous 15 years. Works great, but my hand cramps up after a couple hours of using it. If you truly need a large mouse, look elsewhere.
