Disappointed, hoping updates can fix issues

Very disappointed with the product - a first for a Garmin purchase, particularly a new release.
Pros: First off, it does most of what it advertises. It is a wearable that tracks key metrics and workouts at a high level.
Cons: It does not do this well in my opinion and doesn't accomplish the need I had for it, which was replace my Forerunner as a daily wearable so I could track my day-to-day metrics without tying myself to the watch as a 24/7 wearable.
1. Workouts - The Cirqa was advertised as being compatible with coach plans and I thought I'd be able to start a workout from the app while wearing the cirqa and follow the workout step-by-step, entering sets and reps as I complete them, just as I do on my Forerunner. That was not the case, although, again, it was advertised as such. Garmin support half helped me on this, heard me out, essentially agreed it's an issue not working as advertised, told me they submitted a ticket, and disconnected the session. I never got an email or follow-up; the first time I've been let down by their support. I should not be reaching out to a company like Garmin with their high quality products and attention to detail and getting an answer of basically "yeah that's weird, not sure"
2. Hardware: The Cirqa is pretty bulky and the strap wasn't executed well. It isn't very water resistant and is a hair magnet. Just doesn't feel comfortable to wear at all. The nylon band on the Apple Watch is comfortable and does a great job at not retaining water.
3. Sleep and day-to-day - I'm not sure what the sensor logic is, but it never knows when I go to sleep or when I wake up. On my watch I can end sleep either automatically or press of a button. With the Cirqa, I can be awake, up, moving around, and my sleep data doesn't populate on the Connect app after syncing until it decides it's ready to.
I think all of this can be fixed but it feels like they shipped a half-baked product.
Enjoying having a sleep score - this was the sole reason for purchase. Very much appreciate reasonable cost and no subscription. Some days it takes awhile for my sleep data to load - not sure what that’s all about but if I have an early event and can’t get that data, well, I figure it out but it would be nice to have that info as soon as I wake up. Not sure what to do besides wait. 🤷♀️
Disappointing for the price. Accessories are extremely expensive, the band is uncomfortable on my right wrist, there are no vibration alerts for notifications, and battery life is weaker than I expected. I’ll be returning it.
It’s a little disappointing considering how long it took for them to bring this product to market. I am already in the Garmin ecosystem which is the only reason why I waited so long for it. This device is twice as much money as the Fitbit Air that has comparable functionality. Positives: Cirqa was introduced with an available arm band Quality wristband Good battery life 10+ days Negative: The arm band was sold out right away and aftermarket versions are already available When an activity is started you can’t navigate anywhere on the app and are stuck on the current activity screen The current activity screen has little to no useful information about your current activity.
I am loving my cirqa the light weight and screen less design is what I had been looking for. It has become my daily wearable. I enjoy wearing mechanical watches but didn’t want my health data to lapse so I was stuck wearing two watches on each wrist. The cirqa solves this problem. Although I do wish the heart rate sensor would’ve been the gen 5 as this gen 4 lacks a barometer that doesn’t measure floors climbed. Other than that it’s a great addition to my Garmin wearables.
The features are great. Training readiness and status, sleep coach, HRV, etc. however, it’s way too big and distracting. It’s comfortable but I’m embarrassed wearing it. I’ve received comments and questions asking what it is but not in a good way. I’m returning it.
He needs to improve He doesn't breathe So after a few hours I feel suffocated The band on my arm You should find Also something they can wear hidden in your body
