I bought this before a trip to Italy and the picture quality is amazing! I have the original Campsnap and it’s great but the improvements with the new edition are so worth the upgrade to the new one.

ERR Message and Doesn’t Work after 2 Uses

Cool concept and worked great the first two times I used it. Pulled it out so excited to use it for 4th of July weekend and my camera just says “ERR” and won’t take pics. I’ve reset it and pulled the SD card out to reinsert it. I’m also frustrated bc the plastic cover for the charging cord came out and won’t reattach. Was fun for a minute now I just want to return and get a better camera. :( Bummer.

The camera is amazing! I love that it doesn’t have a screen and is so thin and light—it fits perfectly in your pocket. I also love that you can download and make your own filters. There are a lot of cameras like this, but none give you the freedom to change the filters, which makes Camp Snap #1. The only thing I would fix is portrait mode; the camera doesn't auto-rotate those photos. It’s not a big deal, but you do have to go in and rotate them all manually when you import them.

dude YES this camera is so sick actually, i tested it out at an aquarium with my friend and it was actually really nice to be able to mostly focus on what im looking at in person versus trying to get the shot right and going "we'll see how that turns out later"! i do have some notes to share as im figuring out the camera:
dont press that thing up against something, it messes up the focus and results in like crazy blurry photos... its kind of like a feel for it, you cant adjust the focus on the camera outright, but that leads for really cool landscape + scenic shots versus like up close on the ground-- or maybe theres a trick to it and i dont know lol idkk
the filters, custom and pre-built, are also really really cool i like the fact that i can tweak the pre-builts and any custom i want :D i love my little camera!!

I love my Camp Snap! I had initially been a little wary of the CS because it seemed a little gimmicky, but I am glad that I bought it in the end. As a mom who voluntarily does not have a smart phone, the Camp Snap has quickly replaced my heavy/expensive 35mm point-and-shoot camera that was normally a staple in my bag. I look forward to uploading the photos to my computer every so often and seeing the happy moments my family captured without having to deal with the whole mind torture of a smart phone. The picture quality is also right in the sweet spot for me--not too low-res, but also not the ultra HD pictures we've come to expect from smart phones. Personally, I do not care for the UHD pictures and am happy that I now have a camera that takes photos how I remember them looking: a little bit fuzzy and a little imperfect.

I have been seeing camp snap come up on my Instagram feed for so long. I finally caved and got the camp snap 2. I love the look and feel of analog, it reminds me of my childhood/teen years using disposable cameras. The one point that made me hold off on getting the camera originally was I did not want a complicated upload process. What really blew me away is the ease of transfer. It takes seconds and the pictures are right there in my camera roll. I am obsessed with how the photos turn out and the excitement of waiting until my day is over to upload my shots brings back a spark of joy similar to being a teen again and waiting to see what develops. I can cry thinking about it. I loved it so much, I ended up getting the pro as well.
