Purchased 2-3weeks ago and couldn’t be happier. I was planning on purchasing the Dyson but then this came along and I’m so glad it did. I’m a black woman with 4a/4b hair and this dryer does it all, from simply just drying to giving full on Dominican blowout vibes. Works even better on my yaki texturized clip ins.

I purchased the Dyson air wrap when it first came out but returned it because I couldn’t justify the hefty price tag. When I saw Shark came up with a dupe for half the price I jumped on it! I’ve literally gone from using a blowdryer, straightener for my edges, Revlon round brush and/or curling iron to one tool. It gets one less star in quality because the Dyson is heavier and seems more luxurious but the fact that you can twist the base 90° to form a blowdryer is a better deal. Some people have complained about the button placement of the cold shot but it doesn’t bother me one bit.

I ended up returning this after two weeks of trying to get it to work for me. I don’t think it works for my hair type (I have fine, straight hair) My friend with a coarser hair texture loves this!
Pros:

-Styles do not last & I found that when I slept (on a satin pillowcase with my hair in a silk cap) my hair would revert back to its original texture and frizz

The main con that pushed me to return was that my styles would only last one day even with proper care while sleeping. I would have to restyle my hair daily. Typically, my blowouts & curls last me around 3 days. Additionally, I live in a dry climate where humidity is not a factor impacting the longevity of my styles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the concept! For a regular dry and blowout, the tool works great. When using the curling attachments, the curls last about 5 minutes before falling out of my hair. Overall, I’m pleased and will continue to use it. I will just use another heat tool for curls.

I have been using this tool for a couple of weeks now and I like it. Overall I think is a great tool, almost a dupe for the Dyson brush. I like that the round head brush is much bigger because I have long hair. My only critique thus far is that the bristles on the brush are very hard and almost feel too rough on the hair.

I received this product two weeks ago and I absolutely love it so far. The curling wands were a little difficult to use at first, but after a little bit of practice, it gives my hair such volume and large waves which I love. I mainly use the paddle brush attachment for my regular use, and the roll brush for days that I want a little more volume in my hair. It's fantastic, and I love that it has so much power and the heat settings allow it to get REALLY hot which is also nice for my really thick long asian gene hair. I don't wash my hair everyday to prevent it from drying out, and also I used to be SO lazy to blow dry and style it afterwards, but now it's one of the things I look forward to! Also, with this price tag - it's so worth it. I hope it lasts a long time! I've already told a friend about it and she purchased it immediately and loves it also. My husband also uses the hairdryer with paddle brush attachment to style his hair at times, and he enjoys how light the dryer is.
