Shuts off randomly -disappointed

I really wanted to like the Flexstyle and it seemed to be of good quality although the cord is very cumbersome and bangs around a lot during use. Unfortunately, after less than 2 weeks, it started randomly shutting down whether I was using heat or not. I chose to return it for a refund rather than risk a replacement that I couldn't return after the 60 days period was up. Customer service was wonderful and processed my return quickly with no pressure to replace.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely satisfied with the flex style air drying styling system from shark. I’m usually never disappointed by their products. This blow dryer gets warm in about 45 seconds which helps when we are in a rush. My daughter and me use it very frequently after our showers. Especially during cold nights,who likes sleeping with wet hair. The blow dryer gets your hair dried and ready for bed or to go out about your day in 45 minutes. The best part of this deyer is the design that it has. It easily bendable so that you can store it correctly. Not only that but all the different wands that it has so that you only need one product instead of buying multiple ones to do what this one product does. The color is everything I could’ve asked for. Here is my biggest reason why I gave it a 5 stars. The long cord. Wow was I surprised when I seen how long this is. It’s great for being able to sit down in an area where the outlet isn’t so close to you but the extension cord is able to reach. That was the big plus on this product. Great Christmas gift for teens,and even moms like me who are always in a rush this is a great help because you’re curling your hair and also blow drying it at the same time.

Hands down amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that you can use it for multiple things. I love the slim design and that it can rotate. I spend a lot less time doing my hair since I can just switch out the the styler. One thing I do wish it came with is a little brush to clean the air vent.

I would buy this 100 x over the other brands by far. It makes getting ready so easy and fast. My daughter does beauty contest and this cut time by a million. It like a hair salon in one. It grabs your hair to make curling faster and so easy. You can do a blow out in less time, plus no heat damage. So easy to change the tools out, to do a blow out, or just dry your hair, or curl. Omg this is pagent worthy and half the price of that other brand. When I tell you it's worth it, I'm not lying. It's so easy to use and worth every penny. Obsessed

I'm able to blow dry and style my hair several different ways from curling to beach waves to lightly waved and my hair looks absolutely amazing! It looks like I get my hair professionally blowed dried after using! I live this thing. Attachments are easy to switch on and off and dry time is so fast! I absolutely love this thing and I definitely and highly recommend!!!!! You will not be disappointed.

It could be better

I like that it dries my hair a lot faster than the Dyson Airwrap but this product could be so much better. They could make the curling barrels longer for those of us with long hair and different sizes for tighter curls. The brush attachments glide through my hair easily enough but the boar bristles make my hair frizzy and not smooth. The round brush is a little big. It just seems like Shark took attachments from other brands and put them on the Flexstyle without improving on the technology. I like that you can make it into a hairdryer and it has a concentrator and the option for a diffuser for curly hair folks.

Great Buy when going from long hair to short hair

My hair is finger length on the sides and about 6 inches on top, the length on the top swoops off to one side.
After towel drying my hair, I use the Air dryer first to dry my sides in a downwards motion (15 sec). I add the oval brush attachment pulling my hair from the crown forward into my face for about (1 min), than I comb to the side. This gives my hair on the top of my head a nice swoop away form my face.
I had long hair my whole life and shaved it off two years ago. Before, I got the flexstyle I couldn't figure out how to style my short hair cut. I'm glad I got it.
