I originally purchased a product from Instagram in December for slightly less with great reviews and I still hadn't received it 3 months later with pty.promises that it was being manufactured but not dates for completion given. I then ordered the shark and am so glad I did because I got it within a week and am happily and very quickly drying and styling my very long and thick hair!!! Normally takes over an hour to dry my gait and then wand curl it. Now having a toddler I just couldn't be bothered trying any longer. The shark has changed that! A++++

The hair dryer itself is nice and the round brush attachment is nice, but that is really the only attachment that makes an impact on my hair. As someone with straight, fine hair the straightening brush is useless for me, and the curling attachments are just not easy or convenient to use. Not having use for the attachments means it really isn't worth the price tag. Using their suggested curling method of high airflow and high heat, the hot air being blown onto the head and especially around the ears is unbearable. Even on the lowest setting it is still uncomfortable and also takes 2-3 times as long to hold for a decent curl. It is also incredibly loud, both with attachments on and even louder without them, to the point that my ears hurt after using it. It is lightweight and I do like the round brush attachment, but for the price it just is not worth 1 attachment. For this price I can get a, blowdryer, round brush styler, and curling iron with plenty of money leftover.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was very excited about this styling system. Overall design is similar to its pricier competitor, but the value was a lot easier to stomach. The unit itself is great, but he bulky cord is very stupid and makes it very difficult to pack and takes up a lot of luggage space. The cord is as big as the unit itself. For that reason, I'm returning my unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used both brands of this style hair dryer and I love this one so much better!!y teenage daughter immediately stole this after I showed her how it works! Ha! We both have thick, curly, frizzy hair and this thing is awesome. Dries our hair so smooth and straight. I cannot recommend this product enough. Next time you see a deal on this, do yourself a favor and grab it!!

I have always struggled with styling my hair. I have never been able to achieve curls with any type of iron that I tried. With my Shark, it take 25 minutes to achieve perfect curls that look like a blowout. I finally feel like i can do things with my hair without a professional stylist!

I decided to buy the Shark because it was way more affordable than the Airwrap. Shipping took quite awhile which made me quite unhappy. I have had the Shark Flexstyle for some days now and I’m loving all its features. I like how I have control over the fan and heat settings. Ever since this came in I have replaced my usual blow dryer and my Revlon One-Step brush. It’s very lightweight so you won’t feel any heavy weight when holding. Curling my hair has been a learning process but I’m impressed by the curls the Flexstyle is able to produce. Definitely, invest in this hair tool if you want to save money and not buy the Airwrap. Only, downside would be the lack of a case I wish customers in the US could have an option on receiving a case like in the UK.
