[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am obsessed. So much better than the Dyson. Dryer is lightweight. My arm isn’t killing me after drying my hair for an hour. Powerful! Easy to use and the attachments are easy to change out. Dries my hair quick!

I love this hair dryer/styler my hair looks like it was professionally done. To be honest I was hesitant because of the price but it was fully worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a fan of my Revlon blow dryer and volumizer for years! Couldn't afford a Shark or Dyson. Now that I've been able to try the Shark dryer and styler, I have to say I will continue using my Revlon to dry my hair has the Shark round brush has sharp plastic bristles with no plastic ball coating to be more delicate on my scalp like the Revlon. The Shark also uncomfortable catches on my wet hair and pulls more. However, that same round brush on already dry smooth hair, helps smooth out my hair after a night of sleeping on my hair and the air wrap feature is amazing!!! Ibhave eliminated the need for a straightener and curling iron with the Shark! If you have naturally straight or smooth hair, just using the Shark as a regular blow dryer might work for you, because it will dry your hair in like a minute, but my hair is naturally thick, curly and wavy and would be all over the place.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros being it's Aesthetically pleasing to look at.
It's not too heavy.
Doesn't make a lot of noise compared to a regular hair dryer.
It drys your hair pretty quickly and leaves it shiny.

Now the cons for me are that it is a bit tricky to get the hang of at first, which I guess wouldn't be considered a con to some people. Another thing is that the brush extensions seem to be a little too big so when I'm using it, it feels awkward and like I can't get the right angle. And if you trying using the brush extensions well it's in the shape of a hair dryer, it's nearly impossible. Honestly there's more pros then cons and I love the curls it leaves with the curl extensions and it's practically effortless. I guess my only issues with this is the brush attachments.
I would definitely recommend and its 50 percent cheaper than the Dyson one.

Salon Fresh Look Everyday

I love the Shark FlexStyle. I read the reviews and thought this wouldn't work on my short straight hair. My daughter bought one and said I would love it too, so I gave it a try. I was a bit skeptical because my daughter's hair is long and very thick—the exact opposite of mine, but I am so glad I gave this a chance. My color used to fade after the first few washes and my little fly away hair sprouts were uncontrollable, but not any more. My hair looks like I just walked out of the salon everyday. My hair looks healthy, the color is not fading, and there are NO fly away sprouts sticking up. I use it everyday on dry or wet hair and it is the most amazing hair styling product I have ever used. If you are on the fence like I was—wondering if it would work for you—go for it!! This is a purchase you will not regret!! My only regret is not buying it sooner.

The best hairdryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the best hairdryer I’ve ever used!! It’s amazing. It takes me less than 30 minutes to dry and curl my hair! I love all the attachments for the hairdryer. It is better than the Dyson hairdryer. Don’t waste your money on the Dyson, buy the shark!

Overall happy but a few misconceptions

I bought this a few months ago and wanted to really learn how to use it before writing a review. First off I’ll start by saying I do really like it overall and don’t regret buying it. However, I feel that it doesn’t work quite like I was expecting or dry as fast as advertised. I’ll start with the positives. The size is really nice and it fits in my hand well and easy to hold. I read some complaints about it being loud but I don’t think it’s as loud as a lot of standard hair dryers. The attachments are easy to switch out and I have come to use the round brush attachment almost daily, even just to smooth out and freshen up my style between washes. The curling wands are interesting and took a while to figure out. I ended up finding some YouTube videos that were helpful. I have medium-thick, long hair with somewhat of a natural wave. The “curl” I get is more of a very loose wave. If you use the left and right side wands respectively and curl it the way Shark instructs, it mostly curls the ends and creates a hot roller look. I use the opposite wand per side and flip it upside down so I can wrap the hair around the barrel away from my face and leave the ends loose to get more a wave. It adds nice volume as it creates the waves.
Now for the cons. The drying time is not any faster than my old standard dryer and in fact, may actually take longer. Especially if I use the round brush tool and dry it completely. Also, there’s no way you can actually dry your hair without heat. It would take hours for anyone with a reasonable amount of hair so that was a disappointment. And the curling wands don’t work at all without heat. In retrospect this make sense but since Shark claims you can dry and style without heat, I was hopeful.

WOW I Cannot Recommend More!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite styling tool yet! I will say it is a bit heavier than typical tools, but the amount of saving this does to my hair is incredible. The airflow is so much healthier than direct heat and I love all of the attachments. The end of the tool even adjusts to precisely blow out sections of hair. The power and heat have three adjustments and there is also a left and right curling attachment. Once you get used to holding it and using it, it will be your new favorite.
