Never buying a convenience store slush again!

I am loving this machine. I’ve always wanted a slushy machine for home, so I was very excited when I saw this online. Since buying, I have made soda slushes in several different flavors, an iced tea slush, a milkshake, and a frappe. Sodas freeze the best.
I cannot recommend making a milkshake (even though it’s in the included recipe book) in this machine as it did not turn out well and just made a mess that was hard to clean up. Any drinks with dairy seem to be harder to clean up.
Overall, the machine is very easy to assemble, very easy to use, and easy to clean. I usually make my drink and clean the machine immediately after dispensing so I don’t have to worry about it afterward. It only takes about five minutes to clean.
I do wish that the auger inside was designed slightly differently so that all of the slush would dispense out because I am always left with several ounces left in the machine that will not dispense. Not a huge deal, but I usually have to keep a little scraper near the machine so I can scrape it out and put the left over in my cup.
It’s a fun machine to have around the house and has been a huge hit with my niece and nephew when they come to visit. I highly recommend this machine for anyone who loves their frozen beverages.

* One recommendation for Ninja - this machine should come with a couple of clear plastic cups with the domed slushy lid. This would really give the feel of having a convenience store slushy at home and would just add to the fun.

Good overall, needs minor improvements

I have had this product for a few weeks now and overall it is good. I would say it still needs some improvements to make it the perfect appliance. The spout has grates which make the beverage dispense at a snail like pace which can be frustrating. It also will not keep any liquid below 16oz cool so if you load it with the 16oz minimum to start and drink some but leave a little in the machine it will quickly melt even if the machine is on. The machine is pretty easy to clean however, you cannot remove the metal barrel that gets cold for cleaning which makes it difficult to thoroughly disinfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!
