Purchased the vented crown molding CM6V-8KBC to support re-circulation and match the gorgeous range hood 8KBC-30 we recently purchased. This is a standout range hood that will be the center of attention in our kitchen - deservedly so. Just wish it had Off-Dim-On light instead of Off-On.
Customer Service provided the exact model number needed, and has been more than helpful for any questions I've had.
The extreme care in shipping was absolutely stunning - the product could have withstood a small tactical nuclear weapon!

Very easy to install, add the plate while securing the hood mounting box and literally takes 1 minute to install the crown molding after hood is installed. However, the seams do not fit together flush. Depending on what angle you look at the crown molding, determines how much the seam stands out. I tried several times to adjust, switch sides, etc. and it got more noticeable each time so I quit messing with it. Molding does look nice and most everyone else who see the hood probably wouldn’t notice but if you are particular on finish (especially when you do it yourself) this seam will bother you.

I bought this crown molding kit to converted the range hood into an inside venting unit. There are very few range hoods that are wall mounting with a chimney to the ceiling that can be converted. I am very pleased.
