Bought this unit for my new kitchen remodel. I was seeking a high end look at a reasonable price and am very happy I went with the Zline product. The unity is very well constructed and looks very high end...I had been looking at some other models that were inserts at twice the price, so when I received the unit and opened the box I was very impressed by the quality. Easy to install too, did it myself and I am just a DIY homeowner...the only knock is the install manual is very general, you have to figure out the brackets for the crown on your own and the Zline videos are just as vague...but found a youtube video of an online by a professional contractor that showed an install in detail...turned out to be very easy once I saw the video.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was looking for a professional grade range hood that would ensure that I could vent cooking odors well AND be quiet enough to have conversations in the kitchen while it was on.
This hood delivers. Great suction and quiet enough (on lower settings) to comfortably chat at the island.
Have not had to clean the filters yet, but they are dishwasher safe, so I can’t imagine it will be too difficult.

The hood itself is quality and the crown gives it the finishing touch. A must have to dress up and give your hood a professionally installed look, when actually you did yourself. It's Sooo easy.

Looks great. Well worth the cost. I installed with my new hood vent and it was easy (for the most part) with a nice tight fit. The only issue I had was I had to grind/cut out the panel the molding slides on to make room for the duct. The opening did not match where the duct ran up. Everything was straight and square so I’m not sure why. Not a big deal to me. I highly recommend.

I installed this hood several weeks ago and have found it to be efficient, attractive,quiet and a great value over all. I would have given it a 5 star review had there been an available crown trim. I am a retired contractor so I may have an advantage over some DIY folks but installation is easy. Be careful with you electrical connection and venting locations. It arrives so quickly I would advise having it on had to assure ease of installation.
