[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my Fold 8 for a few days now and I have to say it's the best foldable on the market currently. It's the best form factor. Slim and lightweight, fits in your pocket without issue, and unfolds into a mini tablet perfect for consumption. Whether it's videos, music, social media, web-browsing, it's the perfect device. The battery is long-lasting, and the display is vibrant. I can catch up on my latest shows on the move. I chose this device because it brings forth innovation, it shows what Samsung has always been about. Pushing boundaries. Can't wait for the next Fold. You better believe I'll be there.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new form factor is why I chose this device. It fits comfortably in my hand and the processing power is substantial for more than everyday use. I knocked one star because it doesn't fit in nearly all of my wireless chargers because of either the new width or the camera bump sticking out. (Come on phone manufacturers, it's long overdue to get the cameras flush with the phone.)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z Fold 8 because I have the Trifold and had all the folds and wanted to try this form factor. I use it for watching videos and youtube. and play games.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coming fronm the fold 7, I chose the standard fold 8 over the Ultra. The trade off for 100MP camera vs the novel shape/size of the phone concerned me at first but I am extremely happy with my choice. Fold 8 feels more natural to hold with its passport shape and the front screen is more usable. It also fits in pockets more comfortably; absolutely loving the small form it has when folded. I've only had it for a day and the battery life is noticeably improved. Phone super snappy. The "wide" fold 8 is a hit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owed ever flip since they were introduced. The Flip 7 was a huge improvement over the 6. This new passport size phone was intriguing. Sure a larger screen is nice to have. But keepingnit comfortable in the pocket has been the issue. I put my passport in my pocket when traveling and there never seems to be a problem. Would the same be true with a phone the size of a passport? I'm blown away. Being able to run three apps side by side at the same time is so useful. It's fast. It's snappy. It looks wonderful. No complaints.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew right during the Samsung event that I was in love. I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 right off and pre-ordered it the same day. Of course I ordered pistachio since it was a limited color. As a former owner of the Z Fold 7, THIS is the device I've been waiting for. Great form factor, beautiful screen, excellent audio and the ultimate WOW factor. If you want to dip your toes in the foldables scene, this is the perfect phone to start with.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and so far I’m extremely impressed. One of the biggest improvements is how light and compact it feels for a foldable. It no longer feels like you’re carrying a bulky tablet in your pocket, while still giving you a large display whenever you need it.
The inner display is excellent—bright, smooth, and great for watching videos, browsing, reading, and multitasking. Performance is extremely fast and responsive, and battery life has been solid considering the size of the displays.
The only issues I’ve encountered have been minor software bugs. Some third-party apps occasionally have screen sizing or orientation issues when switching between the inner and outer displays. I’ve also noticed the icons occasionally glitch when transitioning between the two screens. These issues are intermittent and haven’t significantly affected my overall experience, but there is still some room for better software optimization.
Overall, the Fold 8 finally feels like a foldable that can comfortably be an everyday phone rather than just a cool piece of technology. It gives you the convenience of a regular phone with a small tablet available whenever you need it.
