Galaxy fold 8, MUCH better than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy fold 8 (not ultra) due to the new form factor. I was still on the fence about many other features folds provide but never owned one so decided to take the plunge. I was shocked when i took this thing out of the box and felt how light it was and how thin it was. Despite being so thin it eels super premium in the hand. The crease is also completely invisible to me when the screen is on and almost invisible with it off. The battery life was a concern I had going in but to my surprise I have no issue with it lasting all day we medium to light-heavy use. I have pretty much everything enabled so I am sure there are options to make battery life even better but I don't need it. The speakers are very good, loud and very clear sounding. I'm sold on this device and have absolutely no regrets coming from an s26 Ultra. Go buy this device, you will love it!

z fold 8 - wide aspect works

I spend more than half the time on the outer display, which is how I imagined. I get a rewarding experience when I unfold and watch a movie or YouTube video. Hands down the best phone I've ever had.

Great size but I'd still go with the ultra

Great phone but always thought the cover screen was a bit narrow and the fold out screen was never utilized fully when playing movies. Made the jump to the fold 8 as the new wider front screen would be more functionable however after using the new phone I kinda miss the taller screen. I think I would go with the taller ultra next time. Still super awesome phone.

Fell in love all over again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Samsung foldable phone, and it took seconds to know that I chose the right phone. I originally had a Samsung Z Fold 2 and absolutely fell in love with it. I had it for 4 year without an issue, until on the it just wouldn't turn on. Around this time Google was coming out with their second generation foldable phone. I've had a Google pixel before and thought why not. The only real good thing about that phone was the size. It was smaller and wider then what the Z fold 8 ultra is. It gave me nothing but problems for the less than two years I had it. Once I saw that the Z fold 8 line was becoming more passport style I knew I had to have it. I wasn't wrong from the moment I've un-boxed the phone I haven't been able put it down. I didn't think I would love a foldable as much as my Samsung Z Fold 2 but I was wrong. I have a brand new phone love in my life and I couldn't be happier. I would recommend this phone to anyone!
