Great new shape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had several folds and flip and I must say the best part about switching to the fold 8 is the new shape. The short and wide body feels good to hold and the weight is very exceptional. Hopefully down the line Samsung invests more in this form and keeps improving.

Gets too hot during normal use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose Samsung because I’ve owned several Galaxy devices over the years and have generally liked the displays, features, multitasking, and overall ecosystem. Unfortunately, my experience with this device has been disappointing because it gets noticeably hot during normal everyday use.
I use my phone for social media, streaming, messaging, browsing, photos, navigation, and other typical daily tasks. I don’t expect a phone in this price range to become uncomfortably warm doing basic things. The heat has made me concerned about long-term reliability and has taken away from what otherwise could be a great experience.
I’ve owned many Samsung phones, so I’m familiar with how these devices normally perform. This one does not feel right to me, and the overheating issue is the main reason I’m giving it 1 star.
I chose Samsung because of my past positive experiences with Galaxy devices, but unfortunately this device has not lived up to those expectations.

Just what I wanted!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy fold 8 because wanted true one handed operation and the large inner screen for content. It's like they read my mind. And coming from a Z fold 7, I'm quite impressed on how much I don't miss it at all. Great phone.

Amazing phone with so much more potential

I chose the Z fold and I am completely blown away by how much I enjoy using it. Its so much easier to use with one hand and It fits perfectly in hand. Having the ability to change to a larger screen is a gamechanger and the aspect ratio is very noticeable. I would have to move to a computer in the past if I needed to focus on something but now I just open the phone. Everything is easier from social media, quick work tasks, multitasking, you name it. Honestly can go back to anything else after this phone. Everyone is knocking the camera but unless you actively change setting (which 90% of users don't do) you wont notice a difference.
My ONLY knock on this phone is the missing pen accessory. It makes so much more sense for this phone to have a pen over the S series. Even if it wasn't sold with it it would make this phone perfect

Best foldable yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the z fold 8 for it's unique form factor. U can use it many different ways, one handed, tablet form, landscape form. Phone is super smooth, snappy and has excellent battery life. Best phone I've used. Way to go Samsung!!!

Lack of Flex mode is a deal breaker for me

Lack of flex mode is a deal breaker for me. Samsung should have done better job announcing such departure from a design that many customers now expect and rely upon. Camera bump and quality were underwhelming for the price. I had to return.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Passport Form Factor of the Future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite my affinity for iphones, I chose to return to Samsung for the Z Fold 8 because of its Passport size and 90 degree corners! It is the perfect size phone that is pleasant to hold, straightforward to use, and adaptable for the current need for mobile devices that act as both phone and mini tablet. I am confident in this phone's adaptability for my work, play, and travel - it even fits perfectly into my car's wireless charging tray (bonus!). The pistachio color is goegeous and coordinates beautifully with the Samsung blue carbon case. Can't wait to customize this beauty!
