Just the perfect size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been thinking about getting a fold for a few years now. But every time I would hold the typical tablet size fold in my hand, it just didn't feel right. My thought process was that I would probably end up using the phone closed more than open, and therefore I would have a thicker phone most of the time. When the fold 8 came out, I was intrigued because it had a smaller form factor when closed. And the thickness when closed is not that much thicker than a regular phone.

Therefore, I chose to get the fold 8 instead of the fold 8 Ultra. I have not been excited for a phone in a really long time. It's such a great form factor, I think this is the future of foldables.

Fold 8 is an amazing device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Fold 8 due to the wider front screen and I have not been disappointed. I traded in my Fold 5. I also have the S26 Ultra as I have two lines. The S26 ultra was my main personal phone and the Fold 5 was my work phone (mainly emailing, signing documents, opening documents). Since I have had the Fold 8, it has become my personal phone and the S26 Ultra is now my work phone that I mainly only use during business hours. I use the front screen only mainly 98 percent of the time. I play a lot of the cooking style games, and scroll threads and reddit and the front screen is perfect for that. I used the Fold 5 less due to the narrower front screen which is why it was my work phone. I am a Samsunger so I have owned many of their devices starting with the red flip phone AT&T had many years ago. Keep up the great work Samsung!

Glad I chose to continue using Z fold 8 phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a user of the Z fold series phones starting with the Z fold 2. I chose to continue with the Z 8 rather than the ultra Z 8 because of the new design. I wanted to test the new passport Sizing. I will tell you the new size is a huge change for the better, concerning handling, multi-tasking, and portability of carrying the phone outside of the house. It's masterful Battery power increased is noticeable. Screen brightness improved.
With the new passport Sizing the phone offers more configuration views when holding the phone up and or sideways. However, after 3 weeks of usage, I am getting used to optimizing the views available. It's tricky at first, but once you find how the phone flips views, you will realize the views are amazing for work flow multi-tasking. I run a business full time. I always use my phones to the max. I traded my Z fold 6 for this phone, I still have my Z fold 7, which I will trade for the Z fold 9. I buy unlocked phone up front. No plans. I LIKE new models to keep up with the technical advances. Android for ever changing the landscape for customization on your personal phone. MIKE G.

Design is so cool - the perfect size - like a little passport book - love it - stylish - trendy - exciting. Beautiful screen - good battery life - decent cameras. The perfect phone size factor. My most favorite phone ever. I got the 512GB Pistachio version.

Mixed feelings

I love the new design form, but videos of most social media apps, like Facebook, Instagram, Ticktock, YouTube, etc, are not formatted to fit the screen of this phone, legs and heads are half seen, regardless if it's titled horizontal or vertical. Samsung needs either to make some software adjustments or get in touch with the developers of the above apps so they can make the necessary changes, specially for the new screen format of this phone. Also it can definitely use larger battery., at least 6000 mAh, another important improvement is to get rid of the camera cutoff whole opening, especially in the inner display, it definitely causes problems.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I chose this phone because I think it is so cute and I love that it is purple because that is my favorite color it is very easy to use and I can tell how well it is made I first saw it on TikTok and I knew I had to have it I've had it about a month now and im absolutely in love with it! 100000 out of 10 recommend!
