I have used iPhones for the past 15+ years, and I chose the Z Fold 8 after holding it at the store for only 5 seconds.
The folding mechanics are smooth and satisfying! The size is PERFECT! So thin even when closed. 1 hand usability...10/10...2 hand usability...10/10!
Do yourself a favor and get this phone, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic Foldable That Exceeds Expectations

The foldable design is what immediately stands out, but what makes this phone so impressive is how well everything comes together. When folded, it feels like a premium smartphone that is comfortable to use, and when opened, the large inner display gives you an entirely different experience.
The displays are bright, sharp, and smooth, making everything from watching videos and browsing the web to multitasking feel fantastic. Having the extra screen space is especially useful when working with multiple apps at once. The ability to quickly transition between the outer and inner screens makes the Fold8 feel incredibly versatile.
Performance has also been excellent. Apps open quickly, multitasking feels effortless, and the phone handles demanding tasks without hesitation. The cameras produce great-looking photos with plenty of detail, and the overall software experience feels polished and responsive.
The build quality is another major highlight. Despite being a foldable, the phone feels sturdy and thoughtfully designed. The hinge operates smoothly, and the device has a premium feel in the hand.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 for my wife's bday present

I bought online exclusive color, Pistachio, and she loves not only the color but also the new screen size of the Galaxy Fold.
Everything is improved from previous model and it is a totally new experience using different aspect ratio of the screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m absolutely loving my Galaxy Z Fold 8. I chose the Fold 8 because the new passport-style form factor is the best change Samsung has made. The front screen finally feels like a normal phone, and unfolding it into that wider canvas is a game-changer for how I work. I use it daily to multitask, usually running work chats and documents side-by-side without feeling cramped, and kicking back to watch videos or stream shows on the main display is incredible. It’s easily the best upgrade I’ve made for getting things done on the go.
