The quality of this camera is great, the pan and Zoom is like no others. I had a set of Google Nest cameras and the WYZE solar camera totally blows them away. If the cameras had more of a universal mount, I would buy more. I had to Jerry rig up a mount for the liter coming off my gutter to fix it in place. I refuse to drill into the side of my house. I haven’t had it long outside so I can’t answer anything regarding the solar option yet.

Been installed on front of house monitoring the driveway for a few weeks, was able to set the motion just short of the main road, no false alarms, track cars pulling into the driveway then picks up the person and track them to the door.
Battery returns to 100% during the day even after multiple days of clouds and rain.
Excellent product!!

Not as easy to install as other Wyze cameras. I’ve had other Wyze battery cameras that were easier to connect using clamps, etc. so far, I’m not using it because I have yet to find the best way to set it up.

They were easy to install and setup.
Charged using solar panel even when it was slightly cloudy.
They all maintain a full charge of 100% even when on constant use. Mine are active 24 hours a day.
Night vision and detection is really helpful and clear.
