Not worth the $. It blurs and takes forever to show a clear picture. It can’t see very far without blurring the picture, too. I have older Wyze cameras with much better resolution than this thing. I am so disappointed in this camera. I don’t know if it’s because it’s solar powered or if the camera is just garbage but this one is not worth installing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing Camara that requires very little charging

This camera is a lifesaver. I needed one that gets only direct sun very late in the afternoon. The charge on this one is keeping pace with the demand. It only gets full sunlight now from about 2PM until 5PM. I have great peace of mind with this one able to survey my entire back yard as needed.

Works better than expected. This unit replaces a wired Pam Cam that finally died. The ability to mount the solar panel on the camera as a single integrated unit is an excellent option. The unit is mounted on a garage separate from the house and covers the house and driveway. Living rurally wireless cams are essential. The voice announcement that they are being recorded certainly catches people off guard but is my favorite feature. Definitely a good value
