Shortly after receiving the camera I received an email from Wyze stating I should not use it. Some issues with screws coming in contact with the battery. I'm waiting for a resolution before installation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the fact that it’s solar powered and that attracts and rotates and moves so far I’ve had it for several weeks and it’s been working well the fact that it’s not battery powered or lying on a long power cord makes it even better probably won’t get another one as I like to pan feature in it

They asked for a review but told me that I shouldn’t use my product. They said they’ve pulled the item due to a safety concern, stop using my product and they’ll let me know a further action once they figure it out. Or, if I haven’t installed the product… DONT and they’ll figure that out instead. I stopped using my product… but they asked for a review of it. Idk what to do.

Hi there! We’ve self-reported a safety issue with this product to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”). We will work with the CPSC to develop corrected written and app instructions for setting up the Solar Cam Pan as part of a thorough Consumer Product Safety Commission review of the product. We are shutting down the option to set up the Solar Cam Pan in the Wyze app.
We’ve received reports of the long wood screws being used to attach the solar panel to the camera instead of the short machine screws. When used in that location, the wood screws may breach the brass protective inserts, damage the internal battery, and create a safety risk.

Great farm camera! You do need to make sure it’s within your routers distance, I placed one and couldn’t get it to work and was approximately 15 feet outside the distance. I moved it and perfection! I currently have 5 and need to get 2 more.
