I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get the panel angled where it needed to be. But there’s plenty of cord length to work with. I don’t ever have to worry about it being charged because it solar charges during the day as needed. I am a bit disappointed that it hasn’t picked up every person or car that comes within the frame of the camera. So that’s a little disappointing but for the most part it’s great.

The video quality is very good. The tracking is very good. The time to connect to the SD card very slow and I have a very fast mesh network and the unit is 5 feet from the nearest node.

I already have the camera in another place but wanted the convenience of a solar powered option. The solar panel does not charge as well/quickly as I thought it would. I am trying several different angles and direction to try to maximize the solar component.
