I bought this as a replacement for a previous Tumi duffle (with wheels) that I've owned for the past 20 years - a testament to the brand's durability. Lightweight, robust construction, cavernous interior, posh styling, and the perfect travel partner. Looking forward to more travels this year and in the future.

I own other TUMI products, so making the decision to purchase this set did not disappoint. I recently took it on a trip to Europe, the luggage was durable and spacious, which gave me just enough space to bring home gifts and souvenirs.

Bright Red - Nah it's sorta red, sorta brick, sorta maroon..... But oh the photos on the website look great!

The product arrived and rather than a bright vibrant red, it's more brick or maroon in color. (The photos on the website are deceptive) It looks like my mom's luggage, not something that I will ever enjoy. I have bought thousands $$$ in TUMI and been happy with my purchases. However apparantly when they adhesive a monogram (that can easily be removed) the product is non-refundable. Even if the color displayed is clearly not what arrived. Boo TUMI! and holding for hours or two days for an email is never appreciated.

Easy to maneuver but somewhat heavy

Pros- the wheels! Makes maneuvering through city traffic a breeze no matter how heavy it is. The looks are also quite nice. I can also say that despite multiple times being checked in on a recent trip to Japan, there is hardly a scratch on the suitcase. I also loved the expandable option. I will say that this isn’t the lightest suitcase so if you pack it to the brim, you may encounter luggage fees for a heavy bag. Otherwise love this suitcase

Broke after less than one year.

Wheel fell off after having it less than a year. To get it repaired I have to pay to shop it back, and find a box big enough to ship it in. It gets scuffed very quickly. For the price I was disappointed.

Definitely no for a re-purchase. I bought two of these for two recent trips this summer and they really did not hold up well after TSA. While I understand scuffs and scrapes are sort of the expectation through TSA, I almost feel this luggage is more prone to this type of damage due to its many edges (swirl pattern). I think this luggage is too expensive to justify a re-purchase; the value really isn't there. I really am kicking myself for not getting the aluminum versions, which seem way more durable and would last me longer. Giving this a 3-star for the fact that the luggage was extremely light --- that did help me pack a lot more than I expected without having an overweight bag.

We haven't used it, yet, but it's a beautiful suitcase and it seems to have plenty of room for me to pack all my belongings for a 15-day cruise thanks to the expandable feature. We are hoping for great results and durability, as we have had horrible experiences with our Samonsite luggage...wheels and handles breaking off and causing quite a disruption on our last vacation.
