Lightweight. Sturdy. Smooth. Expandable. Perfect for family trips!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom who often travels alone with a toddler, this suitcase has made traveling so much easier. What made me so excited was how chic and versatile it looks. It’s stylish enough for me to use on family trips, but classic enough that my husband can take it on his business trips, too. I also love how lightweight it is. When you’re flying and trying to stay within airline weight limits, I’d rather use that weight for my stuff than for a heavy suitcase.
What really impressed me was how much this suitcase holds. Traveling with a toddler means packing for two people. Between her clothes, shoes, diapers, snacks, toys, booster seat, and all the little extras that come with traveling with a child, I usually run out of space. The expandable feature gave me the extra room I needed, and I was surprised by how much I was able to fit inside without feeling like I was cramming everything in. The zip pockets kept me sane for how I was able to organize everything. The hard shell kept my toddler’s fragile items safe and secure. The built-in AirTag pocket was another feature I really appreciated because it gave me peace of mind when checking my bag.
The suitcase is also very easy to maneuver. When I’m traveling solo, I’m usually pushing a travel stroller with one hand and my luggage with the other, so I need something that moves smoothly without fighting me. The wheels glide effortlessly and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to roll on carpet, too. Overall, it feels well made, thoughtfully designed, and practical, especially for parents who are juggling a lot while on the go.

Modern with Top Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am truly impressed with this suitcase. It has a nice sleek appearance and shows class and quality. It also proves to have the quality with its hardshell sturdiness and smoothness. This is definitely well made. I love all the compartments inside. It has the two full size compartments (top and bottom) and then it has 3 separate zippered compartments that can be used. Oh, and the extra expansion zipper is great. You can fit a lot inside this suitcase along with keeping everything organized. It also comes with a tote bag. The suitcase glides really nice on hard ground as well as carpet. The wheels are very smooth. The combination lock is a nice feature, and it is very modern looking. Even the Id compartment shows quality. Check out my pic's attached. You will not be disappointed. This is a very impressive suitcase.

Pristine Luxury Luggage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. I’m not even sure where to begin. When I opened the box, I assumed I’d immediately see the piece of Tumi luggage. However, it was encased in a perfect white drawstring bag. Which not only kept it in great condition but could also be used for dual purposes! I opened the bag and there it was, my favorite color (black), a beautiful piece of luggage. It’s exemplary! Right off the bat, the look and design is perfect. It’s a great quality material, hard shell, and looks fancy. The expansion option was the next thing I noticed. I tend to pack a lot when I travel so having the option to make it bigger, was better. The wheels on this thing have something in them that could make them roll perfectly over rocks, I’m not kidding! It rolls amazing and it can be maneuvered any way you want it to go. I was able to fit a lot in this bag and that’s saying something. I always overpack and this definitely did the job! Lastly, I was very happy with the fact it has a lock on it. You can set your own code and it keeps the zipper pulls locked in. I couldn’t be more happy with this suitcase. It’s exactly what I was needing as my older suitcase has been through it! 100% recommend and you won’t be disappointed.

Quality piece of luggage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I take a few trips a year so I’m always looking for good quality luggage that is stylish yet functional. I also want it to last because who wants to invest in something that will break and not be worth it in the end.
I’m really impressed with this TUMI checked suitcase. Right away, the look and design caught my eye. It has a clean, sleek appearance that looks high end without being overly flashy. A really nice, thoughtful touch is the dedicated pocket for an AirTag, which gives me total peace of mind when checking it. I also love the dedicated name tag and also that it has a build in lock. The overall build quality is top notch, too. The material is incredibly durable, the heavy duty zippers glide smoothly, and every handle feels solid and built to last.
The expansion option is my favorite feature. Unzipping it gives you a ton of extra depth, and I was easily able to pack an extra week's worth of clothes and bulky gear without having to force it shut. Even when it's packed completely full, the wheels work like a charm. It rolls like butter over smooth airport floors and handles carpet or bumpy sidewalks with zero effort, making a massive bag surprisingly easy to maneuver. If you want to invest in a great piece of luggage, this is the one. I definitely recommend it.

Smooth and Spacious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This suitcase is great quality! It's spacious (especially with the expansion zipper) and has well-designed interior organization and dividers. I used it to pack all of mine and my baby's things for a weekend at the beach, and everything fit and was easy to locate during our trip. The wheels roll incredibly smoothly in all directions, the hard outer shell is sturdy while still staying lightweight, and I love the built in TSA lock and tracking ID to help recover your luggage. It also comes with an antimicrobial laundry bag which is a nice bonus.
The rolling handle didn't seem as sturdy when the suitcase was packed heavily, but has held up well so far. It would be nice if some of the interior pockets were see through or waterproof, as I enjoyed those functions in my previous suitcase. I also think it could use another grab handle on the side so that you can easily maneuver the bag from any angle.
Overall, though, a great suitcase and I would recommend it.

Sleek, sophisticated and spacious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was shocked just how much I can fit into my Tumi Ventra Large Expandable suitcase. The expandable feature allows me to slim down the suitcase when I don't need as much space, but expand for longer family trips. The expandable feature is especially great for traveling back home after a long vacation with souvenirs. I love how the Tumi Ventra Large fits into my van with both my single and double strollers in tow. I went from having to take 2-3 suitcases for a family of four to just this one! I can easily fit clothing for the entire family for five nights, with the addition of items such as a pillow and pumping supplies. The suitcase is both practical and high-end with features including several zip pockets, zip divider, laundry bag and AirTag pocket. The Tumi Ventra is durable, allowing me to feel at ease when traveling through the airport. I love how easy it is to negotiate crowded areas due to the Tumi's smooth maneuvering. The wheels glide with no difficulty whatsoever. I cannot wait to continue traveling with the Tumi Ventra!

Tumi Ventra Large Expandable - a Wonderful Travel Companion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tumi Ventra is the best luggage I have owned so far and here is why: I travel internationally for long stretches of time hence always have one or two checked in luggage. The size (large) of this Tumi luggage is perfect with a well-thought interior design. Unlike other designs I own, the zipper runs through the center, splitting it into two equal halves. This makes placement of items inside very easy and neatly. Each side also has its own zippered cover. There are also additional compartments inside the Tumi luggage and even a small pocket for your GPS tracker if using one. If one needs to live out of luggage during a trip, one can have very easy access to their items with this layered system. Compression straps inside are placed in a vertical manner rather than horizontal, making them easier to fasten. These straps are also adjustable. With the expansion option, one can fit a lot of items inside the Tumi luggage, especially useful for the gifts and other items purchased during the trip. The luggage inside and outside is made of high-quality materials and feels very sturdy. The wheels roll smoothly. The well thought zipper design makes it very easy to zip it open and close. The zippers can be secured with a TSA approved lock. Overall, the outside design is very sleek looking. Its empty weight is on the lighter side as well.

Sleek Design and Incredible Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tumi Ventra Large Expandable Checked Suitcase in black genuinely exceeded my expectations after taking it on a recent 8-day trip.
The first thing I noticed was the look and design. It is extremely sleek and modern with a really clean, premium finish. The black color looks especially nice in person and has that high-end, polished look.
The quality is truly a 10/10. This is my first hard shell suitcase, as I’ve always used soft-sided luggage in the past, and the difference is immediately noticeable. It feels very durable, solid, and well-made, and gives a lot of confidence when traveling and checking it through airports.
One of my favorite features is the built-in TSA-approved lock. The zipper pulls click directly into the lock, which makes everything feel very secure and streamlined. I also liked the subtle luggage tag that hangs neatly off the side.
Inside, I really appreciated the zippered pocket organizers. They made it so easy to separate smaller items and keep everything from shifting around. It helped me stay organized throughout the entire trip instead of having everything just mixed together in one large space.
The expansion feature was another standout. I packed so much for an 8-day trip and still had room to spare once expanded. It made it easy to bring back extra items without any stress about space. I also used the included laundry bag during the trip, which was really helpful for keeping dirty clothes separate and made unpacking at home much easier.
The wheels are honestly one of the best parts. They glide so smoothly and feel almost buttery when you’re rolling it through the airport. Even when it was fully packed, it was incredibly easy to pull and maneuver, and it never felt heavy or like I was fighting with it at all.
