Travel is easy with these wheels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thrilled opening up the new Tumi Ventra Large Expandable luggage. From the beautiful hard shell, to the thoughtful zipper pockets and storage, this suitcase aims to please. We just came back from a short trip and filled this suitcase to the brim. It held 5 people’s worth of clothing and accessories with room to spare. The smoothness of the wheels left me giddy, I never knew luggage could role so smoothly.! I’ll never want to use my other ones again, I fear.

The design looks sleek, modern, and very durable, making it feel like a premium piece of luggage. I recently used it for a longer trip and was surprised by how much I was able to fit inside. The expandable feature was one of my favorite aspects because it gave me extra space for clothing, shoes, and a few souvenirs without making the suitcase feel overstuffed.
The wheels glide incredibly smoothly and made navigating through airports, hotel lobbies, and parking lots effortless. Even when the suitcase was fully packed, it was easy to pull and maneuver. My absolute favorite feature, though, is the built-in lock. It gave me extra peace of mind while traveling, knowing my belongings were secure without needing an additional lock. The zippers feel sturdy, the handle is comfortable to use, and overall the suitcase feels built to last.

Exceeded Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I have been shopping for a hard-shell luggage for quite some time, and we couldn't be happier with the Tumi Ventra Large Expandable Checked bag.
The main thing we were looking for was a lighter bag than our current large luggage, because almost every trip we were pulling stuff out of the bag because we were over the 50lb weight limit. The Tumi Ventra Large bag is over 2lbs lighter than the bag we previously owned. And as a woman with a lot of shoes & clothes, that 2lbs is HUGE!!
The one thing we didn't know we needed until we experienced it with the Tumi Ventra Large bag are the 2 zippered areas that keep clothes & shoes organized. With my husband's recent work trip, he was able to keep clothes zippered on one side and all his shoes zippered on the other. There was plenty of room for his suits, casual clothes, toiletries, shoes and even a fan that he likes to bring for the hotel room.
The design is sleek and modern. The cadet texture is a beautiful slate-teal color makes it very easy to find as it's coming around the luggage carousel in the airport. My husband even got a few compliments walking through the airport with this bag! As expected with airport travel, the bag has some scuffs from getting on/off the airplane- but they are only cosmetic. The quality of the zippers and material used for the inside compartments give me confidence that this bag will last years through the jostling of luggage transfers without rips and tears. The wheels are incredibly smooth, the 3-way adjustable handle easy to use, making walking through uneven parking garages, elevators, escalators, crosswalks and to the check-in counter a piece-of-cake.
Overall, the Tumi Ventra Large Expandable Checked bag has exceeded our expectations for a large suitcase, making travel less of a headache. I cannot wait for our upcoming family trip to see how it handles more clothes, shoes and toiletries. And most of all to pack 2 more pounds of things!

Holds a lot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This suitcase holds a lot! We packed a family of 6 for 4 days in the case and was able to easily zip it shut. I loved that it expanded, that was a great feature, along with the laundry bag. The peace of mind from the AirTag pocket (with my AirTag) reduced the fear of losing my bag in transit. I also really like that it has a built in lock for the zipper, with a combination so there’s no little key to worry about.
It was a little hard to maneuver though, I wish that had been easier. Usually we have our children help pull suitcases on wheels and it was too heavy for my son (granted he’s 7) to pull at all and I found it challenging as well.
We usually use duffels on wheels so the sturdy structure was also a change and something to get used to.
Overall, great bag, lots of features that I really liked, the different sections and pockets made keeping things organized easier, and would definitely purchase again.

Sleek and smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ventra Expandable suitcase is truly an exceptional suitcase that makes the packing experience more enjoyable and easy. From the first look you can see how sleek, modern and sophisticated the bag is. I was impressed with a number of features.
The lock is simple and easy to use. The extra layer of protection and privacy is not something to be overlooked these days. After entering the three digit code, simply slide the button down and the zippers pop right out of the lock. The included luggage tag is a great bonus and further adds to the sophisticated look.
The suitcase wheels glide around like a hot knife on butter. You can spin the bag in complete turns over and over with no issue. The handle adjusts to three different heights depending on what is comfortable for the user. All three heights feel secure and stable on the handle, as opposed to other suitcases I’ve used before.
Internally, the bag exudes organization and tidiness. The numerous compartments help keep everything in place and wrinkle free once you reach your destination. There truly is a place for everything you need in this bag. I am able to fit significantly more in this Tumi suitcase than I can in my previous soft sided suitcase. When the expansion zipper is opened, an additional two inches of space is added. Amazing!
My only point of concern is that in the few weeks I have had this suitcase, it is already showing scuff marks towards the bottom. As long as the bag holds up well, I don’t mind the scuffs. However, if this type of thing would bother you I would keep that in mind.
All in all, this is an amazing option for travelers looking for a sleek and well built suitcase. You would have no problem fitting everything you could need in the compartments and then opening up the expansion zipper for the souvenirs you need to fit on the way home. Don’t hesitate to invest in this high quality and long lasting Tumi suitcase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am blown away by the quality of this suit case from Tumi! It is beautiful and looks elegant and understated. I love how sleek it looks and I feel good traveling with it. My family and I recently used it for a trip to the beach. We were gone for 6 days and 5 nights. We are a family of three and we were able to fit all of our stuff inside. I packed us all 6 outfits, beach clothes, toiletries, extra shoes, and night wear. There are so many compartments that it made it extremely easy to keep everyone’s things separated. The suit case is so light that even when it’s filled to capacity it is still easy to roll around. In fact it was so easy that my 4 year old son was rolling it into the hotel for us without any issues. I’m already looking into purchasing more from Tumi and expanding my collection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE THIS SUITCASE!! As soon as I got this suitcase I fell in love. I’ve had others but nothing compares to this one! It has locks, and a key! Not to mention, black is one of my favorite colors. It’s also huge! I was able to fit mine and my husband’s clothing inside where normally we need two different ones! We love that because it’s so much less strain having to carry so many suitcases. I love it and if my hubby does too that’s added bonus!! Get this suitcase, you will not be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This luggage is absolutely perfect for larger trips. It's way lighter than I expected, the quality is clearly there, and it's worth every dollar. The color is beautiful and streamlined, and it expands to give so much space. I have size 10 feet and was able to pack at least five pairs of shoes, if that gives you any context for how roomy it is. The handle, wheel comfort, and smoothness are all fantastic. My kids love to use it and run through the airport with it.
The locking system was super easy to set up. My 11-year-old helped me with it and had no trouble at all. It was especially useful for international travel.
I love that Tumi uses eco-conscious recycled materials, and the durability is top-notch. I believe spending money on good luggage is important because it lasts so long. When you go cheap, it's heavier and doesn't hold up. We'll only be buying Tumi from here on out because of the quality, durability, eco-friendliness, and how great it looks.
