Great design, very roomy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the design of this. I like that it doesn’t look bulky even though it holds a lot. With two kids, I’m always carrying extra things, and I was surprised by how much I could fit inside without it feeling overly bulky. The quality feels really nice and sturdy, and the materials seem like they’ll hold up well with regular use. The expansion option is honestly one of my favorite features because it gives you extra space without making the whole thing huge all the time. I was able to fit a lot more inside than I expected, which made packing so much easier.
The wheels work really well and make it easy to pull and maneuver, even when it’s fully packed. I appreciate that it doesn’t feel like a struggle to move around while juggling everything else. The airtag pocket is genius!
Overall, this feels like a thoughtfully designed product.

A Great, Durable Suitcase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ventra large bag has been a pleasure to own. It's such a sleek and minimalist case. I love all of the thoughtful, functional details it has. The monogramming space is especially useful for quick identification, and the neutral color and design make it a great option as a family friendly, gender neutral bag.
The handle and wheels feel very sturdy, and all of the zippers are high quality. Even my 5 year old was able to roll and maneuver it easily. The wheels glide smoothly and effortlessly. I truly believe this suitcase will hold up well, even with our frequent travel.
I love packing it with packing cubes. Then it’s just a little puzzle game to get them all settled into each section of the bag. It’s spacious enough to fit a week’s worth of clothing for three people. I was even able to use the expandable zipper to fit a dress bag between both sections, and everything stayed pressed and in great condition upon arrival.
The exterior did pick up a few scuff marks during travel, but they came off easily with a damp towel. One of my favorite extras is the included laundry bag. It’s very well made and I was able to hang it in the hotel closet for dirty clothes and then take it straight to the laundry room when unpacking at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THIS SUITCASE IS AMAZING!!!! . The design is sleek, modern, and looks very high quality. It feels sturdy and well made, so I know it will last through a lot of trips. I travel abroad for a longer trip every once in a while and that expandable feature was one of my favorite things. I was able to fit all of my clothes and my kid’s clothes and I still had room to spare. It made packing so much easier.
The wheels are amazing, they’re incredibly smooth and so easy to maneuver, EVEN OVER THE RUGS!!! I was able to pull the suitcase effortlessly while carrying my toddler, which made a huge difference. With my previous suitcase, I always struggled trying to pull it while holding my baby, but this one glides so smoothly that traveling felt much less stressful.
Overall, it’s the best that I’ve ever used, I’m extremely happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality suitcase.

Amazing piece of luxurious luggage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were getting ready for our long cross country trip and Japan trip and wanted to find the perfect large check-in luggage that would meet all of our needs. The Tumi Ventra checked off all of the boxes that we needed.
As a family of four, we needed to have something that was light weight, versatile, but also extremely durable. We’ve used other brands in the past, but they always seem to break within the first few trips. The craftsmanship of this piece of luggage is impeccable. The locking system is extremely easy to use, which is typically a pet peeve of mine. The handle is super strong and durable and I love how it extends at different lengths. And I LOVE how there is a built in luggage tag. That just simply spells elegance and convenience.
In our upcoming trip, we’re planning to pack a lot, so being able to expand and hold a lot of packing cubes is very important to us. This piece of luggage can hold SOOO much and when expanded, it is still extremely sturdy. I hate how other pieces of luggage when expanded feel like they are about to break in half. But this piece of luggage is extremely stiff even when expanded.
One of the most unique features that I have never had before, is a spot specifically for your AirTag. This is crucial since we are always afraid of losing our luggage or having it stolen. When travelling to other countries, we are always terrified of losing our luggage and this added level of security is so important to us.
Finally, this piece of luggage is just simply elegant. I love how it has been crafted and the Tumi brand has not let me down before. We expect this piece of luggage to last us for many trips to Asia and around the world.

The minimalist aesthetic is immediately striking. My beautiful Ventra has a clean, classic shape that feels refined without being fussy. What impressed me most, however, is the weight. As someone who consistently pushes luggage capacity to its limits, the exceptional lightness of this suitcase is a game-changer. It leaves me with precious extra pounds to work with before hitting airline weight restrictions, a small detail that makes a real difference for over packers, like me.
After being handled by baggage crews at two of the busiest international airports, the Ventra emerged remarkably unscathed. A few marks appeared from paint rubbing onto the exterior, but here's the thing: they wiped away instantly with water and a paper towel. The suitcase still looks pristine, like it just came out of the box. For a bag that's been roughed around, this speaks volumes about the quality of the finish and overall construction.

Quality luggage for regular travel

This suitcase has all the elements of luxury and is still realistic for regular use. The outside feels smooth and is a great color for men and women. The wheels roll smooth across the floor, making it easy to maneuver on carpet, wood, and tile. The handle easily extends and retracts. I love the lock feature and not needing to worry about my luggage being accessed as the size of this bag needs to be checked. Overall, would highly recommend for anyone looking for stylish premium luggage.

Awesome luggage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the Tumi Ventra Large Expandable Checked luggage was wow! It is so lightweight! I was imaging it was going to be heavy when I picked up the box! As soon as I opened the box, I saw the luggage was in a luggage bag, that is very helpful being luggages get tossed around and get scratched up all the time. The design was very minimalist, very nice grey color which I personally liked. The quality feels great, not cheap at all. I liked that it comes with locks, serial number on the bottom, luggage tags, and an extra bag inside. I personally like to stuff my luggages when I go on trips, so I really appreciated all the extra pockets. It comes with an expansion option, so that’s a plus. The luggage comes with four wheels that turn everywhere and I can pull my luggage easily. I’m so excited to use it more often, it has replaced my older luggages!

Smooth and sleek but not unique

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tumi Ventra large expandable checked bag is a nice-looking, functional, hard-shelled suitcase. The wheels work great in every direction and on multiple surfaces, including carpet. I really like the size for a checked bag on a longer trip, and the option to expand is always a great feature to make sure you have extra space for purchases while traveling. The side with the compression straps fits my two large packing cubes perfectly side by side with room for smaller items underneath around the handle tracks. The expansion is also integrated into the pocket on that side of the suitcase. The cadet blue color is a pretty color that stands out a bit more than a basic navy blue. The only negative I can give is that there is really nothing special about the Tumi Ventra. There are no unique features that would make me choose it over other large hard-shelled suitcases that I have used.
