[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is what I've been waiting for. For years I've been looking for the perfect combination of devices. Carrying a phone, tablet and laptop was a pain but sufficed. With the Fold 8 I can now carry all 3 in my pocket. I am so happy with this device and have really enjoyed it's uses. Perfect form factor and great features that make this the Swiss army knife of phones.

Best Phone I have Owned

The form factor and the ability to use a small tablet at any time is beyond the scope of versatility. The moment I went to the samsung store and looked at the phone and held it with my own hands, I knew it was a phone to have. So far, every family member that has seen and used it have considered getting one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and I'm so happy that I did! I previously owned the 3 and 5 was going to get the 7, but decided to wait on the 8... When it came to the 8 or the ultra I based my decision on the last 2 folds I had owned... Previously I mainly used the folding screen since obviously it was larger... So when I seen the Ultra had the longer more narrow screen which previously I didnt really like, I decided to go with the 8 vs the ultra... I'm soooo glad I did! The front screen is wide and more compact which is great for my small hands and the phone doesn't seem as top heavy like I'm going to drop it and also texting is sooooo much easier! Now I'm mainly using the front screen which I prefer and using the inner fold screen when I want more of that tablet screen use for viewing photos and videos larger, sometimes gaming and things like that... Hands down best move Samsung has made with their Z fold series! I absolutely love my Z Fold 8!

You're Only Limited by you own Imagination.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had Samsung devices for most of my adulthood. I've dabbled on the other side, that shall not be named, lol.
No matter what device I may wonder off to, I always come back to Samsung and the Fold 8 was the breathe of fresh air, we've all needed in the industry for a while now. I hope Samsung keeps this form factor, maybe even make a variant next year with the S line that doesn't fold.
I chose the Fold 8 because after using the previous Fold 3 and 6, the 8 was so refreshing. The size and functionality just makes it a joy to use. I have to mention the battery life too... My goodness, the 8 is the little engine that could, haha.
Samsung, I've loved using your devices for a long time. Keep taking chances!. If you build it, the "Samsung Knight," will come!
Unlike your competitors in the U.S. that forces you to use their phones how they want you to, I appreciate you letting us make the phone, our own. The only limit is our own imagination!

Samsung finally solved the pocket-bulk issue—it fits cleanly into dress slacks and suit jackets without weighing them down, and the narrower outer display makes quick, one-handed tasks effortless while on the move. Opening it up still delivers the expansive tablet multitasking experience essential for reviewing documents, split-screening workflows, and managing calls.
​A 4-star rating reflects a couple of compromises that come with the slimmer profile:
​Typing real estate: The downsized cover screen is noticeably more portable, but long-form messaging requires some adjustment to avoid accidental keystrokes.
​Battery life: Powering the dual displays on heavy workdays—especially with split-screen apps and video calls—means you will likely need a mid-afternoon top-up.
​Camera hardware: Good for everyday point-and-shoot and document scanning, but long-range zoom clarity takes a backseat compared to Samsung’s larger Ultra lineup.

A beautiful device crippled by optimization issues

1. Camera optimization. The default camera is horrible if not in perfect lighting. However the pro camera on default settings automatically works superior without changing anything. Default needs to match
2 aspect ratio issues. If i have my keyboard overlap another textbox i am going to scream. This is an issue on youtube when searching your history, reddit, and in some cases reading apps. You are forced to open the device and use it portrait to see things. This shouldnt be the case. I should be able to use this phone closed and opened wide. But i am not surprised because you guys still havent fixed the issues with the tab s ultra.exact same issues. I think these are my last samsung products moving forward.
