[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So glad I finally upgraded! I was honestly super hesitant to ditch my old phone, but so glad I chose the Galaxy Z Fold 8 in Lavender. It is easily the best tech upgrade I’ve made in years.
First Impressions & Look-
Pictures don't even do this Lavender color justice. It’s this clean, muted purple that looks ridiculously sleek in person without being too flashy. It’s got a smooth matte finish that doesn't smudge up with fingerprints instantly, which is a huge plus.

In-Hand Feel-
My biggest worry was that a folding phone would feel like carrying a heavy brick in my pocket, but I was totally wrong. Folded up, it feels super natural to hold with one hand—slim, lightweight, and really comfortable. Unfolding it gives you a huge screen, but the weight is so well-balanced that your hands don't get tired holding it open while lounging on the couch or reading.

Work & Productivity-
If you do any work from your phone, this thing is a cheat code. Running three apps side-by-side on the unfolded display means I can review documents or spreadsheets on one half while taking notes or checking email on the other. No more flipping back and forth between apps a million times. It makes handling work stuff on the fly so fast that I rarely feel the need to pull out my laptop anymore.

A true multitasking powerhouse

Managing complex HR tasks requires reviewing spreadsheets, reading extensive documents, and responding to emails simultaneously. The 7.6-inch inner screen and its passport-style 4:3 aspect ratio have completely transformed my daily routine. I can comfortably snap two apps side-by-side, analyzing data on one half while drafting a candidate offer on the other, without feeling cramped.
When I am commuting, the 5.5-inch cover screen makes it incredibly easy to quickly fire off a message or check my calendar one-handed. The new Flex Titanium display structure makes the fold considerably less visible, and the anti-reflective coating allows me to comfortably work outside at a cafe by reducing screen glare. After hours, the Z Fold8 seamlessly transitions into my entertainment hub. The 15% brighter inner screen is phenomenal for streaming movies and watching sports highlights, with minimal letterboxing on standard videos. It has truly bridged the gap between a pocketable phone and a fully functional productivity tablet.

Working Smarter, Not Harder

Z fold8 a folding phone in a flip size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the fold 8 to replace my fold 6. I've been using a fold phone for a while but wanted the flip form factor. The flip6 i tried last was nearly perfect, but the main screen was too small. This phone solves that issue. It is very close to the same form factor as the flip, but opens up to a more usable size for gaming and media consumption

This Phone Is Everything I had Hoped!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this phone! This Galaxy Z Fold 8 is my second foldable Samsung device. I went from the Fold 6 to the 8, and I made the correct choice. I chose the Fold 8 over the Ultra 8 because of the passport size when closed. The phone size is perfect! I can text, surf, scroll, fill out online forms and take photos just fine with the phone closed. That is what I like most. Have I mentioned how ligh this phone is compared to the Fold 6. It is noticeable lighter, and that is good for my wrist. I can go all day after charging it over night. I use my phone quit a bit during the day. The inside screen is beautiful. I notice less glare when I am outside in the sun, and it's brighter. I have to take a lot of photos for different things outside for my job and my Fold 6 would overheat and I would have to wait for it to cool down to continue, but I haven't had this issue with the Fold 8. I chose the graphite color, 256 gb version and I have plenty of storage for everything. I haven't had any issues with this phone in the last 2 weeks. I am extremely satisfied with this device and can see myself using for the next few years. I thought I would miss my S Pen, but I do not. I don't take a lot of notes on my phone so I really didn't need the pen. The camera takes great photos, but took a bit to get used to because of where the camera lense is located. I really enjoy using this device and highly recommend it!
