This is the Fold we've been waiting for.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Z fold 8 is the perfect size and shape. Most of the time I can use the phone without even opening because the exterior screen is so functional.

The size and shape are reminiscent of the old Blackberry devices and it invites you return to thumb typing. The overall shape makes it a perfect pocket phone unlike most smart devices that are so long that they feel like they are bending in your pocket.

I would definitely buy this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the galaxy z fold 8 for the versatility is bring to the table. I can easily do everything on the cover screen. When I want to either dual wield internet searches or have music open and message I open to the internal screen and make great usage of the multi-view feature. I initially thought it would be clunky in my hands with the screen open but, it actually very comfortable. Everytime I am out in public and have the screen open it is a conversation starter. I whole heartedly recommend this product to everybody, especially those who are just getting into the folding phones. This would be my 2nd one, my 1st folding phone was the galaxy z fold 6

Best phone I've ever had!!

The screen quality is amazing for watching videos, the size of the phone far exceeds my expectations, overall this is literally by far the best phone I have ever had & the customizable options have this feeling like MY phone rather than a generic one.

I thought I knew all the tips and secrets until I waited a month and I searched another video and found 55 more new tricks.aybe they are getting found maybe they are being built. Who care I can use them for free and I love it. The phone is like no other sized phone which is awesome. More people need this.

I ended up liking this more than I thought I would

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year I chose to spend a little extra than necessarily warranted on the Fold 8, since even reviews negative towards it still said it's an amazing phone, just that it carries an inflated price tag.

I got the price down to 1400, and received it along with the Buds4 Pro (which is also shockingly good). Now I'm worried about my future spending habits, because I sincerely think this was my best phone purchase to date.

On positives: the phone is incredibly fast with very little lag/delay. The screens are very bright, with incredibly crisp images. When unfolded, the inner display tends to have really great, intuitive UI, with occasional hiccups on 3rd party apps. Software is amazing, with intense customization options. The phone is durable having slept on it many times, and occasionally dropping it a couple of feet.

There ARE negatives, mostly nitpicky. When opened up landscape (horizontally), both speakers are on the left. After a month there's a very slight jiggle from the hinge when closed, which I'm very conscious of (though I DO sleep on it often). I don't quite like the hole punched camera in the inner display. It has a valid reasons to be there, I just don't share those reasons. Finally, the built in speakers feel a little sub par. Even after messing with the EQ, they still sound a little tinny and lacks presence. For sure worse than my S22 ultra.

It's a great phone. Plenty of compliments, just fun to use, unique shape that's probably why it sold so well.

The square, rugged body paired with a matte middle frame gives it an exquisite build quality. The hinge damping is firm, opening and closing seamlessly with almost no light leakage issues.
Crease control is a major upgrade for this generation. However, the inner screen really should have an under-display camera, or else the user experience is far too poor, and it would ideally support flex-mode hovering. The ultra-thin body comes at the cost of audio-visual hardware: when the inner screen is unfolded, sound only outputs from a single side—essentially mono—resulting in thin volume and inadequate bass, which severely compromises the experience for watching shows and listening to music."
