Great aspect ratio for both screens
Really nice to have a very user friendly front screen
Battery life is superb
The lack of crease is amazing
Weight of the device is perfect
Cons:
Speakers only being on one side while opened is a misstep
The cameras really should line up horizontally at the top of device as my hand placement usually blocks the flash and bottom camera
Great aspect ratio for both screens
Really nice to have a very user friendly front screen

This phone is a step in the right direction. It's not perfect but it's very close and I can't wait the the next interation to see if Samsung is listening to the customers.

Perfect redesign!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Z fold 8 because of the redesign and I have been patiently waiting on the new passport style since my first Z fold 6 years ago. So far, very happy with the new style and amazed that the screen is better than the fold 7 with minimal crease. Definitely recommend this phone.

The New Z fold 8 is the right format for daily use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Z fold 6 for 2 years and very happy with the durability however the weight of 239 grams is still on the heavy side and the almost square aspect ratio of the inner screen is not made for media consumption. The best feature is the under camera display which give the z fold 6 an immersion experience. I chose to upgrade to Z fold 8 due to its new aspect ratio format bothe the outer and inner display. It does not have the udc inside camera but I am willing to trade the feature for a more thinner and a lot lighter z fold 8. Also the almost invisible inner screen crease have me sold. Thank you Samsung for making such a fine polished product. Happy to recommend.

Perfect Upgrade

The screen looks amazing, and the size feels perfect for everyday use. It is comfortable to use while still giving me the large display experience that I love about the Fold series.
One of the biggest improvements for me is the battery life. I have noticed that the battery lasts longer than it did on my Galaxy Z Fold 7, which makes a big difference throughout the day. The phone feels fast, smooth, and premium. I am extremely happy with my upgrade and definitely give the Galaxy Z Fold 8 a 5 out of 5!

Folding for the Z Fold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really enjoying the new Z Fold 8! The new shape brings comfortability and compact together into one device! I'm happy I chose to wait on upgrading until this device came out! The experience I've had consuming media on this has been great, where short form videos are the focus on the main screen, and whole TV shows or movies are enjoyable on the large inner screen.
One thing I miss between the Z Fold 8 and my old Z Flip 7... flex mode! It was so convenient to prop my phone open to watch something, read a recipe while cooking, etc. I didn't want a big phone like the Z Fold 8 Ultra, so I'm missing out on that key feature.
