I've been using the Fold series since the Galaxy Z Fold3 and have owned every generation since. Not because I feel the need to upgrade every year, but because Samsung has consistently improved the experience. The large inner display makes multitasking effortless, performance is always smooth, and it feels like carrying both a phone and tablet in one pocket. Even after all these years, opening the Fold still feels special. Going back to a regular phone now would be hard because the Fold has become such a natural part of my everyday life.

A Powerful Phone and Tablet in One

The large folding display makes a noticeable difference when viewing documents, browsing websites, watching videos, and running multiple apps side by side. Multitasking feels natural, and switching between the cover screen and the main display is smooth.
The phone feels premium and well designed despite the amount of technology packed inside it. Performance is fast and responsive, even when several applications are open. The cameras produce detailed photos, and the larger screen makes reviewing and editing pictures much easier. The software and Galaxy AI features also take advantage of the folding design rather than feeling like unnecessary additions.
There is a brief adjustment period when moving from a traditional phone, particularly because of the larger size and different screen proportions. However, the flexibility and extra workspace make the adjustment worthwhile. Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is an impressive device for productivity, entertainment, photography, and everyday use. It has reduced how often I need to reach for a separate tablet or computer.

The biggest upgrade is the massive inner display: the crease is practically invisible now, making movies and gaming wildly immersive. When unfolded, the device feels incredibly sleek and surprisingly lightweight in the hand.
Performance is lightning-fast thanks to the newest processor, so jumping between multiple heavy apps is completely seamless. Samsung also fixed battery anxiety; the larger cell easily survives a heavy day of use, and it tops up incredibly quick. The cameras are stellar too, capturing gorgeous, crisp shots even in tricky lighting.
