Foldi Ultra - Best in class

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this device. It checks almost all the boxes. I chose to upgrade from the Fold7 while being skeptical but it was worth it. Somehow it is even slimmer with a bigger battery. The updated ultrawide camera is also a welcome change. It's not perfect though, yet. I hope it actually lives up to the "Ultra" naming soon with better cameras. Even if telephoto lenses are completely dropped, the other 2 (wide+ultra-wide) should be the same as the other flagship "Ultra" devices. For example nightography isn't on par with the S26 Ultra standards. But this has come very close to perfection.

It improvements that matter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung made enough improvements to the Fold 8 Ultra, that convinced me to trade in my Fold 7, which I was loving already. I am planning to keep my Fold 8 Ultra for at least 3 years now. I usually upgrade every year, but this time I think the improvements is enough to warrant, no significant changes for ar least a couple years. But 1 week in I love my Fold 8 Ultra. No complaints

It's no different from having a dual monitor setup with your PC. Just can't go back once you delve into this style of mobile play.

Honestly, this is the best version of the Z Fold I have owned. The size, weight, and overall build quality are excellent.

Great phone with bad updates

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to upgrade from a fold 5, this new phone is my 3rd fold. Several updates from previous generations fall short. Removing the ability to hide the camera hole from the display when the phone is open honestly made me consider returning the device. It was such a poor choice in change from previous models. The recent updates to the UI, changing it to act as a tablet, have degraded the user experience further. The device is honestly a little too thin in my opinion as well. The buttons are placed better than folds from some other companies though, and the lack of visible crease is a nice improvement over previous generations. Overall a very mid phone for the price.
