[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first fold i had ever owned and coming from a S22 was a big step for me.
I didnt follow the trends and choose this phone because of the pretty cases or the UI cusomization. I like practicality.
The ultra 8 fold had not only given me a screen for regular down time but a wider screen to watch and/or read things that id normally have to pull up on a computer or a ipad.
It made my eyes feel more comfortable with the wider screen and yes i did have to get a case for it because the raise ridges on the camera made it feel a little unbalanced.
However, i have no other problems from this device, i will miss my old s22 of 5 years and hope for 5 long years with the Fold ultra 8.

I love the big screen, how smooth everything feels, and how easy it is to multitask.
It looks sleek, feels premium, and the camera quality is really good.
It’s definitely a little pricey, but for me, it’s worth it.
Overall, I’m really happy with my choice and would definitely recommend it.

Versatility in a super thin package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to step back into the foldable world after daily driving a Fold 3 for two years back in 2022-2023. I loved the form and function of the older Fold 3 and found that I missed having the larger folding screen for media when I used an S24 Ultra and an S25 Ultra.
The Fold 8 Ultra is absolutely the culmination of 7 prior generations of folding phones and it shows in many ways. The outter screen is much more usable, the inner screen feels more responsive, and the battery life is exceptional. AI integration makes using the Fold 8 Ultra for daily tasks and work much easier.
I recommend the Fold 8 Ultra to anyone that is wanting a first step into the world of folding phones.
