Ultimately, my favorite phone ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The moment I got my Z flip 8, I knew she was a keeper. I have been heavily debating getting this phone for monthsss and would constantly watch videos and reviews of other Z flips and Samsung phones. After a while, I thought "you only live once, get that phone." And now here I am. I chose the Z flip 8 because I loved the nostaglic feeling of flipping a phone. After using it for about 2 weeks now, its my favorite phone I have ever had as it's so easy to use, navigate, and takes great photos. I absolutely do not regret it!

LongTime Galaxy S Owner Finally Went to the Z Side

I've had a Samsung Galaxy phone since the original Galaxy S but this is my first foray into the foldable form factor. I ove it so far. I have always kept mine in a case, so the lack of a magnet isn't a big deal to me, as I just got a case with a magnet built in. I've been waiting to switch to a foldable til now because I wanted to wait till they seemingly got all the kinks worked out, and IMO, they have. Sure, I wish they would've included the titanium support in the folding mechanism as they did for the Fold 8/8 Ultra, but the crease still seems minimal and mostly unnoticeable when the screen is on. Battery life is also pretty great.
I really like the device specific software as well as the app support for the cover screen.
Overall, I'm really enjoying the Z Flip 8 and would absolutely recommend it.

Amazing back screen features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always liked the quality of samsung phones so I went back and forth a lot to pick my new one. I'm so glad I chose the ZFlip 8 to upgrade to. It's perfectly ized for my life. It's well-designed, expressive and eay to use.
The back screen features are clever and I really enjoy using them.

I chose the Flip 8

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the flip 8 because my daughter's wanted the flip phone. Time i deci6to upgrade the flip 8 had just came out. So we gotten the newest one at that time. However it does have a lot of Kent's to work out. For example the Google assistant 🙄 only text my youngest daughter. It does not make the calls or read the text. You can not have different ring tones or text notifications for different contacts. The sensitivity touch is barely working properly. Someone with neuropathy needs to be able to properly use this feature to its fullest.

Minimal upgrade feels like a downgrade

Just a normal person reporting. This phone isn't better out of the box, in my case you have to go to the provider website for the esim which disjoints you from the set up. There is no discernable upgrade for this phone that i can tell. In fact, the color feels matte and not shiny. Everything feels like a downgrade aestheticly. I am not techie so saying how it is perceived. It's about the same size and depth. No real changes with waterproofing or dustproofing. Same camera as far as I can tell. Not impressed. If you don't need a new one, don't buy it. If you are like me and need a flip phone, I'm considering Motorola. Which is exactly what I think Samsung wants.
