The color matched the picture. It isn’t slippery so the grip is wonderful. The edges stick out a little to give extra protection for the screen.

Not sure about durability yet but burgundy is really one of my top five colors now because of this case starting it all. I love the material and how it blends seamless with the matching grip and chain. Shipping took a minute but the wait was well worth it.

The matte scratches off

This is probably my 5th VC case, I really do love their styles, but this matte case is flawed. It has started scratching/chipping off where the MagSafe circle is on the back. And on the corners of the case, the matte has rubbed away. Bummed. :(
